Purple Place Bar & Grill Review

Their food is simply amazing. I am never disappointed by a meal. I think the California Club might be my favorite, but I love the whole menu

Excellent food, waitress was quick and friendly. It was take your child to work day too so I m sure she was extra stressed but she did a great job.

Pretty good food but super loud even in the dinning room. Didn't make it over to the bar side because I had the kids with me but will be going back for sure

Ok, the place is purple, there's lots of motorcycles outside, do NOT let that stop you from checking it out. The food is TERRIFIC, there's a bar and the service is really good. How can you go wrong?

Spinach salad with strawberries, cashews, cheese, red onions, grilled chicken and balsamic was delicious. Server was super friendly and efficient. We love to go here for breakfasts and now consider it a good option for dinner as well.

I went there three weeks ago and had excellent half rack of ribs. Went back tonight and was told they have a new chef. Ribs had half the meat on them, the sauce was barely there at all. You lost a good chef and a good customer.

We love this place, we bring our dog, they have a doggy menu, we sit outside, service is good. We order burgers, breaffast, mimosas they have all been goid so far. Outside patio is a plus

Stopped in for lunch with my son in law and 3 kids, great service and food. It was a perfect lunch time stop.

Great place for breakfast on the weekends. Starts to get crowded about 9 AM. The friendly service has always been good. The wide variety of breakfast food is great. I have never had a dish here I didn't like.

We go here all the time. Great neighborhood bar and restaurant serving typical American food. Good music on weekends when coronavirus is not an issue

Great service, very polite and pleasant servers. The food was served as ordered which is a pleasant change from many other places. The eggs Benedict was not the best I've ever had however the overall experience was wonderful.

Went last night for the first time, because a friend invited us to come watch the A's game. He has mentioned several times how amazing this place was so we were excited to try it out. The place fell far short of expectations. It wasn't very busy, and within a couple minutes of sitting down we had water, and our order for beers was taken. After the first round we all ordered food, and when it came out I didn't get my full order...I figured they ran out of hands. My side Caesar came out, and I asked for a extra dressing from the person who brought it out. I then say there watching everyone else eat their food. After 10 mins the guy that invited us went to the bar to ask if our waitress could come to the table since nobody had checked on us. I again asked for dressing and more beers since we were all empty and had been for awhile. I also asked about the rest of my food. She left, and came back several mins later with my dressing. She then said she forgot to put in my full order and they were making it now ...it would be a couple minutes. Ten minutes later she came back to say it would be about 5 more minutes, and that's when I told her to cancel it. Everyone else had gotten their food over 20 mins before, and were almost done eating. She said sorry again and left. My wife ordered a burger (well done) with tots, and couldn't finish her burger since it was burned and tasted of char. The busser brought out silverware 3 times so we had a collection of knives and forks in the center of the table. When the waitress was clearing the table she made a comment about us having so much, and two of her tables not having any. For them messing up my order I expected to maybe get a discount or something comped which didn't happen. I was very dissatisfied with my experience there which is unfortunate because of everything I had heard... hopefully it was just a bad night. My friend and his wife felt bad about it saying they have never seen it bad like this before in all the years they had been coming.

Great staff, very interactive. But, the food, way below the standards of the worst fast food. I will not eat there. Drink? Yes. EAT? Not until they come up with a real chef that cares about the food he/she puts out.

A local breakfast hotspot, their bloody marys are delicious.

The purple place has been here for longer than I can remember. Great food and drinks.

People was nice the shrimp cocktail was very good they make their own home made sauce to dip it in and it's better than shrimp cocktail!

We really enjoy the great food and excellent service here ! Looking forward to our next visit.

We've been coming here since our children were little. Now we bring our grandchildren. Full bar on one side and excellent restaurant on the other. Restaurant has AMAZING food and equally great service. I highly recommend.

Great service & food. Not too noisy. Enter on the restaurant side instead of sketchy bar side. Watch your head for low-hanging lamps in restaurant.

As always the service, the food are completely on point! This plate had an amazing breakfast on it. What was it? It doesn't matter because everything they make is delicious and it is all in my belly! I recommend you come to the Purple Place and put some of their delicious dishes in your belly too.

Grilled Artichokes with lemon garlic aioli. = delicious. Shrimp cocktail = amazing. Baked potato spring rolls = all day.

Amazing! Great vibe , great food, dog friendly! Corned beef hash with bloody Mary so yummy! My hubby had best eggs benedict ever, and we even ordered for our dogs off the dog menu! Can't say enough about how great our experience was.

Great brunch place! You should definitely get the ooey gooey coffee cake!

Off the beaten path to some degree, the Purple Place is indeed that. Good sandwiches, local folks and the check won't hurt your arm if you pick it up. Casual, tasty and good for breakfast or lunch...

Personal non chain restaurant that is Very Popular with the locals. Parking is usually not a problem. The place is not overly big and due to its popularity there can be a short wait but they do have some outside seating. The food is very good and portions are generous. The breakfast is very popular here and my neighbor says their ribs are the best he's had.

Always nice coming here. The patio is great, shuffleboard is cool, and the food is great. Very nice staff too.

Fun place to eat. Live music on weekends. Great fish & chips!

My husband and I come here usually every weekend. The servers are always quick and nice. Careful those nice beautiful days lead to high crowds.

Another perk DOGS are allowed on patio area.

Great local bar for happy hour. Service is always awesome and we love the food - the nachos are our go to happy hour food. Generous plates. Good selection of IPAs.

Margarita was served in a warm glass so drink was actually warm and ice all melted, burger was dry hockey puck and cold old bun. Really too bad, I really liked this place but last 3 times it has not been very good.

Busy place for a Sunday brunch. The BLT was great! I like the thick bacon they used. Good service, food was delivered quickly.

The food is delicious, decent service. Beware the restaurant side closes at 2pm and reopens at 5. During that time they serve full menu on bar side.
