I came there to eat the soup of the day and decided to sitdown at the bar to avoid extra fees for waitress. As I watched TV, the bar-man asked what I am about to drink, even though I already ordered the soup with the front waitress. I asked for water, no ice. He brought me glass of water and asked what else I would like, and I had to tell all over again about my soup. And then, guess what? he asked whether I need my soup for here or to go, all while I am sitting on a chair and drinking water. I realized that I am not welcomed here. I said, to go, took my soup and ate at the bench outside. Very wierd place with very rude, unhospitable people.

Usually don't go to restaurants I've never heard of. We picked it out of curiosity and great ratings. Extremely glad we went with that decision. Sirloin steak was cooked perfectly and still juicy. Mashed potatoes were seasoned well and the gravy was good to top it off. Would recommend and go back anytime I get the chance.
We had a wonderful waitress that set us up with a Bluemoon beer and a top shelf magarita appetizer was fried asparagus honey mustard sauce mmmm dinner she recommended the shrimp n grits omg good first time for that and I had chicken parmesan the service the food the experience was awesome thanks guys
Everything was really good. I had the chopped chicken salad and the citrus vinaigrette was yummy. My husband had the beef tips pasta; the meat was tender and flavorful.
Top notch in every way!! Mike was a wonderful, contientious, helpful waiter. I always check out rest rooms at new restaurants for cleanliness, and this place rocked with Sanitizer in the stall! I wish everyone did that. My husband loved the crab & shrimp dip appetizer and his combo of steak & scallops. I loved my grilled chicken with Italian cheese & sun dried tomatoes. & MANGO iced tea!! Not the cheapest place, but finally getting great customer service, great food, & sanitary restrooms was well worth it.
The host mrs able was such a nice and beautiful lady she made me feel so happy for stopping here everything was great the waitress was very good and the food was great a big difference from the fast food trucker are use to getting just 3min walk from the pilot and you can place to go orders
Dinner was great! We celebrated my moms birthday and the waitress went out of her way to make sure everyone's needs were met. Very vegan friendly and food was delicious. My kids had fun coloring the kids menu and the kids cheese pizzas were huge! Definitely will wat there again. #vegan
The service was AMAZING n the food was even more AMAZING!! As OTR truck drivers this is hands down theeeee best place we stopped to get something to eat left with both our tummy s n our thoughts on this place filled the food was made with LOVE!! We will definitely be back n marking this exit as one of our stops when passing through TN
Went here on the recommendation of the hotel we are staying at. Everyone was very friendly and the waitress (Amber R. I think) was very patient in helping us find something delicious. Thank you! My fiance got the rib eye and I got the Palermo Chicken and they were both exceptional. The steak was cooked perfectly and the chicken was very tender. Our glasses were always full of tea and the appetizer (fried pickles) was delicious as well.
A great place great people and great food. I ordered the seafood platter great perfect salmon with scallops and shrimp over rove and perfectly cooked vegetables. I will be returning .
A comfortable short wait for seating. A wonderful friendly waitress made us comfortable answered our questions and took our orders. Our salads came quickly and soon our entrees arrived. Love at first bite! A great Southern Low-Country meal with a wonderful mixture of flavors. Shrimp and grits with a great mix of Italian flavors. #1. I'm sure I will return to that dinner table at first opportunity.
The food was ok. My husband ordered the Chicken Parmesan and couldn't get spagetti noodles with it, only penne pasta. He wouldn't order again. I had the Chicken Florentina. It was ok. The broccoli was really salty. We tried the cheesecake for dessert and it was delicious. Deb E
Let me start by saying the food was amazing and the service was great. And that should be enough for 5 stars from me, but I do want to comment on the atmosphere because I know that can play a big part in some diners' experience. It was such a weird mix of classy and casual, but not in the way that is accomplished by "hipster" style modern restaurants. The decor was similar to an Italian restaurant that is stuck in the late nineties or early 2000s, and the staff members were wearing black button ups with ties while most customers were wearing jeans, ball caps and other casual attire. Prices are moderate, comparable to a chilis or applebees. The service from our waitress was awesome. She was so attentive and ready to refill drinks or be available when we had questions. However, I think it's pretty standard protocol to not use the vacuum near customers and while we were eating the other waitress vacuumed all around our table. It didnt bother me, because I'm a pretty casual person. But I could see it being bothersome to some. The music playing was soft smooth jazz, but the people at the bar were yelling about the March madness game loudly enough that we could clearly hear every word from the far end of the restaurant. Like I said, the food was amazing! I highly recommend the food (and the drinks, try the Italian margarita, it involves amaretto). And our waitress was so nice and helpful. But if weird atmospheres bother you, you might want to move on. But I will definitely be back if I'm in the area.
Beer selection is awful and the food is not much better. The restaurant has not been received renovated since it was built. They have like 3 beers on draft and prided themself in telling me that they had A craft beer. One single craft beer that tasted like cigarette smoke and peanuts. Prices doesn't reflect the protions or the quality of the food. A gentleman at my talble ordered prime rib and when it was served the steak was ice cold. The happy hour is a joke, $1 beers.
Another fine dining experience. All 4 of us had the filet mignon, it and our server were fantastic! We live in Knoxville and it's definitely worth the drive. Bill
Service wasn't very good. The manager went to every table to ask how everyone's food was but just walked past ours. If he would've stopped I would have told him that my chicken Parmesan tasted like it came out of a can.... Trash can that is. My husband said the fish tacos were good but he will literally eat anything. This was our last stop in Tennessee and I am very disappointed. Should've just went to Wendy's.
We sat at the bar and had pretty good service. The ahi tuna app was very tasty! We ordered 2 entrees; crab cakes with grits and slaw, rattlesnake prime rib with salad and loved baked potato. Both dishes were flavorful. The grits were not to my liking as they were a bit stiff with a gravy atop and the slaw was an Asian version and not flavorful but the crab cakes were very good! The prime rib was perfectly cooked and seasoned well! And you can never go wrong with a side salad and loaded baked potato
My 4 vs 5 is simply the fact that the fill in server (ours took her 1st break after working 6 hours) was not attentive in asking or serving refills on beverages versus chatting with other servers- and we all know that the more customers drink the higher the bill- the higher the bill the better the tip! (We took of our gal directly though)
Outstanding service, Food was amazing . Our waiter was fast and friendly. Didn't have to wait a long time for our food. It will definitely be a place we visit again.
Good news and bad news. The good news is that the food was very good and mostly what I ordered except that they seemed to alternate between sweet tea and unsweetened tea. The roast beef was excellent. The bad news was that I got seated by the hostess and then ignored by the wait staff for over 10 minutes. While I understand that a table with a single person generates less in tips than a table of 4, having every waiter and waitress in the place actually refuse to make eye contact with me is just rude. They walked by my table and ignored my raised hand, my pointed look and even my call to them. I finally had to get the attention of the manager to get served and after that everyone fell all over themselves to apologize and get me my meal. I'm sure that they will not do that to others in the future.
Just had lunch with a party of 13 and sometimes a group that size can prove challenging. However, the server was excellent---efficient, friendly, and very attentive without being intrusive. Both the quality and quantity of the food were excellent as well. Great place to eat!
Outstanding food. Great service. This a top rated restaurant in Knoxville and the food earns that reputation. Why is it you always find places like this on vacation?
