Have had several projects with them starting in 2013. Always thoughtful and creative at solving the particular challenges at hand. Had an issue pop up years after our solar installation and they honored their warranty 100%, fixing everything at their cost. Had to have inverters replaced due to a manufacturing issue and they took care of that as well. I ve asked them hundreds of questions and they always provide a good answer.
Puget Sound Solar was a pleasure to work with. The initial meeting with the sales and design engineer to talk about the ins and outs of going solar was very informative and engaging. As we compared bids with other companies and asked for tweaks in the initial design they were always very responsive. We chose them because they were the least expensive option, and are top quality. Putting up the panels was quick and painless. Everyone we met from the company was friendly and professional.

I was pleased with every aspect of my installation from PSS that was in their control.
For those that don't know, the L&I and PSE side of things is VERY slow (at least on my project) and not something Puget Sound Solar can control.
I gathered multiple bids on my project and went with my gut based on my industry experience and some things I noted about each contractor. They were cost competitive, coming in second most affordable. They were able to communicate clearly with me to meet my needs of a multi-phased project. I had a 5 week contract-to-install time which is unheard of in my experience at the height of summer. The crew that came out was very professional and I got to chat with them a bit as I kept them hydrated during a rather warm set of PNW summer days.
Quality of work is top notch. Expectations were met and exceeded.
Everything is still chugging along one year in as I ready myself for phase II with PSS.
I did recommend to a friend and unfortunately they did not proceed for a few reasons that I understand but so far I keep my trust in PSS.
Puget Sound Solar has installed two solar systems for me. 10 years ago they installed one that I replaced with a newer one when I had to replace my roof last year. Every estimate they made on both systems was spot-on. If anything they seem to estimate a little less than what you will get just to make sure they don't overstate it. I can't wait to add to my system.

Puget Sound Solar installed a PV array on my roof. I got a few bids for this job, eventually narrowing it down to 2 companies. Puget Sound Solar eventually won out because their pricing was slightly better and the panels they used are slightly more efficient than the competitors. I did all this just before the coronavirus shutdown and Puget Sound Solar couldn't do the installation until restrictions were lifted. Once lifted, they contacted me quickly and got a crew right out. The crew was very efficient and were very respectful. I would definitely recommend Puget Sound Solar to anyone wanting to install a PV array.
I have been a customer of Puget Sound Solar for ten years. It was time to replace my roof, and in planning to remove the original solar panels, Will at PSS came up with a plan for new, more effective panels, increased production, a good price and financing available. PSS coordinated their work with roofer, and both projects were complete in a week. Outstanding and always supportive over the years. I highly recommend going solar, and using Puget Sound Solar for that work! BTW there are three of us on the street who all have PSS systems and very happy with them.
