Palmbrook Country Club Review

Nice course and good layout. It's not too easy but it's definitely not hard compared to some courses in Arizona. The people here are great. They keep the course in good condition. The practice facilities are fantastic. I love the shade the course provides. Does not feel like it should be $25 bucks.

Well manicured public course that used to be a private club. Excellent practice facilities and a nice clubhouse. Free popcorn at the well stocked bar. Golf is reasonably priced for the quality of the course and includes range balls and cart. Traps are grainier and more hard packed that ideal, but playable. Course is pretty crowded in the mornings year round so I recommend calling for tee times. Have played the course a hundred times or so and I enjoy the variety it offers.

Great place for concerts! Super clean, very classy, right on the golf course. Great food. Saw Mick Adams and The Stones, Rolling Stones show there and it was awesome!

Course is in great shape, love the new carts and range balls. Great value and the course stays playable in the summer too.
The bar/restaurant is good also.

Started coming here with my grandfather and my father years ago. Still play this course regularly. Fair price and great course. Everyone in the pro shop is nice and extremely helpful. My go to golf course in the area.

We run a golf tournament here every year. They have been great to work with and our participants have a great experience.

Pace of play was great, free warm up,staff was friendly (even though were not members) and the course is in good shape.

Nice place, good food, however e they add a 25 percent surcharge on top of taxes and tips.

Quiet, well- manicured course in great shape. Nice bar and restaurant.

We visited due to a Christmas party being held there. The staff was great and the food was wonderful. I enjoyed one heck of a prime rib meal and as usual, there was no need for a take-out box.

Greens are extremely slow. Fast greens used to be the attraction for me here. Place is starting to slide downhill...how do you forget water in all of the ball washers!? Dry as a bone! Details...

We spent the most wonderful evening on New Years Eve. Dancing, food, drinks and toasting in the new year. Great fun!

The course is mediocre and half the staff is as nice and cool as it gets. The other half of the staff has no courtesy and extremely disrespectful. Would play as a last resort and that s about it.

The best deal in town for golf! Although, the restaurant needs a lot of help! I'm not talking about the food. It's a little old-fashioned so, it needs to be more of a sports bar. The food is actually very good.

Really good course with a great layout. The main difficulty here is distance as the black tees (2nd from back, and rated around 70 for handicap) are over 6500 yards. The fairways are pretty wide open, but wayward drives can find trees, water, OB and sand. The greens are not elevated! They were very fair and consistent when I played. I will definitely be back.

The course was in great shape. The layout was fun and challenging. We had a big lunch for six and the food was excellent. The club sandwich was fresh and really good. My wife had the cheeseburger and it was awesome. Will be going back for lunch and golf again soon.

I live just to the west side if the course, I was walking my dog on the perimeter. However it is a very nice golf course, semi-private.

I used to enjoy playing here. However when me and my good freind got paired up with a 2some of "seinors".. well we had the worst day in the history of golf... right from the first tee this self proclaimed palmbrook "coach" would NOT leave me alone.... i very nicely asked him to stop repeatedly, he did not. I went through 18 holes of hell. we will never play here again!!!

Food was excellent. Staff were cordial, professional and jovial. Greens were very difficult to put on, speed was good. Tiff would be nice for this course. Every elses was good.

Perfect greens, very good fairways, friendly staff. Definitely one of the better middle level courses that stays affordable during the winter months.

Haven't played the course but used the practice facility. Course looked great and it only cost 14 bucks for unlimited range balls and all day pass for practice amenities.

Caught this course right after watering around 1130 and it was challenging enough to be fun and staff was great

First time at this track, pleasantly surprised at the condition at the test of skill at this track. Course was easy to find from GPS. Plenty of parking available, carts can be taken into parking lot to your car. Staff was very professional and cordial.

Greens were firm and fast but I would suggest you call to ensure they have not punched greens for winter over seeding before making tee time. Greens rolled true and were a pleasure to play. Traps had plenty of sand in them and played tough if you were in them. Plenty good lies to be had in the fairways and in the rough. Water a plenty on the back side but easy enough to maneuver your way around if you are hitting your ball well.

Enjoyed my round here and be happy to go back and play here again after over seeding is completed.

Course in great shape... A few ball washers in disrepair. Garbage receptacles missing at most tee boxes. $45.00 too pricey for this course. Cheaper options available at courses that can be booked online.

Palmbrook country club will be opening today after overseeding the golf course looks magnificent.the food at the restraunt is extremely tasty. Wana injoy a burger and a beer at the grill.or as we call it the 19 hole. Come and injoy a game of golf at the second course build in Sun City Palmbrook country club

Our Sun City Early Birds Lions Club met at Palmbrook this morning. Wonderful tasting breakfast and nice comfortable room where our meeting is held.

Course is in great shape. Summer rates makes it very affordable.

Fairways were a bit sporadic, looked good but not always grass. I did enjoy the round and the course. I will be back.

Their top chef is super talented, lovely, and super friendly. If I don t feel like golfing I ll go for the grub any day.

I'd give this place zero stars if I could. Worse shape than a muni, incompetent employees and ownership that doesn't care adds up to what is the worse conditioned golf course in Sun City. Food and beverage is minimal and closes early so if you play later in the day, good luck if you want anything in the clubhouse. Gotta believe most of the 4 and 5 star reviews are employees.

Fairly open course but overpriced for it's layout, worries go back.
