Providence St. Joseph Medical Center Review

Horrible experience. The doctor was an ego maniac. There was no thoroughness to his method. It felt like I had walked into a fake doctors office filled with bad actors. Boo.

I had something on my eye
I went to St Joseph to be removed.
I was seen my young doctors assistant and he tried to remove the piece of metal using needle , but he said he can't do anything. He just wasted my time and guess what they charge my insurance $ 1400 and plus send me separate bill from company Burbank emergency medical GP INC.

During the pre-opp they failed to notify me that my insurance did not cover my procedure and tokk my insurance card, ran it, and charged me...what I thought was my co-pay. Now they are charging me for the entire bill because the hospital was out of my network. Yes, I probably should have done more homework. But now they are refusing to negotiate a settlement with me and at least treat me like a cash patient. Nope no lump sum discount to my payment. I owe it all, every penny. This is supposed to be a non-profit!!They have only been dismissive and detached and not helpful at all! They over-charged me for medications a brought in and I requested they at least remove that from my now HUGE bill and they haven't even done that! Stay away, or if you can't, ask for an itemized statement and make sure they aren't over charging you. Their billing department is heartless!
Non-profit, catholic, looking out for patients well-being...yeah right! what a joke!!!

Emergency room is extremely inefficient. You will die here before getting any treatment!

Impeccable staff starting from nurses all the way up to the doctors in this difficult times you cannot put a price on the sacrifices that these people make , they are Young energetic optimist positive professional staff, and that s what you want to see when you are sick and hospitalized Thankyou very very much from everybody for saving my life for the third time
