During the pre-opp they failed to notify me that my insurance did not cover my procedure and tokk my insurance card, ran it, and charged me...what I thought was my co-pay. Now they are charging me for the entire bill because the hospital was out of my network. Yes, I probably should have done more homework. But now they are refusing to negotiate a settlement with me and at least treat me like a cash patient. Nope no lump sum discount to my payment. I owe it all, every penny. This is supposed to be a non-profit!!They have only been dismissive and detached and not helpful at all! They over-charged me for medications a brought in and I requested they at least remove that from my now HUGE bill and they haven't even done that! Stay away, or if you can't, ask for an itemized statement and make sure they aren't over charging you. Their billing department is heartless!
