Great studio. Never would have known its there unless u were inside.

I'm a filmmaker and I love The Prospect Studios (also known as ABC Television Center, a lot containing several television studios located at 4151 Prospect Avenue in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles, at the corner of Prospect and Talmadge Street (named in honor of silent screen star Norma Talmadge), just east of Hollywood. I work here on General Hospital and I enjoy it. For more than 50 years, this facility served as the West Coast headquarters of the American Broadcasting Company before the network moved its main headquarters to the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, California. From 1949 to 1999, ABC-owned Los Angeles television station KABC-TV was also located there. Truly inspirational. The station moved to a new state-of-the-art facility located on a portion of Disney's Grand Central Creative Campus (GC3) in nearby Glendale, California, in December 1999. The Walt Disney Company, which acquired ABC in 1996, continues to own and operate the facility to this day. I'm looking forward visiting again. Best, George Anton ANTFLIX

A historical studios over one hundred years old. Stages and national television broadcasting. The residential neighborhood grew around the filming barns and fields.

Prospect Studios is a bad neighbor. Year after year they have failed to do anything about the filth, street trash and debris that collects in front of the studio grounds.

The build up of trash and leaves causes the gutters to block up and flooding to occur during our rainy season.

The sidewalks bordering the studio are essentially their front yard and as such are Prospect Studios responsibility. How Prospect Studios can live with their clients driving through such a mess is beyond me.

Former location of Vitagraph/Warner Brothers East Annex Studio, this became ABC Television Center in 1948. Some of the shows produced here were American Bandstand, The Lawrence Welk Show, and Let's Make a Deal.

They film some ABC shows here. It's a regular film studio. Don't expect to be let on without an appointment.

Studio where they record Grey's Anatomy, but no tour

Prospect Studios has a warm and friendly atmosphere. My sister and I just visited the studio this Monday and everyone whom we came in contact with greeted us with a smile. I was a complete stranger and they welcomed me with open arms! My sister and I walked around the studio with a friend and took some pictures. It was a wonderful experience. GREY'S ANATOMY ALL THE WAY!!
