My husband and I engaged Property 101 to look after our rental property at Georgetown I personally would never recommend this company they did not act on instructions by us with notifications to the tenants and when we sold the property (out of spite because they could no longer earn any ongoing money) they left us hanging with no property managers for the last two months until settlement very unprofessional.

Kylie and Siobhan are an incredible team and were invaluable in assisting me with negotiating a purchase. They spent a great deal of time to get a full understanding of my situation, wants and needs. I was very specific in what I wanted and they helped to negotiate a fabulous outcome for me. They took on all the stress and chasing up with real estate agents which can make the process emotionally draining. I was informed up to the minute with all developments and got exactly what I was after.

In January this year I settled on another investment property in the Newcastle region, I had no time to get up there and view numerous properties due to work and family, the team who helped me purchase were very professional and helped me negotiate a buying price, I get very anxious buying property as expected but they helped organise a tenant for me aswell which was leased at the first showing for above market rent which i am happy with

Umm pretty horrific if you are the tenant. Things you would normal consider essential repairs like an oven or a busted powerpoint hanging over a sink literally took years to see action on and one day we woke up and our carport was being taken down on the landlord's orders. Great if you are a slum lord, terrible if you are a slum dweller
EDIT; we were told if this review was not removed they couldn't help us in replacing the late 90s air conditioner that has never been serviced and would continue to hold that it's failure was our fault. For the record, we have lived here just under 2 years and the heating side of the system has never worked, it leaked atrociously until I cleaned and unblocked it and it died completely at the tail end of last summer.
I recently used Property Solutions 101 to purchase a property, which they subsequently manage for me. Throughout both processes they have been fantastic. They are honest, know their stuff, communicate well, are down to earth, and work hard for you. You never have to chase them up and they ooze integrity. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
I can not recommend Kylie, Dale and their team enough. We are incredibly happy that we decided to invest money with their impeccable service. Being investors from outside of Newcastle, we were not familiar with the suburbs and most certainly not familiar with what streets within those suburbs were good to invest in. Having an 'insiders' knowledge for us proved to be very valuable and most certainly saved us money in the end. Without Dale and the team, we would have not been able to secure our perfect investment property in a suburb that we originally thought was out of our price range. We can not thank them enough for the time they took (on nurmerous occasions) to understand what we were looking for. Having such a great experience with 101, we are now going to use their property management team to care for our property.

SEE FINAL POST AT BOTTOM 17/6/18 Very poor communication. Have been in rental for one month and have difficulty getting responses to agreed upon expectations. Would not advise using this management as it stands. Much room for improvement. 18/6/18 As of this morning, seems to be some movement on the property issues we have reported but still no communication efforts made by management to us directly. We would like a response and not just a call from a repair person out of the blue. Is that too much to ask? Raising my review to an addition star (3) for at least some movement. 18/6/17 PM Response read below. No, not all requests have been addressed. I sent a list and only a couple have been responded to by way of a very nice handy man, not by your email or call. We will be contacting you tomorrow. Going forward, please contact me directly for future repair work. I am the one with better access to having the house available. Minus 2 star for responding here and not directly to us. 19/6/18 After calling and speaking to original contact for our property, hopefully better communication will ensue regarding property issues. The conversation seemed to be genuine. Will update rating but will continue to look for improvement on their part with regards to responses to the issues reported. 16.10.2018 Update! As of today, all items have now been addressed. I would say that once we began communicating with J, the interactions were much more successful. There were regular updates. Yes, it would have been better if all items had been completed before now, (in the rental 5 months now) but we were willing to continue patiently as long as communication was open, clear, and responsive as to expectations and progress. Looking forward to our stay.....
