The waiters are professional and friendly.......service was great...didnt have to ask for stuff....food was excellent......atmosphere was cool.......all in all.......impressive

It was the worst service possible. The waiters are very unprofessional and need more training. I went with a big party both times and it was the worst experience in a fine dining. I will never return to this establishment again even if it was free.

First I love to Give honest reviews. My sister wanted to try this new spot for her anniversary! The pictures look amazing on social media... Seated, we waited for our server who was taking care of other guests. The manager saw the wait was longer than usual, so she got our drinks then the waiter came over and got our drinks there was no communication. Service is horrible, the waitress was short and abrupt! Food was bland no seasoning! We will just leave it here definitely need work oh and the owner, he was here and didnt even attempt to ask how was everything he just sat in the bar the service sucked!!!!

This place was delicious!! The food was great. I had the chicken and waffles. The waffle was okay but the chicken was AMAZING!! whatever rub they put on it is good. My wife had the French toast (that was sooooooo good) I m not a big French toast eater but OMG!!! Amazing. The service was good. I gave it 4 stars because a table ordered after we ordered and they got their food first. Which one of the meals was the same thing I ordered I wasn t sure how they received their food first. But other than that it was good service. We sat downstairs which is a bit small so it s best to make a reservation. They do have an upstairs too. I don t know how big it is though. Overall I would recommend this place

Horrible horrible first experience. Very unorganized waited over 2 hours for service and still couldn t manage to get a soda. We had a reservation at 5pm it was so unorganized it s was ridiculous. After an hour of sitting we finally flagged down a person to take our order and she prefaced all the things they did not have on the menu which were practically most of the menu. I don t understand how they ran out of food when no one that was seated had been served. Finally I left my party because it was taking too long to get our food. They need customer service, and organization. This business is clearly not being managed well. I will not return to this place my time is valuable.

Celebrated my bday here in June and the hostess including my waitress were BOTH professional, understanding, & patient with my ever growing group! Both ladies went above and beyond to make sure I was happy! I KNOW I was driving them crazy! They continued to service us courteously & with a smile!

Me and my husband decided to try this restaurant for date night this past Saturday and I must admit the service and food was bad. Our waitress took long getting back to us, we ordered the vegetable Alfredo pasta (mine with grilled chicken and his with grilled chicken and shrimp). First the pasta look like the frozen bags of pasta mixes that you get out the grocery store, our chicken was bland and burnt, and they forgot his shrimp. We notified one of the waiters about the shrimp and was assured that they would come out in 2 min but they never came. We wanted to order drinks(liquor) but a waiter took the menu and then told our waitress to came back to get our order. Needless to say she took forever to come back again. Our water tasted funny too. The only good things that I will say is that The Caeser salad I order was delicious and so was the lemon pepper wings. The music inside the restaurant was great! I can tell the owner was of my age (40). I may come back to try the salmon but I won t be back if the service and food is still bad.

The food was fantastic The restaurant itself is super dope. When they said elevator I got excited.. then I saw the lower level. The ambiance. Just wow. Keep it up

The food was excellent!! That atmosphere was phenomenal!! The customer service made me feel like royalty!! Very clean and elegant..I really loved that the owners came out periodically to talk and check on the patrons!! 1st class act and restaurant ..Checking my availability now so I can reserve a date in the near future!!

I ve been to this restaurant a few different times and I must say each time I ve been satisfied. Staffing is genuine and friendly. Food comes out in a timely manner. Always fresh and delicious.

My family and I visited this fine establishment and was thoroughly pleased. The food, service and ambiance were all a10. Their staff was friendly, attentive and we'll informed. My regards to the proprietors: "Job Well Done" .... A special shout it to Chef Maurice, those shrimp & grits we're delectable !! Thank you All for a wonderful dining experience.

Nice atmosphere but small and intimate ..specialty drink taste like water and I'm not a drinker...crab cakes were under cooked...and I was so sick after I swear I had food poisoning ...the steak was over $30 and not to mention I paid $16 for crab cakes...I was racially profiled ....my table was located next to another ethnicity and they received food before my table...then after a 45 min wait I was then told no potatoes that I ordered with my meal...I am very disappointed with the service...staff and food. 5 star prices with 1 star food and service

I usually don t like to write bad reviews for black owned business but the quality of the food and service was horrible. My group of friends and I purchased the brunch buffet and it wasn t even a buffet. We got small sample portions of burned food repeatedly. What they advertised for brunch is not what we received. They advertised chicken and waffles. And they served us burned chicken and an Ego waffle! We only had an hour and 45 min to eat at the table side buffet but it took so long for the food to come out that we didn t have time to taste all the food options. I will not be returning.

The interior is amazingly cozy. It's atmosphere beats any restaurant I've ever been to. Even the seats are extremely comfortable.

The food and service are pretty good too but not perfect. My salmon grilled cheese was pretty good and so were the potatoes, though they were a little overdone. And no tea, or even coffee? That should be remedied quickly.

Still, I very much enjoyed myself, and I would like to try their dinner.

Ordered the crab cakes only received 2 for $14. They were good but not worth the price. The vegetable alfredo was really salty. The stuffed chicken and stuffed salmon were really good probably the best thing we ordered.

First let me start by saying that I know first hand how difficult it is to have a new restaurant, especially a black owned restaurant. I have several friends in different cities who have taken that risky step before. Having said that, I just want to commend the owners on this lovely establishment. The ambiance is sexy, warm and chill. The playlist was on point all night! The food was very flavorful and hearty. Very big portions for the dollar amount. The staff was very welcoming and pleasant. The overall experience was excellent! I m not in St. Louis as often as I d like but I will certainly be back for sure!

I love this place! I love the location, the atmosphere, and the food! I gave 4 stars because they need more servers. The serious great but the wait is a little annoying.

We went to this restaurant to celebrate a promotion, we chose Prime 55 because it was black owned it did not disappoint. The staff took all measures of prevention and were very fast, polite and courteous, we had ceasar salad, crab cakes, grilled corn, stuffed salmon, prime rib, shrimp pasta and cake, it was all very delicious, we visit lost of restaurants and steakhouses this is one of the best, the food was seasoned it was hot and the portions were perfect, we will definitely be going back

Food was really good. The service was amazing. We will come back sometime in the near future for dinner.... The cheesy grits are beyond heavenly. The chef's even came out to visit the patrons. You can tell by the flavor of the food that they care deeply about it.

My first time there to celebrate my son going to the Navy. The grilled lamb chops, potatoes and veggies were delicious! I'll be back again.

They offer healthier menu options and a calm private setting in the lower level. Reserve your tables now. This is not your average restaurant and the prices are reasonable. With a friendly staff and nice drinks, please don't pass this place by. Be patient with parking and enjoy the fine dinning that is offered. Prime 55 is definitely a top-notch establishment with Grade A service and dining. The atmosphere projected an awesome welcoming environment. The menu is an easy read with the perfect amount of items to select from. The staff was very friendly and attentive and the food and drinks sealed the deal. I highly suggest you stop in and enjoy this Jewel of an establishment in the loop!!! I can t wait till my next visit!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience! The entire staff was personable and helpful, even 2 days after their grand opening. We had both steaks, which were so flavorful, and the sides were a perfect complement. This restaurant is exactly what the Loop was missing. I will be back- often!

Home. This place for me feels like home,...the guest hospitality is down-home with a twist of southern comfort. The whole staff is attentive, food and drinks are delicious and the AMBIANCE...W W! the lighting and sounds are PERFECT.

From Indianapolis it was a horrible experience! 1hr 30min wait. Poorly trained staff. Stuffed salmon was terrible.

If you are expecting an upscale restaurant with fancy menu options then this is not the establishment to attend.... however, they do charge fancy prices. My guest and I were expecting to choose from the high-end food selections presented on their online menu but was told that the site was incorrect. In fact, the dinner menu is limited and you re offered the chef s special which is, of course, at the chef s discretion & vary from day-to-day. Nevertheless, we dined at an upscale restaurant having chicken wings and caesar salad. We could ve went anywhere for that. We witnessed other patrons inquiring about the menu discrepancy and a couple abandon their reservation for the very same reason. Very disappointed.

I have never been more impressed by a restaurant. The atmosphere is casual and quaint but the food is exquisite. My steak was cooked to perfection juicy and melted in my mouth. Everything on the menu compliments each other and the lobster fries were decadent and delicious! Recommend to anyone and everyone fantastic!

Kudos to the owners. Always glad to see black owned businesses. It needs some critiquing. Need to offer some bread or crackers to your guest because it takes too long to get your food. However, the shrimp and grits were great!

My family, a party of 9 went here for dinner and we had a great time! Everyone enjoyed themselves, kids and adults! Our service was prompt and welcoming. The food was DELICIOUS! The drinks were large and tasty! Not to mention the manager visited the table to check on our party! Overall a great time and we will be back!
