Penneys is a very affordable Department store in Ireland.
The store located on O'Connell street (next to the G.P.O.) is one of the islands largest.
Assuming you're not shopping for haute couture this is the place for you.

Glad to say it has similar deals as in the UK. Cheap and cheerful shopping but without crazy londoners :)

Good collection of Apparels. The wardrobes are not in high quality but in affordable and budget cost.

You can hardly get cheaper clothes anywhere else. The atmosphere doesn't animate you to stay longer than absolutely necessary, it's typically crowded with young shoppers and families, clothes are piled up, the presentation is very basic, etc.

You can actually make bargains at Penneys. It's cheap but not everything is bad quality. Business shirts for under a 10er last quite a while and don't look bad unless you expect to see logos. The seamless underwear doesn't have to cost more than a few Euro and they last. Baby clothes for few Euro? Yep. Irish sports supporters shirts? Yep, and in most cases cheaper than at Carroll's. Just be aware that Penneys is for the masses and you can easily see various others in clothes you know are from Penneys. If you don't care about status and don't have much to spend - go shopping to Penneys.

Penneys also have household and decoration stuff, towels, bed sheets, duvets, and some bigger shops also toiletries or cooled drinks and food.

You never really know who makes the clothes you buy and if the 100 Euro trouser made its worker more money than the 9 Euro trouser from Penneys.

Penneys is actually Primark. Not as crowded and overflowing as in Germany. Great clean shop, no queues at the coffers.

They don't stock as much variety as they do in Dublin , very messy at times in the shop

Just like Macy s or JC Penney in US. You get everything in clothes, shoes and makeup. Very reasonably priced and sale offers. Got a pair of sneakers for just 3 euros.

I am used to shop at primark in Europe and just found out that it started in Ireland under the name penney's but they couldn't name it that way else where coz of JCPenneys! Anyway, awesome prices, nice collection. You have to be careful though as some of the items you can find in other places for better quality but overall you can find great deals here! Most items I shop for are outer wear, underwear, accessories and makeup remover

Huge mess in ladies section on the ground floor is a standard, men's upstairs much better and in lower ground floor you can find lovely stuff for babies and toddler, young teens as well as lots of seasonal festive stuff, like christmas decorations, trees etc normally there is a luggage department

Located in the center of Dublin near a 'monument' that does not go unnoticed, since it is similar to a spear that rises to the sky. The store is multi-storey, offering excellent opportunities for shopping at cheap prices. You can find clothing, footwear, underwear of discreet quality.

A good Penney's but the one on Mary Street is better

Sizes need to be checked sizes 14 to 16 are like size 10 to 12 seriously who is in charge. Who's the buyer!! Women are curvy these days not skin and bones thats just not natural.

The clothes are good and everything, it s just that the security guards are very rude. I was in there looking at clothes and the security guard kept following me and staring at me. It made my experience in this Penney s very uncomfortable and I hope that there is a change.
