I'm leaving this review after having, to my surprise, noticing there weren't many reviews for Pretty Paws yet, a mobile pet grooming service owned by this fantastic woman named Beth. I'm always recommending them to anyone I know who loves their furbabies! So I may as well put it in a review for all to see!
I used to have two Cavalier King Charles, and I didn't want my babies caged, stressed out, waiting all morning at a storefront groomer. My senior dogs were unfortunately not in the best of heart health, but Beth took the time to deal with me, my fear of grooming them, and all questions I had when I first contacted her. She was incredibly patient with me, and even shared with me several photos of options to have my dogs groomed.
Katie became our groomer, and she was soooo good with our babies. They always were given a grooming report card and always seemed happy after their time with Katie in the van. Otherwise if they were unhappy, they would have come running to me (like they used to at the groomers!), but nope they happily walked their way back up my walkway (leashed) like they were showing off their new cut, with tails wagging. I trusted Katie so much with them, she would take them in one at a time, right in my driveway. Towards the end, I finally took Katie's suggestion to cutting their hair more, which I was always against, only to have realized, I should have listened to her suggestion from the very beginning. They looked amazing! Unfortunately, both of them passed away, two months apart from one another, but thankfully they had great cuts only weeks before each had passed.
What I also liked about Pretty Paws is that the owner takes a lot of pride in this industry, always attending grooming conventions and staying informed with her industry. It showed this was not just a business one throws a label on a van, hire a few kids, and call yourself a business. No, she takes pride in her craft, her groomers are well trained, and she appreciates her clients, both the human and the fourlegged. Thank you Beth and Katie for always taking great care of my boys. I look forward to having another pair eventually again, and we will certainly call you again.
Quick to respond to your call. Usually available within a two week timeframe. Very good with your pets. I have two dogs and they always come out looking fantastic. You can tell they take pride in their work and take care of your pet. Plus the added convenience of coming to you is a enormous bonus
