Inside the theater is an accoustic experience that is sublime. Outside, on the grass during a Summer concert, is perfect for sharing with friends in a beautiful and relaxed atmosphere. The amenities are excellent, the staff courteous and the facilities spotless. Every time I am there I wonder why I don't go more often. It's a real treat to enjoy a place like this and should be high on the list of things to do.

I love this place. We live close by and I take personal pride in having this facility near our home. The quality of sound is amazing and most concerts there have been simply spectacular. We have been to many concerts both in Weill Hall and Schroeder Hall - amazing sound quality.

Unfortunately that was not the case for Diana Ross tonight. Concert started at 7:30 and we left by 8:00. It's 8:30 now and I'm at home in my PJs writing this. The sound engineers set up the systems for a stadium while this is a fine concert hall. You could replicate the experience turning the treble and volume on your system up full and going into your bathroom to listen - everything was horribly distorted. I don't know if it was Diana Ross' entourage that insisted on this or if it was just a poor decision, but we found it an assault on our senses and best to simply leave.

I highly recommend the Green Music Center for most concerts! Everything else we have heard there ( over a dozen concerts) was between "really good" and "great"! I suspect Diana Ross still has her voice from what I heard, but it was really hard to tell with all the distortion. I hope they learn from this experience - although I was in the minority. Most people seemed to stick it out.

I was really looking forward to seeing Boz Scaggs and Robert Cray and I was very dissapointed. I am shocked that they hail this place as some great music center because the view and the sound sucked. It was my first and last event here. You might as well watch a concert on TV because that is all you are getting, and honestly my sound system at home is better than this place.

The options for food and drink were pretty good, but they do not tell you that you can bring your own picnic which tons of people did!!! Had i known they would allow rolling ice chests i would have brought one myself!!! It was like a backyard party with a bunch of strangers who kept talking throughout the performance so it made it even harder to hear the music.

I am no novice at music events and I was really hoping this place would deliver but I was sadly mistaken. I wish I had done what I usually do, get tickets for the show at a better venue...like LBC, or even in the city at one of the many great venues there where you can see the stage and hear the music!! If thelawn seats were free it would be worth it, but they are not. two thumbs down for this venue.

Concert Hall on SSU Campus. Spacey venue outside with seating at table(s) or on grass. Indoor seating at the acoustically spectacular concert hall is comfortable-airy with unobstructed views.

Graduated from Sonoma State and the ceremony was in the Green Music Hall. It was a great place to hold the ceremony and can see it being a very convenient and amazing venue for other concerts and events. It's a large space that will accommodate a lot of people. I can see why the school spent so much on creating it.

Two Lions loves to see shows at this venue. A true gem in Sonoma County. Amazing sound, architecture and event schedule. Plenty of parking, and great seat selection. Male sure to check the schedule, if you're in town!

Such a prestigious concert hall! When I played in Weill Hall with Sonoma County Honor Band, it seemed like we sounded better solely because of the venue. It seats 1400 (I think) and the acoustics are phenomenal. So many iconic musicians and groups have played there, the space itself felt magical. Overall a great experience; I recommend any concert played there.

What a great deal for $25! Gates opened at 4:30. Head to the hillside lawn for a picnic with family or friends. You can bring any food item, drinks you must purchase. You can bring empty water bottles and fill inside for free. At 7:30 PM, the Santa Rosa symphony played, then the Transendence Theatre Company performed, followed by an amazing fireworks display with background music. Incredible show at an inexpensive price!

I have never really liked this place. The chairs are hideously uncomfortable. Can't believe they spent so much money on this place and put in horrible seats.

You cannot bring your own water. It's just like at an airport. They make you dump your water and refill it at a filling station.

You can't bring any water, drinks or food into the center. So, if you get thirsty, you have to get up, walk half a mile to the water fountains, and drink warm water.

No comfort at all while we are there.
