Prelude at The Green Music Center Review

I don't want to go to an event & watch it only on big screen. They need to only use this pretty venue for symphony, & build another venue where you can actually see the performers.

Great venue!! Very comfortable and the acoustics are wonderful.

This amazing concert hall is one of the best. I have preformed here many times, as well as being in the audience. The staff members are very nice and accommodating. I love watching and performing concerts here.

Beautiful venue, visually and acoustically, but hard seats and weird pedestrian access from the parking lot (where cars were navigating through foot traffic) made for a less than perfect experience.

Waste of State resources. One man's dream that morphed out of control. Hijacked project that will never be self sustainable and only serves to feed the egos of the SSU music department. Two beautiful accoustic spaces that will rarely be used for their intended purpose.

The place was well organized except TRYING to leave- 1 star.But The purpose and entertainers 4-5 the sound system was the best eye have ever heard.

What a great place for an event. Not only did we see a great movie but the score was preformed by a live orchestra. We spent a bucks extra and got tickets to a wine tasting pre-func. I highly recommend doing this if you have a chance.
We had a nice table center screen about mid way back. We grabbed another bottle of wine and some snacks for the table. We met another great couple and they ended up buying another bottle at intermission.
The tables were all white linen and the chairs were actually pretty comfortable. The grounds were immaculate, parking was easy in and easy out.
Again, if you find something you're interested in that is playing here, by all means go.

It's a beautiful theater I went there to see my niece sing it had good Acoustics

Beautiful venue yet b/c it's on a college campus the lawn area is way too small - get there super early if you really want to get good seats

Live music (salsa) cocktail and Puerto Rican food, not a lot you can choose from just pastelitos, arros con gandules, mac n cheese outside garden just plain fun.

I dont know how more people arent here every day. Phenomenal location with some amazing tunes

Concert was amazing, fireworks were amazing. Definitely coming back next year.

Concerts on the lawn for $25 during the summer are one of the best values going in Sonoma County.

Very nice venue. The design is contemporary and well laid out. Parking is very convenient, and it's nice that there is a restaurant and bar on site. Docents were great. Acoustics are very good, but at this event, the microphones we're not well modulated. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because of the seating. They use wooden chairs with padded seats. Not very comfortable, but I think that they may be a short-term solution until they can afford more more expensive seating. Overall very good experience. Definitely a venue that Rohnert Park should be proud of.

Tower of Power. Amazing show. They sounded incredible.

A beautiful and acoustically brilliant space for experiencing all kinds of music. The Santa Rosa Symphony, one of the finest in California, is lucky to be able to perform here....and the Green Music Center, one of the premier music halls in America, is lucky to have them here. If you visit Sonoma County for the wine, visit the Green Center for the music. If you live in Sonoma County, LUCKY YOU! Support this extraordinary cultural center. Classical music, pop, Latin, Reggae, rock, jazz; famous name musicians and regional stars.

Beautiful setting, excellent acoustics, world class music

Acoustics were awful here. I saw Tower Power funk band. I guess that really wasnt the venue for that. A very snobbish stock up crowd. I wouldn't go back even if it was free.

The queen diva and her pipes were clear as a bell. Amazing concert with great acoustics. A special alma mater gift of music.

An amazing concert hall with fantastic acoustic. Obviously money was no object! All in gorgeous wood, including the seats. With my wife, we go to the rehearsals as we are too old to stay late at night coming from the Bay Area. Clearly the Center has a big endowment, as each performance we attended had at least 150 musicians on the stage. Great quality music. Worth the trip. In the summer, the back stage is open and one can listen to a concert on a grass multi-level meadow while drinking the fine wines that one brings.

I love going here. But - you should all stay away so I don't have to put up with a lot of happy people and stuff. I love the variety. Last one I went to? Michael McDonald opened by Chaka Khan. It was fun. We, like a lot of folks, picniced on the lawn, had a bit of beer and wine (they sell it there) then - just left our stuff there while we went inside for The show, came back later, after, picked it up for the trip home. Very safe and enjoyable and clean and ... what am I doing? It's horrible - stay away. Hahahaha.

Great place to perform in and also to watch performances

Had the honor to watch my wife's graduation ceremony here. I was unfortunate though and had to sit outside in the rain. I have been here previous for the movie nights SSU has had here. The facility is very nice and the lawn is kept in good condition. I loved the movie nights they had last year!

Enjoyed the 2017 Bluegrass Event & Beer Bash. Our 1st event here.
Very, very well done! Great grass seating outside, just bring short-legged chairs or enjoy a blanket on the lush, gorgeous grass. Food, drinks & water for sale. Plenty of water refill stations for free.
Amazing jumbotron viewing outside. Awesome acoustics inside & out!

The sound in this theater is tremendous! Every artist I've seen perform her comments on how wonderful it is.

Great venue: beautiful architecture, very good sound. Orchestra seating is excellent, and fairly comfortable. Highly recommended.

The Aesthetics match the Acoustics of this gorgeous facility, impeccable and pure. There are no bad seats in the combination indoor outdoor venue. Indoors every seat has a great view of the stage and sound mix while outside people on the lawn get a huge video screen and superb sound. With the weather being nice almost year-round this is a perfect venue for live performances. Ideal for audiophiles and family outings alike.

Elegant wonderful place for an event. I saw Kenny G there. That's right Kenny G. He was terrific. The 80's ate still with us.

My third trip here, once near the front of the orchestra, once on the mezzanine, and now once on the outside grass... Exceptional sound and comfort. The venue is almost as exciting as the performance!

Unfortunately they don't take medical needs of guests into consideration at this venue. Was sad about that. Had to sit outside with my water...

Love going here for events. Wish you were allowed to bring in your own water though. The water bottle filling stations are helpful, but still inconvenient not to allow outside drinks.

I think I had the best time ever music was great sound system was awesome I'm definitely going back for another concert

I have been going to the Green center for the fourth of july the last 4 years and my family has always enjoyed the experience. Sometimes the talent could be better but the symphony is excellent. The fireworks are always amazing! Thanks Green Center. MAW

Grate venue, I have been to a number of performances here and the music sounds very good and there's a large amount of high quality lighting, making light shows possible and done well. This is also the home of the Santa Rosa simfiny and they are great but keep in mind that I have only been to this one

This is a wonderful venue for music. Parking is well organized, the ushers are friendly, the sound quality is excellent.
