Precision electrical Review

I have required the services of a professional electrician twice in the last few years and called Precision both times. Their service is always timely, polite and professional. Both times they ve fixed the problem. They re truly experts in their craft, I wouldn t call anybody else.

I, my husband, and our soon to be here first child would like to say thank you. I'm beyond satisfied with the price, as well as the work. The warrenty is just an added bonus. They got our problems fixed in no time at all. They are very accurate, on time, and professional. If you need electrical work done, I HIGHLY suggest you give this company a call!

A little expensive....but they are willing to work with you some in order to get the job done and done right !! Highly recommended !!

Chris was and always is an outstanding Electrician. He is always polite, courteous, and professional. We have used Precision and always request Chris. He has done a lot of work out here at our house for Precision and I have no complaints at all. I highly recommend him and Precision. His helpers Noah and Daniel were awesome as well. Chris is awesome, knowledgeable and always listens and explains procedures if I do not understand. He always explains what needs to be done and lets us know how much it is going to be and how long it will take to complete. You need more electricians like Chris. I live in Erwin TN.

Representative returned call in a timely manner, approximately 24 hours, and was very polite and informative. The appt. was scheduled for 2 days later, the representative called on that morning and stated the technicians had finished early and would be on their way to my house. They arrived on time and with what they needed for the job. They were pleasant, respectful, quick, and thorough. Would refer without hesitation. Pricing was very fair!

Very pleased with the quick service. I called one day and they came out the next day. Richard and his trainee Noah were very professional, courteous, and friendly. They replaced 3 switches and were done before I knew it. Will use this company again, if the need arises.

After two electricians coming to my home and not being able to identify let alone fix my problem, i called precision; not only did they show up EXACTLY when they said, they identified as well as completely fixed my electrical issues. The price is very modest considering the professionalism this company brings to the table. My house was built in the 50s, and yes things was a little rough, but these guys had my entire houses electrical system working like new! The staff (both that i talked to on the phone, as well as the electricians that came to my house) was very friendly, and professional. These professionals explain what their plan of action is, go over the prices (they charge by the job not the hour), then once you understand in detail and agree to the work, they go straight to work. The atmosphere they created was almsot like having a long time family friend in my house repairing my problems. I dont see how any other companies like this are in buisness. These guys are the absolute best. They are also very animal friendly! Honestly if you guys that came and fixed my electrical issues today are reading this (I'll omit names for privacy) I'd like to thank you again. I can sleep easy tonight knowing my electricity is repaired in full, as well as knowing they back their work with a (i think) 1 year warranty/guarantee. If it was possible, I'd rate them 1000 's!!! No matter your problem, large or small, before calling around (like I did on 2 other occasions, just to have other companies promise to come and not show, (or not respond to any of the times I contacted them) save your self some time; call PRECISION ELECTRIC! Get it done right the first time!

We hired Precision Electric to replace our 3 Phase Power and a 200 amp breaker at Preaching Christ Church in Downtown Kingsport. We were very pleased with the job they did. They were highly professional, courteous and completed the job on time. We highly recommend their services!

Richard and Cody showed up on time and continued working till the work was completed, 9 hours! They each worked very hard and cleaned up their mess and my yard. They both are very professional electricians and I will be glad to notify my friends and family of Precision Electrial's professionalism.

Extremely professional. Very helpful. We have used Precision Electrical for remodeling, replacing light fixtures, panel repairs, outlet and light switch replacements, etc. We have been doing business with them for ten years because we know we can trust them to get the job done.

It's uncommon in this area to find a company as professional and communicative as Precision Electrical. On time, professional service, and just excellent communication through the entirety of the process. It might cost more than your cousin, but trust me, it's worth it.

Don t do it!! They charged $75 bucks to come out to my home in Elizabethton. Thought that was Resonable, responded the next day. BUT when they came out to resolve the issue of a light switch, not working on my 20 year old home, they said they estimated a charge of $200-$300 to tell me what was wrong. WHAT??? Then there would be another charge for labor and materials to fix the issue. WHAT?? My wife rejected the offer to evaluate the issue for several hundred dollars. Sent them on their way. I found another electrician to solve the issue of a defective breaker . I have never heard of anyone charging hundreds of dollars to evaluate an issue, then the repair being a separate charge. Other electrician cost me $95 total, including labor and new breaker. Precision would have been around $500 total. if I had allow them to continue the work. Don t do it! Don t fund their tv commercials. How do you think they pay for these advertisements? YOU pay for them if you use their services. I read a similar review....but discounted it. Wish I would have paid attention before calling them.

They jumped in and helped me put of a very serious jam. I liked that they sent notices by text on times of arrival and it showed the tech that was coming to the house. They were prompt, professional and got the job done in the time they estimated. Good option in our area.

I was so impressed with their work ethics! They were friendly and their attitude to be able to problem solve was amazing! This quality in a business is so rare these days. I was very impressed. They worked efficiently and kept great time management. I would recommend them to anyone! Worth every penny.

Precision Electrical came out to my Apartment to change the power meter. So power went out at 8:00am and the apartment manager told be power would be on by 4pm. Then Precision Electrical told me the power would be on by 9:00pm that night. They said the inspector approved the work and that the power would be turned on by AEP by 9:00pm. Well guess what the power was not turned on by 9:00pm and I called AEP. AEP said Precision Electrical did not put in the work order request in on time for same day service. So my power did not get turned on Until 8:15 the next day. Not sure who to blame all I know is that I lost around $75.00 in Groceries and for a Full time nursing student that is a lot.

Both Richard and his assistant were professional, masked and social distanced respectfully and did a great job.

Technician arrived on time and followed COVID 19 procedures. I received a text and email telling me the name and picture of the technician prior to arrival. All work was priced out on site and I was very impressed with the professionalism of the worker. After to jobs were completed I received an invoice itemizing all work completed. I have used Precision Electrical in the past and will in the future. You can go with a lower priced contractor but if you want the job done right the first time use this company.

You get what pay for. They were courteous, professional, timely, and not the least expensive, but a good value in my opinion.

Andrew was very knowledgeable and he took the time to show and explain the problem, what your options were and what the total cost would be. They worked non stop to get the job done. Very professional. Andrew showed and explained everything they did when finished. Their work was excellent. I will use them again if ever a need arises.

Way too expensive!! $467 to fix a loose wire in a light fixture, look at a ceiling fan and couldn't fix it, and replace 2 smoke detectors! Come on!! I only gave one star because I had to in order to post this.

We had issues with my dads electric outlets with wires pulled out and things missing. (He likes to tinker with things). He had 2 strokes,They made it very simple to get what was needed from me to get this taken care of while he is being hospitalized.
Bobby (rep) replaced what was needed, got the wires in their proper place and didn t break the bank, I was told the exact cost prior to him starting. It is now completely fixed and safe!!!! I would absolutely recommend, use and trust their services again and again!!!!!

The first time they came they charged me $268. But I called them back because their repair failed immediately. The second visit cost $517 and also soon failed. The electrician said they only guarantee the grounding rods they installed. There will be no chance to fail a third time and steal my money. I wasted $785 and will never call Precision Electrical again!

Bobby White, Precision Electric, came this morning in response to our lights and outlets in our master bedroom mysteriously going out. After going over every aspect of our electrical system, he exposed what could be a potentially dangerous situation with an overloaded circuit. He identified everything on the circuit and told us how to prevent overloading until we choose to have a new circuit installed. When we do, we will request Mr. White do the job. I highly recommend Precision Electric for both their technicians and their office staff.

They where 1hr late. They gave me a price of $208 and a price of $700 just to change a 220 outlet to 110 outlet for my stove. That is extremely high. I will make sure my friends and family never use this company. It s highway robbery how expensive they are.

Highly impressed with Precision Electrical!! We called on a Wednesday, they arrived Thursday morning. Between then, we received texts updating us of the status of our job. We will be recommending Precision to everyone we know!

I don't say bad things about a company unless I have to and this company is the exception They are horrible, unprofessional way too much money. And the owners don't respect their own workers nor their customers, money is what they care about and that's it, I hate this company and i would never recommend them for anything! There aren't but three employees who even know what their doing the rest are not good electricians. I should know I'm an electrican. I would never call this expensive company if my house had an electrical fire!!! It all depends on which electrican shows up as to how your house and your electrical work come out. Who wants to leave their electrical to chance?

The receptionist who dealt with our appointment was amazing and was extremely understanding about arranging and rearranging our appointment due to closing conflicts. That being said, the company refused to give out any prices ahead of time or in writing even though they have a chart they use for prices. They make an appointment. Charge you for the visit regardless of if the technician does the work or not. Supposedly you are not charged for any work unless you agree to the charges ahead of time. Unfortunately, the technician verbally told me what the charges would be and had me sign a screen. I did so trusting him. Then I signed for the charges at the end of the visit.
I was charged $1,800 for 5 ceiling fans to be installed and three light fixtures to be installed.
THAT IS INSANE! The two technicians were only at our house for a matter of hours. They never informed me I would be charged for ceiling fan or chandelier ASSEMBLY in addition to the installation charges. And $140 to assemble a light fixture?! Again, that s Highway robbery! If I had been told, I would have done it myself, but I was never told.

My husband and I both spoke to the owners who said they would investigate it. They claim that I consented to all charges ahead of time and therefore will not refund us any money. I even informed them that I have an email in writing stating I never saw ANY INVOICE IN WRITING from the technician until afterwards and they still don t care.

Evidently this is common practice for them. They are nothing but thieves.

And to top it off, our ceiling fans are not even balanced correctly so less than a week later already needed to be fixed. Needless to say I don t want that company back in my house yet they are responsible for their shoddy work.

DO NOT TRUST THEM!!!!

Andrew was great. He always is! Precision Electric is not the cheapest company, however, they are the Best, so that makes them the cheapest in the long run. I love them and wouldn t consider using any other company.

Precision Electrical Company is our choice for all electrical and lighting needs at Kingsport Speedway. On Friday, Aug. 5 we experienced a power at part of our facility during an event. Many of the employees of Precision Electrical Company were in attendance (one even racing) and they immediately began trying to sort out the issue. The company even sent after their bucket truck to get us back going that Friday night. In less and an hour and a half, they had us back going. We highly recommend this great company!

Rich did an excellent job. Very professional, efficient, gave estimate up front, explained everything to me before and after. He even pointed out a couple of possible potential future problems with fuses that I should keep an eye on.
