Ancient barks to Benedictine visited with a guide. Majestic structure, up to its millennial history. A reality that is still vital today thanks to the production of wine, beekeeping and the cultivation of medicinal plants. We were impressed by the restoration of the former cistern, now part of the cellars.

A wonderful union between the sacred, history and territory. Valuable architecture inserted in the splendid setting of the Euganean hills. The monks' herbal teas are excellent, which can be purchased at the local retail store.

Very interesting and fascinating Benedictine monastery, 20-30 minutes by bicycle from Abano terme. I highly recommend attending Sunday mass at 11.00, the function is enlivened by Gregorian chants perfectly performed by Benedictine monks. A wonderful organ stands out on the altar.

The monks take guided tours. The shop is notable both for the health and body preparations (tested) and for the wines (the price / quality ratio is remarkable, especially the whites). Excursion to do.

Beautiful Benedictine abbey close to the Euganean Hills. I've been there a couple of times, the first time on a weekday, where I enjoyed all the solitude and spirituality of the place. The second time on Sunday, with hundreds of parked cars and many hundreds of people visiting. However, the charm of the place does not change. Now, part of the abbey is under renovation, the outside and a couple of cloisters are covered by scaffolding that will disturb the place for some time.

To visit, symbol of a profound religiosity, rich in history, too bad you can't visit the library.
