I had such a great experience getting fitted for new snowboard boots. Matt was extremely knowledgeable and found the perfect boots for my feet. All the employees I interacted with were friendly too which made the process super fun! I d definitely recommend the Powder House and will go back any time I m in the market for new gear.

I've rented ski's here for about thirty years. The staff is always great. The equipment is always good.
Clutch! Brought our skis in for a tune up the night before we needed them and despite being extremely busy, the guys had them ready by 8am the next day.
This place is amazing. I bought my first pair of skies here. I am so happy I did. The people really help you. They are great price too. When I need new skies I will definitely go here. I was even better than some Utah skier shops. So when I up at my boyfriends cabin again I will stop here for more ski gear.
So I realize they are busy, but you really don't have to be a Dbag when new people don't know what you are talking about, otherwise solid equipment, and very reasonable pricing.

This place is great! They rent paddle boards and all kinds of other river equipment, even after peak season ends and many others have stopped renting. Staff is super helpful and prices are reasonable. They also have used demo skiis for sale.
My family and I are getting back into skiing. I needed new boots and the Powder House was my second stop. The selection was good and the prices were fair. What really made my stop a 5 star experience was the staff. They were busy, but still managed to be helpful. Tor helped me with my boot selection and spent at least 30 minutes with me answering all my questions while fitting me with a new pair of boots. He didn't try to over sell me either. He actually listened to all my requirements and narrowed the options down to two sets. I very happy with my new purchase.
I was racing in Masters race the next day and the pro shop put a race wax on my super G skis while I waited, great job!
No time for customers. Falsely states inventory on hand. And generally operate with an arrogant attitude. Can't recommend at all. Response to owner: I was not looking to try on a boot. I was only looking to find out if you carried a particular boot. The employee I asked was not helpful and dismissive, in addition to actually telling me you carried something you don't. Not the first time I have had an experience like this at your business.
Great local shop. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Awesome boot fitters. The only improvement would be if they carried some indie brands (e.g., ON3P).
Friendly staff on our visit. They were crazy busy and we got friendly good service.
Rented snowboard and boots. I wear a size 10-10.5 in street shoes. The tech said I needed 9's to give me more control of the board. Long story short, I had to quit boarding after 1/2 a day and feel like both my big toenails are going to fall off. My try a more knowledgeable rental place. Update- The owner called me personally and apologized for my experience and offered me a full refund for my rental and a credit for my next rental. Really says a lot about an owner and his business to reach out to make things right.
Currently they are remodeling for the end if the season. There is not too much clothing or equipment left. During the ski season, they have a lot of ski and cold weather items.
Not a big selection but a good location and nice patio furniture in Summer.

40+ years of service, friendly and knowledgeable, with service for the expert to the novice downhill, nordic, or cross country skier.
New to town, wanted to support a local shop. Went to a couple other places first and couldn't get service. Walked in here, despite being busy I quickly recieved knowledgeable service and they took the time to help be get exactly what I needed.
This shop is full of pompus posers, especially the ski shop, their selection is terrible, and the over all store is straight out of the 80s. Put it this way I needed 1 nylon strap for my pole, they had a bucket full of them, and they were going to charge me $10...yeah right. Skeejers ski shop is head and shoulders better selection and gave me a free strap. Please never go to powderhouse.

Great place to get your ski boots. I'm not an easy customer at all when it comes to ski stuff, but Kyle happily helped me find the right boot for over two hours. Or at least hid his annoyance well :) The important thing is they got me in the right boot and back on the mountain by the next good snow day.
There end of winter sales are great good stuff at great prices and good people to work with makes this a great place.
Super helpful staff. Helped me find ski socks and Hot Chili's for my five year old. Good selection of ski boots, skis and clothing for our whole family. We also were able to rent skis and gear.

Got molded intuition liners and boot fitting done. They're patient, informative, and do whatever is needed to make your ski boots comfortable with performance. The boot fitters seem very well trained and experienced. They also have "cute sweaters" for my wife and a great gear selection for skiing and snowboarding.
Pretty high priced, told me snopasses were $5 when they were really $6, small thing but I had to borrow money from my friends for it.

Cannot recommend this place enough. Winter or Summer, rental or purchase (and Amazing Patio Furniture). If you need ski/snowboard boots GO HERE. Fantastic experiences with their expert boot fitters that really work hard to make sure you are getting the right fit for your alpine adventures. I have challenging feet - and have skied uncomfortably for years - I now have virtual "bedroom slippers" thanks to the staff here.
Really friendly staff and they always have enough of them! This place gets really busy around 5 but they're quick to get to every customer. Great customer service and you get a discount on rentals if you bring your last receipt in!
Andy did a great job of asking me questions about my ability and plans, explained the options for my snowboard boot purchase, measured carefully, and then came up with multiple good choices for me to consider.
This place was super convenient, very helpful and a good value. Our family rented rafts for the afternoon to float on the river. The staff was patient and helpful with our large family. We will be back!

Convinced my friend to get one boot size too small, which made it hard for him to ski. They were rude when we mentioned the result of the bad advice. Next time I will have friends rent at Mt Bachelor instead. --- Update overhead someone else who rented the wrong size skiboots there. Do they run out of sizes and convince people to get the wrong size?

Awesome ski shop! Great customer service, the absolute best boot fitters, and good prices, much nicer than up at the mountain FYI. Love that it's on the way to Mt.Bachelor. Have gotten skis waxed and tuned countless times here. The hours are perfect too; open before and after the mountain. HIGHLY RECOMMEND here. Best place for all levels of skiers and snowboarders and especially for VISITORS.

Powder House is the best ski shop in Bend. I thought I could save money by buying ski boots on Pro Form. However, they broke through an act of god. Andy a Sales Rep at Powder House still took care of me. He worked with the manufacturer to get me new boots in under 24 hours. No amount of savings is worth the cost of not having customer service. I will only shop at Powder House for ski gear in Bend.
The Powder House is fantastic! The owner's and staff are quite knowledgeable and helpful. My family has been renting skis and snowboards from the Powder House for more than 15 years. I highly recommend using the Powder House whether you are renting skis or need ski or snowboarding apparel.
