Their spicy fried pork chop sandwich (lunch menu) is an original and one of my favorite sammies around. Good luck finishing it! Post 390: props for your original takes and creating a cozy, comforting place.

Ambiance was the only thing this place had going for it. They claim to be upscale, yet our server was wearing worn vans. Salmon was over-seared. All of the food was very salty. Something was swimming in my wine, and when I took it back, there was no apology, discount provided, or offer to exchange for a new bottle. As much as I would like to give them a second try, the food was not worth the price.
We went for dine out Boston and had a fantastic meal there. Highly recommended if you can make it for restaurant week, as it can be fairly pricey otherwise.
Trendy restaurant with fresh seafood (including clams/mussels/etc). The service is very, very slow and not attentive at all. Pros: - The group I was with all enjoyed the food - Salty topped dinner rolls were amazing - Great wine and cocktail selection - Fresh seafood was very good with perfect garnishes - bathrooms were clean - offered bag/coat check - front staff was very friendly
Cons: - The cost of some dishes were ridiculous for what you actually received - Many portions were tiny, we had to order quite a bit to fill up - their prices reflect the area they are in, not necessarily what you get from it - The serving staff was, at best, indifferent. They weren't friendly when you walked around, mostly ignoring their customers - Getting drinks took over 20 minutes and continues to be as slow after
It was incredibly easy to get a reservation using open table. The waitstaff was sub par. They would not split our check this was not cool as we were all traveling for business and need to submit individual reimbursement receipts. Upon exiting, they could not identify our checked coats. I did not reciew the menu ahead of time; rather, I booked a reservation out of extreme hunger the google rating, and availability. The menu is largely French inspired with a local food flare - everything I ordered (three items from the appetizer menu and a dessert) was well balanced in flavor. I d say overpriced for the flavor.
Great atmosphere. Never come here for just desert. My coffee came immediately, and was served professionally, but my dessert took over half an hour. As I was walking out it finally arrived. I was puzzled and pissed as my server was not in the weeds. It was a bad end to my date.
One of the longest and inattentive dinners I've had in a while. Our appetizer came almost an hour after we were seated and wasn't even correct. Should have known at this point we were in for extremely slow service. Food was mediocre to unfortunate. Our waiter was kind when we saw him and the ambiance was nice. But, of all the Copley/Back Bay restaurants available - don't go to this one.
Great vibe, great food and excellent wine and beer menu. Only complaint was the Mexican corn: they only dress 2/3 of the ear and left all the leaves on the corn. It was pretty but a total pain to eat.
It was a pretty nice place the appetizers were very good to eat desserts were wonderful the main course was OK nothing terribly exciting. The servings were good and the staff very attentive
I was there for a work event. Not sure if it's different on a normal night, but the food was fantastic and the drinks were excellent! I would definitely try again on my own.
New Year's Eve Fixed Menu- Venison Tartare with Quail Yolks- a MUST try for those who appreciate a creative mix of flavors and dare to go with a non-standard choice to start off your dining journey- DELICIOUS....entrees were good but not overly impressive for the price......beautiful decor and exceptional service....
The service was wonderful. The food was good but, overall I just didn't really like it. It makes no sense other than the vibe just didn't suit me. Perhaps it's because we ate upstairs versus downstairs, which seemed more relaxed.
