Cozy place with good service and great food. I had the filet and it's the best cut I've had in about a year. Chocolate cake for dessert was super dark and delicious.

I was at an event with my son and mainly adults. The staff was friendly and didn t make my son feel out of place. They made sure to check with him and accommodate to his needs. I enjoyed the food and the environment
Great place that has it all--atmosphere, awesome food, good service. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed
I attend a holiday party here this week. The party was located in a room off the main dining area. The entree (beef) was excellent and so was the service. However, the room temperature detracted somewhat from the experience. Throughout the course of the evening, it was a constant battle between heat from the gas fireplace and the AC. Somewhat unfortunate.
Great food and drinks, causal or nicer dining depending on the floor.
Great food, solid service. We had a group dinner in the back room, it was a bit tight but worked out well.
Whole red snapper grilled. So tasty. Like this place a lot. Will definitely be back.
Service was friendly and attentive. Ok wine list but better beer selection. The atmosphere is nice and offers two floors with a bar on each. The food is good with a wide range of options to give most people something to pick from.
Amazing rolls. Venison tartare and scallops were perfect. Definitely get the baked alaska!
I dine here a few times a year and always have an interesting experience. The banana cream pie is amazing.
Ambitious, upscale menus with a kitchen that isn't quite up to the challenge. Stick to the comfort food in the downstairs tavern.
Love both the brunch and dinner selection at Post 390!
I had the Lexington Brewery, Barrel Aged beer, Mixed Baby Lettuces for my appetizer, the Nantucket Sea Scallops for my main and the Frozen Margarita Pie for my dessert. Everything was fantastic and the service was equally as good. The flavors were exceptionally prominent and well balanced in everything I had. I can't get the risotto out of my head... Well done guys!
One of those places where I wanted to just order the whole menu and have done, as it all looked excellent.
Tried 5 smaller dishes with my wife and a friend and everything and the food was creative but successful all over.
Definitely hope to eat/drink there again.
Very friendly, but below average service and terribly overcooked Korean Chicken that was not unlike KFC with a side of dipping sauce from a bottle
This all in an exquisite setting.
Fantastic fries and I always love the eggplant sandwich. Good place for lunch.
The food here is fantastic. The atmosphere(especially in the cold months) is light and warm. They have multiple fire places and the bar area is very cozy. The service/kitchen can be a little slow however but as long as you're not in a rush, I would recommend it.
I had brunch here with my family. The restaurant was fairly quiet and slow. The food was great but the service was slow and it took forever for the food to come out. I would have given this a 3 but the quality of the food swayed me to a 4.
Good selection on the menu, especially the seafood. Lovely selection of wines. Very attentive staff.
Cool vibe from this place which was packed on a weeknight. Great location in downtown Boston.
Comfortable, upscale atmosphere, service was very good, food was excellent. Food was worth the high price.
Atmosphere is the restaurant. It is usually cheaper than other restaurants. 1 appetizer, 2 mains, $ 100 (tip included) I ordered the server is not a Korean person, thank you for the details of the menu explanation. I had dessert but I could not eat it.
Came to Post 390 during restaurant week with cousins. I really like environment upstairs and especially the view. The quality of the food was really really good. I had a very good experience there.
One of my regular spots when visiting Boston. Good drink selection and great food!
Excellent food and ambience. The crab cake and scallaps were amazing.
Excellent food and service. perfect for a large birthday dinner.
Good service , average food quality. Ordered the duck special and it was a bit dried out. Good selection of beers.
Lobster was overcook, AMD swimming in sauce with only 3 gnocchi, $48 then ordered a unique cookie for dessert, got a hard chocolate chip cookie, nothing like the ginger, lemon snicker doodle we ordered. No apology from the wait staff and we still got charged for it.
Upscale bar serving fancy comfort food, with huge windows looking out onto the street. It definitely runs the risk of being a little anonymous, but there are a few of nice touches that rescue it - including the fresh, crusty bread served in a paper bag, and the onsite smoker with a menu that rotates throughout the week.
High end steakhouse and seafood restaurant in a nice setting on two levels with an extensive wine list and some rare beers. Challenging for vegans and vegetarians but the sides are good.
For a place with so many fish dishes, you'd expect that they could cook salmon properly. Terribly lackluster service, as well.
Best place to eat in the Back Bay, hands down. Service and atmosphere all thumbs up. Great beer selection, and Raw bar items to die for.
Was here for a dinner event. Nice space and feel to the place. Food was excellent, especially considering we were a party of 25. I'll be back
Food was slightly above average for the price. Upstairs seating was a good atmosphere for a Tuesday night.
Chris gave us amazing service! He is top! Ask for him. Great recommendations on food and drinks! I'm from Montreal and do know chowder, but I loved what I ate, I had 2 bowls. Beef was on point! Amazing
Stopped in for a glass of wine. Bar was comfortable. Did not get food so can't speak to that.
The best chicken we ever had. Only positive impretion.
This was a great choice for a small bday surprise. Waiters were polite, just a little wait but the food was served all at the same time and the flavor of all the food was on point.
Really, don't bother. Excellent example of the finest of airline food. Chicken great. Salmon and pork way below expectations. Service amateurish for the size of the check. Somm v good. Fun finds on list. But wouldn't go back.
Very good food and service. Quiet enough for business discussions. Limited vegetarian options
pure age discrimination, my wife s grandmother has a bad hip and shoulder. She spent some extra time in the bathroom as it takes her some time and the manager came ove and denied her a drink and said she would not serve her. Although I like this pace and am a regular with a local company, we will not be going here anymore.
Good atmosphere and eclectic menu. Visited from out of town and good meal overall
Amazing brunch, large portions, attentive and polite service and a great atmosphere. Also has a very cozy fireplace. Tad pricey but worth the price for the quality.
Some of the best food I have had in Boston! Highly recommended.
Great food and drinks. Fantastic American rye and bourbon selection.
Nice ambiance and servers! The servers work as a group, which is interesting but can lead to you getting asked the same questions many times, or no-one looking at your table for a long time, depending on your luck.
The drinks were good, but a bit too sweet for our taste. One of the drinks had an extremely sticky glass which was a bit annoying.
The food (we mostly had snacks) was quite good with good portions.
The food was excellent but the service was the worst I've seen to date. Sooo painfully slow.
Dinner was great but those dinner rolls though... always ask for more!
I give 1 star because there is not less than that. Just got back from this place...... I paid $170 bill in two persons for a very bad dinner (on Saturday!!). Food tastes bad and the service was terrible including the "home made" ice-cream served in clear jar..... please next time buy it from the store on the corner.
The only good things.... beer and wine....of course not made by them.
Totally waist of money.....do not go there!
The service was excellent, the presentation was great, the food was average. The building has a nice ambiance.
The worst experience ever! I have been to this restaurant many times over the past 2 years and the service we received today was the worst! We went here for a business lunch and the restaurant was barely occupied but it took 15+ minutes just for our server to acknowledge us and bring water. After ordering drinks, after another 15+ minutes, we had to request them to be brought to the table.
We also ordered bread, which they also didn't bring until we had to ask for again and then they only brought 1 loaf when we had requested two. The girl who waited on us began to give us attitude and we had to bring this up with once of the hostesses.
After this, her responses were snide. I brought home left overs and there was a hair in the food! We spent alot of money but doubt we would go back. Beyond disappointing!
Celebrated a friend's birthday here with drinks and dessert after an ear-splitting dinner at nearby Red Lantern (see review). Post was a welcome respite - relaxing, cozy and friendly environment with top-notch service. Wide variety of desserts - from the usual creme brulee to rich cakes and fun sundaes. Great portion sizes and excellent cocktail and liquor offerings. Perfect ending to a wonderful evening.
The Salmon was fabulous and the service was spot on..
Good selection of beer and spirits. Two menus available in the bar not sure if both are available upstairs in the dining room. Tavern menu very reasonably priced
Food and service was great. Good, cozy, and trendy atmosphere
Always a good meal here. The "farm to post" theme they ran at the time of my last visit had some great options. Staff was attentive and accommodating to our needs. The drink selection (scotch and beer) is decent and makes for this being a nice stop after work.
Tasty food (we had brunch), but the service was quite slow - we had to keep trying to get the servers' attention to get things.
I am really not sure why this place is so busy. I have been here twice now and the food is mediocre at best. Charcuterie and Cheese tastes like it comes out of a package/ can. I wish I was being facetious. We wanted to give it another chance so I ordered the poke bowl and a side of Brussels sprouts and it just got worse. Veggies weren t cooked all the way through with terrible sauce and the Poke was fine...
Best filet in the neighborhood. Great Manhattan and the bartenders are very friendly
First rate restaurant. Excellent food and service. Nice bustling city atmosphere.
Trendy place. The food is good but the addition is expensive. The service is good and the waiters friendly
The food is excellent. Very pricey but very excellent. They get two stars for customer service though. I submitted my receipt to have my post rewards added retroactively to my post rewards card. It's been months and the points have yet to be credited. Very disappointed.
We were treated very poorly by staff and management
In the mood for trying great wine and delicious food?, Post390 got you!
