My absolute, hands down, favorite way to spend a Saturday night, a Timbers game is an atmosphere like no other. It's the beautiful game and the camaraderie of the Timbers Army, singing, jumping, clapping, flag-waving, and just giving our all for our boys, win or lose. I challenge you to attend one game, sit (well, stand, actually) in the North End, and not fall in love with the Timbers!

What can I say... It's one of the most electric venues in the MLS (not to mention the Thorns and other events). There is a wide variety of quality concessions for a reasonable stadium price. Given the rich history comes very little leg room. Chances are, you'll be standing anyway. The atmosphere will get even more intense when they finish the Eastside expansion next year. The only downside is parking. TAKE THE MAX! I can't emphasize this enough. Parking is few and far between and will cost you a small fortune. There is a stop across from the gates.

Providence park is a great place to go watch Thorns or Timbers games. Parking is hard, so it's best to leave early but the max also takes you right in front of the stadium. Its super fun to walk around at half time and get something to eat, but there are long lines. Thorns games are a blast and are one of the most fun things to do in Portland.

My daughter has new season tickets this year in the Tanner section which was absolutely amazing for the Thorns game tonight. The stadium the staff couldn't be more accommodating not one complaint

This is a great venue in downtown Portland. I can't imagine a venue that could be much better. We were there to watch a womens pro soccer match between the Portland Thorns and the Seattle Reign. It was an electric environment. This venue felt safe, it was clean and it was located right next to the light rail line.

What a cool atmosphere. The multiple vendors inside so you can get different types of food and beer and drinks and alcohol. The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking with really good seats and fantastic views. Obviously, when you go with really good friends it makes such a big difference. I found the tickets are very affordable and the staff of rolls very friendly. When he gets packed, just like any other venue, I can get a little crazy.

In all fairness, I was sitting in Tanner Ridge. Food options were incredible, views were insanely great, our team won, and I think the free hamburger and hotdog policy is a stadium gluttons wet dream come true. Close and far enough from the army to feel like part of the action, but minus the headaches from the drumming.

Besides being a great new MLS team the timbers have helped create a focal point for the city to coalesce around. Unlike other sports franchises, the Timbers have allowed many in Portland to enjoy a common source of entertainment and city pride.

Nice enough stadium. Getting around before game time can be tough - too many people trying to fit through too-narrow passageways. That's the downside. The upside is that's a good stadium for watching Soccer. The food is generally not great and is expensive. I can say the same about every sports stadium I've to which I've ever visited. It just is what it is.

I miss the days of watching baseball here, but those are now long gone. Soccer it is for this place, and it's good soccer in a nice venue with easy access from the train. I go to 10+ games every year and enjoy it every time I go.

Amazing stadium, but horrible response time to emergencies. My husband was in immediate need of medical attention, and it took four different staff members to get help. The first three couldn't even tell me where the first aid area was located or knew how to get ahold of medical personal. For the safety of fans, it shouldn't take over ten minutes to receive medical attention.
