It's difficult to tell whether or not this outdoor arena is as great as it feels or if the Portland Timbers games are just that much fun, regardless of where they play. However, I used to frequent the park before the Timbers existed, when it was where the Portland Beavers played minor league baseball. And even then it was an excellent place that offered such a great atmosphere, we'd forget we were watching minors.

It's gotten some upgrades since then and along with the Timbers, this place is a haven. One of the most exciting places to see sporting events.

It's now a place that American soccer fans should experience, like the Wrigley field of baseball or the The Swamp at the University of Florida (in their prime).

I ve been here twice, for a Thorns game and a Timbers Game. It s very fun and although pricey, worth the price. If I bought way in advance I would ve got a better deal. There s no parking anywhere close so plan to walk a lot. The beer is overpriced as hell so come quenched.

As long as you don't get stuck behind a post this is a awesome stadium, the beer is just as overpriced as anywhere else, I miss before they were pro and the beer was cheaper and the tickets were less, but all in all good bang for your sporting buck.

It's an awesome Providence Park Stadium, building bigger, seating more capacity for the dedicated fans for The Portland Timbers Soccer, Portland Thorns Soccer, Portland State University Mens/Womans Sporting Event's. Providence Field has a big bill board at front entrance of Stadium for upcoming events. The Max-Train is a convenient way to travel to the stadium drop you off adjacent to the stadium. It's cool on the Max-Train during Timbers home games, dedicated fans are all in green or red Timbers attire! The stadium grounds are safe by stadium security, it's clean, plenty of stadium vendors surround the inner stadium! All I've got more to say is you gotta see Providence Field, it's a welcoming venture!

Easy to get in and out as well as watch a game, but parking and beer pricing could improve. Also wish you could walk all the way around inside the park on both ends. Makes what should be a 2 to 3 minute walk in to 5 to 10 minutes in some places.

The excellent remodel of Providence Park has been matched by the addition of some excellent food vendors. Of course they have standard stadium food and are not raising prices this year as a thank you to fans for their patience during the remodel. Bring the kids and enjoy face painting and autograph opportunities.

Love the Timbers and the new expansion. The price of beer is to high, but even worse is the food. I bought a Philly cheese steak that was only bun. No cheese and no steak. It was like $11. This should be illegal. Eat and drink before the game. They should be ashamed.
