I've been here to watch Timber soccer games. It's a great Stadium but not too large which makes it just right for Portland.

Great, but expensive stadium with kind of rude staff. I think most of the staff have no idea they are being rude, which is so authentically Portland it s kinda cute.
GA is fine if you like standing, or just sit way in the back. Thorns game are the same as the Timbers and WAY cheaper. People are friendly, lots of polite kiddos running around.
I recommend section 218, the obstruction isn t terrible.
Found a great vegan option and plenty of great beer!
The Best Soccer Experience in the World. Stand in the Army for the full effect of this atmosphere.
If you like Soccer, this is an excellent place. They sell snacks, beer and products from the Timbers / Torns. Parking is only on the street if you need to go look for a parking lot in a big place like the Lloyd Center and go to the Tri Met. They do not sell food so eat before you go.
Great stadium with the new expansion- must see one match! Go Timbers
Amazing atmosphere. I've been to a few matches here and every time I walk away feeling energized. Concessions are reasonable priced, crowded at times, but overall there's a ton of selection and facilities are good.
It's the home of THE TIMBERS, yeah! It's also $10.50 for a beer......booooo!
Lots of sentences and exits. Great place to watch soccer.
Home of the Timbers, 2015 MLS Champs! A great old park with some solid modern upgrades, including concessions from local restaurants and food carts. Be sure to check out the Double Post for a great selection of craft beers during game time. RCTID!
No parking for people missed half of the game trying to find one and i lived here all my life...i can only imagine first timers and tourists would do.
We went for a Portland Thorns game it was great and family friendly.
fan chant was spectacular. Timbers supporters are crazy
Watched a thorns match, great atmosphere, amazing crowd!
It's old and the bathrooms are too small but it more than makes up for it with heart. RCTID.
Flew in from Minnesota for a game and I couldn't have asked to be made more welcome. Great game, best for options The Timbers Army was energized, friendly welcomed us with open arms
I come for the thorns games. Excellent venue, good food, easy to get to.
Excellent venue. Food, drinks and great seating - not enuf tho. They are expanding! Parking is difficult - recommend Uber, Lyft or street car. Walking distance to outside bars, food and grocery.
Amazing atmosphere to watch a timbers game! Love the venue.
The food court it's very small however and gets crowded very quick and the lines move slow.
Best place to watch the best team in town! Just wish they'd host concerts in the summer.
Even the professional players deserve a water break! Great place to watch the Thorns and Timbers matches!
Like most people I have a love hate relationship with Providence Park.
Important stuff: parking is frustrating amd even moreso now that they have new "special event" zone restrictions.
Areas that say 4hours are reduced to 2 hours during games. Yes that actually means that the pay to park machines update automatically and you can't reserve a spot for a whole game. And yes there are police in these little traffic carts giving tickets. Fair warning.
Those church parking lots are also restricted to no event parking even the ones that have a party to park option
I have been successfully employed at Providence Park for going on 7 years now. I love and enjoy all of my Supervisors and fellow employees and all of my fans. One of the greayest places I've ever worked. Everyone treats you with respect!
Old school charm and some of the best amenities available.
Excellent stadium. Great seats, quality food and beer.
Go to see the best Soccer in the world. The Thorns are top notch. Christine Sinclair is a joy to watch.
Providence park home of the portland timbers, great atmosphere and great seating and a beautiful stadium and good food and drinks always a must go when timbers are home
It's a good place I suppose but if people helped keep the places they visit cleaner quality biz would go up & so would the quality of everything involved would most likely go up as well.
Perfect blend of a vintage landmark and modern updates. The new addition and finishings are remarkable. Very well done. My only complaint is there's no reason for a beer to cost $10 or a burrito to cost $12. I just don't get the gouging that occurs here.
We saw the Portland Thorns play in the NWSL semi-final last year. What a perfect venue for Portland. If only we had something similar in Seattle to support the Reign!
Staff very helpful and a wonderful venue but a 12 ounce draft beer is 10.50
First time game in Portland for the Timbers FC vs LA Galaxy game. We won tickets from Uber for the All Star Driver. We had a great Timbers FC experience as well got the behind-the-scenes tour of the stadium, and pic with Joey. We received Timbers merchandise and free concessions at the June 2 match. Super ^_^ :)
Amazing stadium. My daughter loves Tobin Heath who we ran into outside of the park TOTAL class act. You made my daughters day.
It was alright. Enjoyed happy hour get prices before game started.
Go Timbers! Go Thorns! Friendly crowd, excellent cider and food selection, easy access
It was better when the Beavers were here :(
Still a very nice park, the atmosphere is incredible. The food varies quite a bit in quality, but overall it's good. One big plus is the stadium is small so you can see pretty well from almost any seat.
First time I've ever seen professional sports. Really great people watching. MAX really close and not too crowded.
Seriously, do not buy beer here! Boycott the atrociously expensive concessions. What's the deal front office? Take a note from Atlanta, they made more money by not strong arming their supporters.
Went there for the 2012 Galaxy v. Timbers away trip. Not the best atmosphere on the day but that likely had more to do with the game than the fans. Everyone seemed involved and genuinely invested in the match and you really can't ask for much more than that. Security was a little questionable for away fans but at this point in MLS that's to be expected. Would definitely recommend for anyone to visit away.
Go TIMBERS! ... The stadium needs better food, better door traffic flow, better beer.
This stadium has a great atmosphere and the fans definitely help make is special...even for a visiting fan from Houston.
Very fun atmosphere to watch a game! The Timbers army makes it a unique experience. Good food options, ok beer selection.
Multi purpose stadium. Lovely place for a Timbers game. RCTID
Home of the Timbers and the Timbers Army, the best supporters in America...what else is there to say?
A Timbers game is more of an experience. If you've never seen a soccer game live, you're in for a treat. If you have...you probably haven't experienced one like this.
I work the concession booth at the games. We want everyone to have a great experience when they visit the park.
Very nice and always great to see games live rather than watching on tv.
I was doing a job for a company and contacted them to get photos of the new expansion for a customer of mine. They were quick to respond and set me up with staff to get photos of the expansion and field. I have also been here for multiple events and always enjoy catching a timber/thorns game there.
Excellent location to watch the Sounders beat the Timbers!
