I enjoy seeing shows at the Armory. The theater is not too big, so there isn't a bad seat. Each of the productions I've seen here have been great. Not big budget productions by any means, but smartly done and very entertaining. The building and decoration are also quite nice. It's one of those places where you take out your phone and snap a few pictures while waiting for the theater to open or the show to start, just because its that interesting.

They have a fabulous setup here... you can even preorder your intermission drinks which i think is the best idea ever. The play (Pride & Prejudice) was fabulous. I laughed myself to tears, it was a splendid production the actors did an amazing job.

My husband and I were married at the Armory and have been attending the main stage shows since. We have been paid members for 6 seasons with the under 35 years old discount tickets package (best deal ever). We always leave perfornaces feeling like we saw something of high quality and entertaining. The performances always meet our expectations. Not to mention the facility is beautiful. Close to public transit!

I have seen two productions here and both have exceeded my expectations. There is good reason why it's considered one of the best theaters in Oregon, hands down.

Also, the building is stunning inside and out.

The Portland Center Stage presents plays that are very thoughtful and always worth seeing. I have seen most of the productions put on there over the last decade (and several rehearsals). The amount of attention to detail that they give their plays is amazing.

Such a great space. Information desk was able to assist me quickly and with a smile. You will be surrounded by beautiful art work, from local artists. The theater room we were in was decorated nicely and had good sound throughout.

The venue-both inside the theaters and outside in the LEED-certified lobby-is GORGEOUS. I love that you can go early and have some food upstairs or some cocktails pre-show. The staff clearly believes in their mission because it shows in their friendly, efficient service. Every time I'm there-whether seeing a show downstairs in the black box theater, watching a big-spectacle show, or even watching a film screening, I'm always entertained and happy I went. Good on you, PCS!! Keep it up.

The services, staff and venue are all top notch. The curation of works that come through are really great.

In all the times I've been, everything has been really great and well done. They have snacks and adult libations.

Seating is a little tight but this is very common for venues like this. The facility is modern, classy and has character.

This venue is very near and dear to me, lots of fantastic artists, please treat it and the people with utmost respect!

This theater is amazing. Absolutely beautiful venue and a wonderful variety of top-notch plays; there is something for everyone here. We have seen a few shows here and are in awe everytime. Comfortable seating in a magical environment. Convenient parking garage and a great location to see a show and then walk over to your restaurant or coffee shop of choice. Also there are ecclectic stores nearby to peruse. It amazes me that each show we see here feels like stepping into a different world.

Love this place, and the cast. The stage and set are always amazingly done. The actors are friendly, good at improv when things go cockeyed (as they always do in the Theatre) in a way that pleases the audience. And I'm talking about "Sense and Sensibility". If you get the chance to see anything here, go for it. My family has season tickets.

Maybe I didn't understand the interje tion of humor during the representation of such a horrific time in our history, not to mention the domestic violence portrayed. We have been season ticket holders for some time and I honestly don't ever remember a production where the actors forgot their lines so many times. It is unfortunate be ause the story needed to be told.

Beautiful venue. Looking forward to coming again for more shows/concerts. Particularly love that they have honor system coffee and cookies available so that the intermission lines are only for the alcoholic beverages: this is exceptionally sensible. The rake in the orchestra seating is wonderful: good sight lines even with an elevated hairstyle on the person sitting in front of me! Stage appears to have full features although it is not large. Very good sound system. High quality operation.

I have enjoyed every show I have seen at the Armory. This is because of the ambiance of the stone building, the modern but natural style of the interior, the comfortable seats and mostly the excellent quality of the Plays that they bring in. Just saw "The Color Purple" with my wife and 17 yr old daughter and we all loved it.

Portland's premiere live theater company. It's always fun to come to the Armory and see a show. The venue is lovely and PCS crafts each show with great artistry and attention to detail. They draw on some great local talent as well as high profile actors from across the country. They often have great deals on shows, so it's not just for rich folks!

Loved it. If you are downtown and looking for Somethjng to do, leftover seats are 20 bucks 30 min before the show starts. Saw Othello. But you can't beat 20 dollar tickets 15 min before the show starts.

The space feels modern, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the variety of play and events at the theater capture a wide audience in Portland. We go to mutiple plays a year and enjoy the talented professionals that bring quality theater to our city. The free community events are a great way to get a feel for the theater before seeing a show.
