You all recently took over The Wylde. I lived in this community for a while. The first 90-days of how it's been managed is disappointing. PMR isn't off to a positive start. Everything from management, communication and cleanliness is a complete downgrade from what this property has had in the past.

On April 1, 2021, the manager who was introduced on our resident welcome letter was present, but two weeks later she was ghost. Were residents notified of the change? NO! The communication is unprofessional. Not one email, community text or newsletter was sent or posted informing residents of the change.

April 16, 2021 the water was turned off WITHOUT informing residents prior. I remember it was turned off before 9:30am and residents weren't notified until 11:08am via text. Why couldn't the property manager notify residents prior to having the company shut it off? The water wasn't turned back on until after 10:30pm. That's unacceptable!

In the 9+ years I've been a resident, NEVER have GoldOller, Buckingham or Barrett & Stokely kept the water off the entire time the office was open and after hours! If the problem wasn't fixed during office hours, the company restores the community with water before leasing closes and come back the next business day to continue the work. You don't leave your residents with no access to water in their units. That's inconsiderate!

I'm not sure what maintenance does the first hour of their shift, but in the past, Thomas, Ryan and Jose would be seen keeping the community clean by picking up the trash and debris around the property--whether if it's in the grass, in the carport or on the lot. I've taking photos of trash on the property and it'll still be there days later. Is cleanliness not apart of their responsibilities?! I've watched the grass get cut and the landscaper would go around paper and bottles that weren't picked up. Before tending to work orders, the property should get attention.

To add to the cleanliness, what happened to the company who cleaned our buildings? Our buildings shouldn't look like haunted houses, with loose grass, spider webs on railings, food droppings and trash in the hallways. If I see trash on the stairs or even near my unit or neighbor's unit, I will discard it. However, it's not our job to ensure the interior is presentable. The property has only been renovated for about 3yrs. I voiced my concern to Barrett & Stokely multiple times. Now I'm informing PMR too the service needs to continue--whether if they come once a week or twice a month.

You all want us to refer residents to this community, but the property is not worth raving about anymore because it's not well-kept. I'm sure the office/clubhouse and model units look immaculate, but the interior of some buildings (like mine) have spider webs, mud/dirt, and trash on the carpet. The access to amenities is limited. Our pool still HAS NOT opened and we're halfway through summer.

Communication most definitely needs to be addressed. I had an experience with 5-Star Pest Solutions entering my unit without me receiving any notification from the office. When I called to get clarification about why they entered without my knowledge, the staff said I was the wrong unit and would let the manager know to contact me after their meeting.

No one in management followed-up with me to explain the mishap. For the record, I DID NOT REQUEST THIS SERVICE. Management or maintenance had to provide them the keys to my unit for service. I continued to call last week to address the issue, but interestingly no one answered the phone. Again, the communication is broken.

From my observation, PMR doesn't appear to be community-oriented or resident-driven. We don't receive an e-newsletter, get holiday reminders (when the office is closed), attention reminders (pet policy, grilling safety, updates, etc), have community gatherings, participate in contest/raffles, celebrate national days (ice cream, pizza, donut, etc). Unfortunately, it seems like you all took over what was upgraded to downgrade us. :(

I want to express my experience with the apartment...

I want to express my experience with the apartment known as Vue in Lexington Kentucky. Recently, I went in to the office to pay my rent. I proceeded to give the office at Vue apartments two(2) money orders which covered my rent for the month. The Vue office management refused to take my two(2) money orders. The management said they would only accept my money for rent if my payment was in one(1) money order. Unfortunately, I could not take my two(2) money orders and get one(1) for Vue apartments that same day. I had to deposit the money orders into my bank account and wait until the next day when they cleared my bank to withdrawal that money so I could buy one(1) money order for my rent for Vue apartments. Because Vue management wouldn't accept my money the first time and I had to wait the next day to turn in my rent, Vue apartments charged me a late fee of 75.00. This is so completely unfair and I think illegal since I had all of my rent and gave to them before my rent was past due. I'm so upset over this. Why would any apartmen complex want to rob their own tenants?

I reached out to upper Management in regards to a seemingly reoccurring Maintenance issue at my apartment, and I was rudely rushed off the phone with no concern, only high praise for the current property Manager that we have here. My issue was not welcomed with dignity or respect. Notice how most of the positive reviews are written by EMPLOYEES of PMR. I think in Hope's of raising the standstill rating that they have been holding. Interesting. Do better.

Please do not take the strides to rent from this company. Save yourself the headache and MONEY. I originally applied to live at M club Apartments at the beginning of May and finalized everything by June. I had a move-in day for July 16(2br, 2ba), I had to call them every single day in order to receive my welcome letter. after I finally received the welcome letter, they let me know that the unit I originally applied for was not what I was given. They lied to me and told me that I specifically applied for a two bedroom one bathroom when I did not. In order to give me what I originally applied for it would take another 3 weeks leaving me homeless for that 3 weeks. while homeless, I still had to consistently call in order to receive my lease. The Friday (august 7) before I was supposed to move in, I was informed that the contractors fixing my apartment had broken the countertop & my move-in date was pushed once again unless I wanted to take another unit. In desperation I chose to take that unit that they offered. Monday night after hours (Around 6pm) I received a call telling me that my unit would not be ready for move in the next day. At this point I had already rented movers, a U-Haul truck(completely packed),Paid for my groceries and had them ready to be delivered. this was less than 24 hours before I was supposed to move into my unit. After a lot of back-and-forth we decided to move my date until Saturday, August 14. I had to return my truck, pay a fee to move my groceries, re-pay my movers, as well as repave the U-Haul rental. Upon arrival my unit was not clean. There are raccoons outside of the door, tobacco guts on my floor, and paint all over the wooden floors in the bathroom and kitchen. My patio door does not lock, I have no fire detector, The washing machine does not work, cabinets are hanging off of the hinges,There are multiple doors that do not close and some that only close with a lot of force. my carpet was not the cleanest(also stained with paint). There is so much more I would like to say but this situation has me so battered that I don t even want to speak on it. I understand that this is just a business to some of you but this is supposed to be my home, not another problem on top of everything life throws at people. No one is vigilant with communicating, the staff has not been rude, but they are very condescending with the way that they reassure you that everything is going to be okay when it is not. I have also been in the office when other residents have needed issues resolved and they have not resolve the issues the way that a business should. This entire company needs to just be thrown away.If I could give them a zero out of five stars I would.

PMR is a great place to work! The people that I work with are fantastic and are always willing to help each other. I feel as if they truly care for their employees. I'm fairly new to the company (4 months) and I had to ask a lot of questions in the beginning and everyone was so helpful. The people are great! The benefits are awesome! I consider myself lucky to be a part of such an awesome team!

I lived in a PMR managed complex in Lakemoor,Illinois. These issues were still not dealt with by management up to when I moved. The first picture is black mold on the bedroom ceiling! I kept reporting it for months and months to no avail. The other pictures are of the upstairs apartment's hot water heater leaking into my utility area.I reported it to the office only for them to say,the people above you haven't mentioned it.My response, well, someone better go check cause it's been leaking a long time! Her hot water heater was leaking and replaced.Response to me was, just wash the door. Why should I have to AND what about all the drywall damage!!! This was never fixed!!!!!

Incredibly unprofessional . This company has just taken over my apartment in Indianapolis ,
Indiana. I was first ignored and now being lied to and told That I am not telling the truth . My apartment has now flooded twice in the time they have been our management company .( see upload )
They took 10 hours to come extract the water.
( mind you they came to my apartment at 8:00 am when I returned home from work at 5:00 the water was still in my apartment) I was given an excuse and someone came out at 6:00. The carpet in my bedroom along with the rug shown needed to be cleaned ( still not cleaned and sanitized to prevent mold etc. to this day ) the next day I expected to come home to a cleaned carpet and yet and still not cleaned and still very wet . I called the office and spoke to a gentleman and was told he would call maintenance and check on what the plan was . ( Friday 5;00) I asked specifically to speak to management and never received a call .
Monday I called back trying to be patient and understanding and was told they would
Give the message to management and maintenance and got no call not result.... today I called the office and spoke to a very professional young lady who informed me that she was going to pass the message on him keep me on hold after being put on hold she can return to the phone and told me that my key has been lost and they were unable to get into my apartment to be able to finish the extraction and sanitation him process. I became super alarmed and informed her I would now like to speak to management and I would hold and I did not feel comfortable with the fact that I had not been informed that my key was lost in my apartment and no one had informed me. Cynthia the property manager got on the phone and informed me that she did contact me and that the outside vendor had Lost the key inside of my apartment. I again told her have never spoken to you and I was not aware my key was lost in my apartment and I had not found a key in my apartment. ( I was I was present when they came to check the water and the key was not dropped or found in my bedroom today I checked again just to be sure) I then informed Cynthia that I would like my locks to be changed because I felt uncomfortable as a single woman living alone in apartment with a key now misplaced . Cynthia basically told me that I was lying by saying that she did speak to me last week I have no record of this I have no phone call from her and a voicemail from her no written email from her I ve never spoken to this woman ever I did not know her name until today she was very disrespectful super rude and very unprofessional on the phone when talking to a now alarmed resident who pays her rent on time every single month and gives no problems whatsoever. I know that I have never spoken to her because I ve asked for management to call me personally several times and left voicemails which I know they have record of .
Is now 5 o clock on May 3 and I m waiting for them to come change my locks .

Update *** July 1st my apartment has now flooded for the 4th time .
