We bought a house that Plum Tree "refinished" 2 years ago. They cut every single corner they possibly could. They hide complex issues by covering things up. Like laying down carpet so that we couldn't tell the basement was flooding. It has costs us thousands and thousands of dollars to even attempt digging ourselves out of this. Stay away, these people are crooks that will do anything to swindle you out of money.

I made the mistake of using Jason Ross from Plum Tree Realty as an agent for listing my house out as a rental property. This has been one of the worst experiences of my life. His cleaning crew ruined my expensive leather furniture by using harsh cleaning chemicals. My rental income payments began coming later and later, and I found myself being nickel and dimed to death by all their fees and costs. Once I finally had enough and terminated their services, Jason went in to the house and took out beds, towels and other items just a few days before our next renter showed up leaving me to rush around trying to replace everything for our guest. My final payment from him was several thousand less than anticipated. When I asked for a detailed record of accounting, I was told he is getting ready to go on vacation, and he'll get to it in a week or so. Afterwards, I received a follow up email from Jason stating that he found some additional bills, and I may actually owe him money! I would highly recommend looking around for another person to manage your property as he can t even seem to manage his own accounts properly.

He was very knowledgeable throughout the buying process, from determining values to working with a difficult seller and negotiating a great price. I highly recommend you work with him and Plum Tree in the future!
I am a Realtor for Plum Tree, and they have been my only brokerage I have worked for since I have been licensed. I love receiving all of my commission when I do a closing, and I also enjoy the freedom I have with Plum Tree. Most brokerages have floor time, desk time, or other time you have to put in but not at Plum Tree. You run your own Real Estate business when your at Plum Tree. The team is there to help you when you need them. I also like the fact that I work for a brokerage that gives back. My broker Chris Russell gives back by donating to organizations in need to help the less fortunate. I don t plan on leaving Plum Tree, as a matter of fact I hope to see an office go up in my home town. Plum Tree is a great place to work for!
Worst experience i ve ever had trying to lease a home. JASON ROSS sold a house beneath us and didn t even have the decency to call us. Told us that the decision would be made by 11:00 am. between us and another group of people. Come about 11:30 am. we tried calling, no answer for me, nor my 2 roommates. We couldn t get ahold of him until 4:00 pm. that day from a different phone number only to tell us the other group already has the keys, and they were one notch higher than us on the tier list , though me and my roommates were even fairly overqualified for the qualifications for this specific house AND applied for this property just an hour after it was posted onto the market. JASON ROSS even commented on his own business for the reviews saying how great the communication is . If that doesn t speak for itself I don t know what will. Would never recommend this company to anyone, nor JASON ROSS as a leasing agent to a single person. Horrible communication, explicably unprofessional, and questionably illegal on what JASON ROSS did. If you want a professional, non-sketchy, trustworthy company or leasing agent, I would recommend absolutely none of these people.
Working with PlumTree has been a great experience. Chris and his team are all very helpful and friendly. They respond to call/texts/emails extremely fast. If I had a change request it was made that exact same day. I felt they would go above and beyond for us. I would highly recommend using them and we will definitely use them in the future.

Got zero inquiries on my listing, Chris agreed that the pics were great and price was in line. Didn't get a single call in 5 weeks. Full service brokers seem to shun a discount broker. Took several calls and inquiries to get a call back. Asked to pick up their sign and lock box five times with no reply. In my experience wasn't worth the $500. I know he doesn't control the market etc, but I got far more action For Sale By owner not on the MLS. Just my experience.
