We buy food grade grease from these folks. The grease is white with no odor which is great for a food grade environment. The grease has a 2 year shelf life. After the shelf life is exceeded it turns black and smells like feet which is not good for a food grade environment. After years of no problems we started getting bad batches of grease in January 2016. We talked to Plews. They confirmed the shelf life is two years. They confirmed that some the batches remaining in their warehouse are from 2013. They are continuing to ship batches that they know are rancid. It makes no sense. Nobody is willing to take responsibility for helping the customer so they mindlessly continue to ship rancid grease that they know does not meet their spec. They are killing their reputation and making our lives miserable just to avoid putting expired grease in the trash. So stupid!
