Great place to visit. Made some wonderful memories..will never forget

I work out their too very busy on cruise ship day in the week

It seems welcoming to foreigners and convenient to many.

There is an urgent need of more protection of tourists from annoying drug addicts begging them in that area. Gives the city a bad look. Felt bad for the tourists. They gave him money but he kept following and begging them for more. That small area needs more protection from these occurrences.Tourists don't travel to be "emotionally mugged" by deranged addicts. Throws off the intended experience they pay so much to deserve.

Very cool place. Not overtly pushy as they are is cozumel Mexico, rather the locals are warm and welcoming

It's hard to leave a proper review of Belize from this area. It's congested and loud and not at all relaxing. If you find yourself here from a cruise stop, you might want to enjoy the ship instead of getting off. All you'll find is busy tourist shops and people everywhere. Use caution if you venture into the city. Travel in groups to be safe.

We have been to many ports but by far this tourist area is very nicely set up, great shopping and lots of restaurants, friendly people and amazing view of the sea. We loved hanging out there.

Brought back memories of Trinidad. Lovely view of the ocean!!

The shopping is very good here lots of shop's food , drinks . The rum is one of the best that in the states the people in the shop are very nice .

Had fun in Belize got a few gifts for my kids had lunch. Talked with locals and enjoys see this developing country. I'll go back in maybe 5/10 years with my kids see how much has changed. Seemed like they were rebuilding every where.

Great duty free shopping; know your prices on jewelry before you go, the deals aren't always as good as online in the US.

I work here an it is indeed an amazing all-in classics cruise port for visitors!!!

It's modern n clean, great ambience and view of water front with several nice restaurants and bar!

Very relaxing ride through the cave after the hike to get there

Plenty of shops to get any souvenir you are looking for. Then make your way out into the city if you dare. Ha ha, actually the locals are very friendly and very thankful for our visits.

The downtown area was very unique and interesting Darwin gave us a tour and we truly loved it it was wonderful to turn about the real society and the true people... The actual Village itself was just a tourist trap that I was thoroughly unimpressed with

Lots of quality souvenirs and friendly people. Plenty of choice for trips to take or taxi ride around the city of Belize.

Belize was awesome. I loved every minute I was there...granted I did not leave the tour group, bus, or port village.

The port is really clean and colorful, which is much different than outside of the port terminal. The only downfall is that I was asked every other second if I wanted my hair braided. Other than that it was great.

Nice place to chill for the evening. Ice cream shop is right there for a refresher

It was a dirty third world City. I was very disappointed. I was expecting to see the pristine country that I've always heard about.

This was the port stop for our cruise ship. Very interesting on and off the tender boat experience. Can be choppy ride over do it took a bit to gain my footing.

Nice native shops. Picked up our tour there and saw the top tourist sites. After it was over walked the area. Stopped in all the ones there and found good souvenirs.

There's a bar there that had a fun atmosphere. Open, people just enjoying the day. Great weather took advantage of people just interacting and having a great time.

I would go again!

Not a whole lot of options at this port, super friendly people but felt like I couldn't escape the sales people. Beautiful place with great locals! From experience if you cruise to this port, stick to the excursions ran through the cruise More

The construction was horrendous, our lot we reserved a space at stated it was a gated, secure location. Neither if which was true.

Once you visit, no need to return. Mangroves and wildlife were the best part. Bird watching and Manatees!!

Very beautiful island with rain forest and Maya civilization sites

Not a pleasant atmosphere. Many shops and restaurants. Very loud music and very restless. We went on a boat trip to the Belize River from here. This was great because you could see manatees (unfortunately only their noses out of the water), crocodiles, iguanas and special water birds.

Its exactly what the name says it is. A very touristy village. We were tendering to this place and from the boats it looked nice and inviting. The people in Belize are incredibly friendly and helpful.

Another cruise terminal. Over priced because the cruise lines need to skim money from everywhere.I bought a long sleeve t-shirt, men's XL. I got home and it's now my wife's new small woman's L shirt.

The bad thing about this place is that only tourist are only ones allowed to go in an out of this place. All sort items are sold here but its catered for tourist only

Liked all the little shops and the tour of Belize was pretty awesome.

Look for Henry the bartender in Belizian Breeze, He's terrific! Hold on to your cell phones, once their gone-you won't get it back

The people are very friendly and respectful, they try to give you all the information as accurate as possible

Crowded area with all the standard trappings of a tourist trap for a Carribean port area.

Have to be tendered from your cruise ship, approximately a 20 minute boat ride as the shops have to anchor a distance out.

There is a large selection of different 'touristy' shops at each of the four terminals.

If you exit the rear of the terminals you can find the standard woman trying to braid your hair. You can also find a taxi if you're wanting to veer off the beaten path.

DON'T fall for the taxi driver's offer of a tour of the city. At least on our tour, there wasn't nearly enough to see to justify doubling our taxi fare to Kukumba Beach.

We paid $15 per person to go to Kukumba Beach, and an additional $15 per person for the underwhelming tour (plus the standard gratuities, of course). Another $10 per person to get into the Beach area. The beach is about a 20 minute drive from the tourist village.

We didn't get to shop around because they closed all shops early.

Lots of shops and souvenirs, many homemade...friendly staff, very helpful.

This is very touristy outlet hince the name, people trying to get their hustle on. With that being said you will be approached alot with offers tours, merchandise etc some will haggle but good shipping and food.......

Lots of beggars, crime possible. Do not stay in the city - nothing much to see. Go to the keys (cays) where the ocean is clear and not much crime.

There are many stores in which there are many things of the place magnets keychains and other things I recommend them

It's hard to rate a cruise terminal. I'm on a cruise which means I'm on vacation which means no matter what I'm having fun. So it would be very hard for me to find a whole lot of negative to all the cute little shops and drink specials and vendors and food that were available to me. when you have to take a tender boat to get from the ship to the port and you have like maybe not even a mile worth of shops to walk, there's not a whole lot of negative things to say. It was very safe we could have done a city tour or we could have done an excursion, we just chose to stay in the port, and we had a blast.
