This is the best brewery in Denver. ! I love the warm cozy atmosphere and all the employees, owners, brewers, and customers. Thank you for all you do !!!!
As a resident of Colorado and connoisseur of beer, I have visited many great Denver breweries. But I've never been to one as welcoming or fun-loving as Platt Park. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, the employees are attentive and sociable, and of course the beer is fantastic!! Whether you're walking the dog and hop in for a quick brew, or playing a 3 hour game of cards against humanity, Platt Park is a prime spot to relax and refresh. It has a nice modern/industrial feel, and the occasional live band/dj to spice things up. Plus, unlike some breweries, you can actually hear yourself think in there (which might have something to do with the acoustic panels on the ceiling). I have told friends about Platt Park Brewing Company before and will continue to do so in the future. I'm so impressed at what they've accomplished in their first year of business. Keep up the great work PPBC!
Great atmosphere, great staff, and most importantly great brew!
Beer is okay. My beer was not cold and a little flat. Great, open atmosphere though.
Nice place nice ambiance
Good beer
Tropical Snow dance
Puffed jasmine rice lager
Astronaut Amber
This place is a hidden gem of a brewery. It's in a nice neighborhood, the people are all always friendly and the beer is amazing. The watermelon sour and the milkshake ale are may favorites, but I haven't tried a single one that I don't like. And now that they've added the sandwich shop (which is also really really good), it's a perfect place to stop hang out for lunch and a drink.
Love this place! Trivia nights and selection of beers make it worth a stop.
Try the cream ale. There's not one better I've found yet
Great beer and board games. Grab park burger and eat it inside with some good craft beer
As a visitor from Tennessee, I made sure I read up on this place before I visited... After reading numerous google reviews, I was misled and Platt Park Brewing is NOT dog friendly, even on the outside patio. My 10 lbs puppers, Baxter, was sleeping soundly on my lap when he was asked to leave. It was explained to us that the Denver law does not allow dogs to enter breweries. With no signs on the door stating that dogs are not welcomed and the numerous reviews dated within the past year saying this place was dog friendly, I thought I had found my happy place. Sadly, that was not the case and it is unfortunate that IF the new law of Denver does not allow dogs this brewery has chosen to not post it as such. Beer was mediocre, even before I was asked to leave with Baxter. I am giving this place three stars because the atmosphere is inviting and the location is walkable.
Great atmosphere, awesome beer, and terrific customer service. I love this brewery!
Cool place and good beer. Just gotta get past the hipster stash delta bravo bartender. The other ones are on point.
Fun, dog friendly environment. Great beers and a good happy hour. Try the tropical snow dance ipa. Average to poor service.
what a totally cool place. I will definitely be going back here for a beer and hanging out with friends in the near future. If you get a chance don't miss this place.
Platt Park Brewing Co. is an awesome neighborhood brewery! They ve got a great selection of beers and board games. Really chill vibes and friendly staff members! They re knowledgeable about beer and willingly to help you find the best beer for your taste buds.
Great place, they had 3 nitros on tap that where realy realy good and a couple of well done sour berlinerweiss as well. I ended up taking home a crowler of a honey nitro that was so over the top good
Stp[[ed in for a couple of beers on a Sunday afternoon. Had one really good beer and a couple of ok beers. It's a nice apot and plenty of seats at the bar which I like. It's a bit family friendly for my taste but a decent spot for a beer.
Great beer, great Brewery! dog friendly, food trucks there most of the time, if not, restaurants close by and can bring food back in. Play games, trivia nights, or just hangout. Love this place
Vibrant atmosphere, good beer, and fast service at the bar. What more could you want? They also had a food truck there if you were hungry, but I got ice cream instead from across the street.
Local brewery, featuring rotating taco trucks if you come at the right time. Comfortable, open, social space. Plenty of games, plenty of good beer, plenty of seats (and standing room), quite a gem for Southern Denver. Denver Native approved!
Great beer. I'm not normally a fan of pale ales, but theirs is awesome. And who doesn't like supporting a local business while drinking beer? win/win
I wait all year for the watermelon sour! My favorite beer in Denver!
Local spot that has good beer, a great open front & games to play!
Great neighborhood brewery. Awesome location and a nice place to day drink with the doors are rolled up. Usually a food truck outside. Gets packed on some evenings. Some really good brews and service is good. Dog friendly as well.
Got pizza from sexy pizza.a glass of excellent cold beer.living the life.
I was in town for some open houses in the neighborhood. The website advertises they are dog friendly which couldn't be further from the truth. They make you tie your dog outside of the property, on city owned sidewalk property, in the right of way of the constantly busy Pearl Street traffic. I will never visit this brewery again, and you should think twice about bringing your dog there.
Nice Denver neighborhood atmosphere. Next to a great burger joint and an ice cream parlor. Grab a brew and sit on the porch and people watch or grab a burger or ice cream and have a brew too. Many folks brought there dogs and were just chillin.
Great IPAs and sour. Cool employees, will be back.
I was waiting at the bar for half an hour to be served. Watched people who got there 5-10 minutes after me get served and I was trying to be noticed. When he finally came up to me he was rude and said " what do you want?" So I told him actual decent customer service. He looked at me weird and I ordered a flight. Good atmosphere, okay beer, worst customer service ever.
Went there while visiting friends. Love the location, the atmosphere, the service, the beer...can't wait to come back. Beautiful neighborhood!
Their beer keeps getting better. And Platt has a great laid back ambiance. Great for a quick drink on a Saturday afternoon kids in tow, or a Friday night outing with friends. Come for the board games, stay for the beer. Also they let you have food delivered. And with a Park Burger right across the street it is really a no-brainer.
The beers are great but be very selective when ordering a sandwich. It's a very basic sandwich for $10-12 , then its $2 bucks for additional items, i.e. bacon, avocado so when it's all said and done=$20+
The BEST brewery in Denver! The staff was so nice and the beers are AMAZING!
Great beer, great atmosphere, and good staff. Overall everything we have had a Platt Park has been amazing, and the atmosphere is welcoming and unique. The staff are pretty good as well, just sometimes feel a little distant.
Platt Park Brewing has a really good beer selection (I love the watermelon sour and pineapple IPA). They have big tables which are great for if you come with a large group, and an amazing game selection to keep you entertained while you're there!
I was really disappointed with my first experience here. We were there Saturday evening with a group, and every member of our group was treated poorly by staff. They were busy but as busy as you would expect a bar to be on a Saturday night, it was nothing crazy. There were two people working behind the bar and although no patrons seemed flustered or in a hurry, the female bartender gave the worst customer service. We asked a single question about a beer, as we had never been there and she said "we're really busy... ", then when we went to pay she asked if it was cash or card and as we were answering she swatted her hand and said "hurry up". By no means were we taking our time or being slow. It was really off putting and although we love the area and the beer was good, we won't be going back, as the staff really made for an awful experience. We weren't the only ones that felt this way either, we heard the table next to us talking about the staff as well.
Today: NE Pale Ale 5.4abv very good, low floral nose with low hop, very light bitter finish 16oz (I've only had one other, I like it and the abv is right where it should be) ; NE-IPA 6.6abv very good, nice floral nose fairly clean hop floral finish 16oz (above average, while not over done, although the 7.50 price tag is questionable)
> Jun2018 - Pale Ale ABV pretty good decent hop up front very low finish (just average) 16oz ;
> May2017 - Pilsner 5.3abv good a bit lite but nice after 1.5hrs of pedaling ; Fw-IPA 6.1abv v-good a bit lite but fulfilling in every way.
(upgrade to 5*, ive really felt theyve been close to it for a long time, although prices have gone up)
- some outdoor seating ; wifi is good today ; old "Pearl Brew" ; right on the street ; great bicycle parking ; menu displays have been updated ; kid friendly but not dog according to Sally go to 'St Patrick's Bp' where dogs/kids run free ; no parking ; 3 TV's
Laid back brewery with good beer.
Needs a kitchen.
Said on the website closed at 11pm, arrived at 10.30, doors locked, as staff chatted to friends. Wasted last half hour of night, I will not be returning. Very inconsiderate.
Stopped in for a bottle to take home and landed on one of the best beers. Certainly pricey but worth it. Staff was very friendly and helpful when I was asking questions.
Great beer and atmosphere. The tropical is one of the best IPAs in town!
This place is so fun! Games to borrow, friendly staff, and pups allowed inside! Also a wide variety of brews!
Came in for some tastings and a growler, service was great, beer was OK. Started liking the NE IPA more as I got to the second and third. Definitely interested in checking out more of the beers there this summer. Cool spot on Pearl
Ridiculously delicious sandwiches! Who would have thunk?
Consistently one of Denver's best. Great neighborhood brewery and tap room.
Good beer, 5 stars for the great bartender! Our visit was great!
Such an amazing experience at Platt Park! The beers are on point!! If you haven't been you need to.
Dog friendly, convenient location from a friend's neighborhood. Their brews would have to get a 6/10, some are really good though. The worker was rude to me when I went in, but not to the point to where I would leave. Ordered my brew, then got hungry.... No food trucks? If they could find out a way to fix that problem, they would get 4 stars.
Great bar lots of different kinds of popcorn and board games to play while you drink/ socialize.
Nice place with pretty good beer. I'm a big fan of the outdoor seating, which really integrates with the street despite government restrictions.
What I don't like are the two big screen tvs behind the bar, usually playing some kind of sports game (51% of the time) or the ads during the breaks of a sports game (49% of the time). Distracting and ruins the atmosphere - seriously, if I wanted to go to Beef 'O Brady's, I would just go there.
Favorite brewery in Denver. Great vibes greats staff, 10/10
One of my favorite spots in Denver, locally owned and beer is phenomenal. You can tell their team takes a lot of pride in their product and what they offer their patrons. Highly recommended.
Good beer, good atmosphere. The Italian sandwich was pretty good. Different than a normal Italian. I d give it 4 out of 5. Great wings. Will be going back next time around there.
Since they added a kitchen 2 months ago the brewery now has a full bar with spirits. Their sandwiches are great and nachos are perfectly on point. Addition of food means they now have a full bar with good choice in bitters. Still the same great beer too.
Board games and great craft beer. What more could you want?
You all rock! Thanks for staying open to provide to-go and delivery beer for the neighborhood. The beer just gets better and better and the sandwiches are fantastic. Cheers!
Great selection of creative and tasty brews. The bartender wasn't super friendly and couldn't make a good recommendation. Plenty of seating at the bar and in the back room. Happy to find this gem in the neighborhood!
I love this place! Garage door feature, nitro beers, popcorn, board games, and the occasional food truck. I definitely walk out of there with a growler of something every time.
Friendly. Nachos enough for 2 + they subbed lettuce for us. Yum!
Great local neighborhood brewery with a food truck parked out front.
Nice atmosphere with good beer. Watermelon sour is delicious.
Excellent beers with many varietals to choose from. Great location and always upbeat crowd. Food trucks if hungry.
Gonna miss this place when we gtfo of overpriced Denver and head to Charlotte where it cost 25% less to live. That's leaves alot of money to find more good beer like they serve here!
Tried every beer they have with two flights. Actually purchased a groupon since we rarely make it down this way. I'd say out of 12 beers we were very impressed with at least half and satisfied with most the others. Good atmosphere, excellent service. One thing to make clear, those of you participating in groupon, remember... tip on the full amounts, this was brought to my attention a handful of breweries back and it makes sense! Treat your service people well! Most of us couldn't do what they do.
Great beer. Madagascar Dream is such a good nitro! Sometimes feels like a daycare with the amount of kids. And the games there are ruined or missing pieces due to the kiddos. But... beer is great, so will always return.
I ignored the reviews mentioning bad service, but platt park brewing lived up to its reputation. We were unpleasantly scolded twice for silly things from the bartender. We also watched a girl get her practically empty beer taken away because she didn't have her ID on her (even though she had already paid for and was served it). The second star is only because they have good beer.
I have not been impressed with the few beers I've had, although they always seems to be busy. A fine place to socialize, but if you're looking for great beer, head elsewhere.
Great bear, friendly staff, and games.
No food but plenty around to order from and you can bring it in.
Awesome atmosphere and some of my favorite craft brews in Denver. Try the Madagascar Dream cream ale!
Great beer, and a friendly, fun atmosphere. I stopped by on a Sunday evening to meet a friend, and was pleasantly surprised that there was a fair number of people there. I think that really speaks to the quality.
Great beer. Games to play. You can play games, read a book, or hang with friends. The world's your oyster while enjoying delicious brews.
Hard Pass - worst beers I've had in Denver. The $2 pbr across the street at park burger was better than anything I tried here. The 6 beer flight was terrible. 1 was drinkable, 4 were very bad, and 1 was maybe the worst beer I've ever had. Only redeeming quality was friendly staff and dogs allowed inside. Won't be back
Good beers, good service, good atmosphere....
Can t complain!
Great beer - Madagascar Dream is my go-to, and Happy Hour will save you a few bucks. If you need to get work done, their blazing fast wifi (over 90mbps) is a pleasant surprise!
Decent location, fun atmosphere (they allow dogs!!), beer is five degrees too warm, beer styles are under-developed and thus far not memorable. Not all breweries are gonna be great in Denver but I truly hope they improve their game as I live near by.
