DO NOT RENT FROM PLATINUM REALTY. I will start off by saying we rented sight un-seen and we take responsibility for that. We are a military family and we got last minute unexpected orders and did what we needed to at the time. The pictures looked great.
We showed up and the bathroom ceiling was completely pink and black with mold. The face of the front door knob was hanging off. We had no fire alarms. The fridge was rusted. The popcorn ceiling is falling off and the Master Bedroom had no door. The list goes on and on. I could add many more issues but I'm trying to keep this as short as possible.
We filled out our move in inspection. We placed our maintenance requests and we waited patiently. Nothing was fixed. We took it upon ourselves to paint the bathroom with KILLZ to contain the molded ceiling. After multiple requests, and a few angry phone calls it took THREE MONTHS to get a FIRE ALARMS and a bedroom door. It took SIX MONTHS to get a door handle that locked and protected my family properly. Most recently we started noticing soft spots in our bathtub that continued to get worse quickly. Upon inspection the underneath of the house where the bathroom is, is molded including the support beams (the ones that were left and not broken) for the tub. After 3 separate people came for 'estimates' the solution was to add one extra board and a little bleach. The ceiling is already molding again, and the tub is already soft again. We have tried everything we can think of to work with Platinum Realty but they, and the owner of the home are completely unwilling to work with us or make necessary fixes. This home is not in any condition to be rented. Platinum Realty and the owner only care about getting their rent money each month. I encourage everyone to avoid renting from Platinum at all costs.

The house I'm living in was rented through byers and harvey initially, but switched at some point to platinum realty. I found out about the switch when I received a check in the mail from byers and harvey because I'd overpaid an extra $5 most of the months I'd been in the house. I paid my rent then and I haven't stopped, but for some unknown reason I get some piece of paper claiming I owe over 4x's the amount of my monthly rent! I've made several attempts to get in touch with the woman in charge of this but here i am writing this waiting for my attempts to be acknowledged. Who knows how much longer after that point before I can get some answers? !
I just really have a difficult time believing that any company would allow 4 months of nonpayment to pass before deciding to take action. This is blowing my mind, it really is
They don t care about you and only want your money and will blame everything on you.

Molly came in and did my annual inspection. Friendly and professional. Took down list of needed fixes. Platinum always responds quickly to repair requests as well. My experience with Platinum as a landlord has been extremely positive.
Absolutely the worst place to rent from, if I could leave zero stars I would. They purposely set up their house so that renters have to pay at the time of move out. One example of this is that they don t seal the paint on the walls so simply by touching it there s a stain. Also when we try to report these problems, the realtors don t try to help you instead you are met with attitude and sass, especially Molly. They also make you feel bad for trying to report these problems. At the time of move out, they did not let people viewing the house known that there were tenants which made the process very awkward and uncomfortable and made us feel unsafe since they were giving them the codes for the box where the key to the house was. They are also charging us for things wrong with the house that was out of our control. Like I mentioned the paint used for the walls was cheap, my husband touched it once and his handprint stayed and they charged us for painting the wall. When we wanted to do the work ourselves they refused to give us the color of the paint and charged us for painting walls that didn t need to be repainted.
The absolute BEST property management in town! Kim has been fantastic to work with. She s prompt and efficient with great communication. I ve never felt more in the loop and at ease with my investment.

It was initially very difficult to speak with somebody and get a return call back regarding interest in the property I eventually rented. It took several weeks before I was able to reach somebody for aI don't like that there is a fee to pay online - so I just took a check every month. Receiving maintenance took several calls and follow ups before completion. The Madison St. office can't take all paperwork and do everything that the Wilma Rudolph office can - which was inconvenient.

I was referred to Platinum Realty & Management by a friend a couple years back and after working with them to buy and manage multiple homes I have not been disappointed. They make the management process so easy by finding and vetting quality tenants and handling all of the day to day details of property ownership including maintenance. There is good reason why they are consistently voted Best of Clarksville, they are a great company to work with.
I have never had a more terrible experience with renting thru a company. There are far too many miscommunications between staff and defiantly a lack of care. They will charge you for damages on the property that were there previously before you moved in even though you had let them know the damages had existed when you walked thru the property to view it. It is so sad to see that some agencies do not care about the living situations they allow their tenants to reside in. If I could give this 0 stars I would. Would not recommend to anyone.

Charged $100 for an unrefundable application fee without informing us of an additional $300 admin fee and $500 pet fee after we told them we had a cat before filling out the application. It's bad enough you're expecting 4 months worth of rent just to move in, but at least be upfront about it before scamming people out of money.
They don't have a way to leave voicemail when the office is closed -- I simply wanted to leave my message with my question, then when they opened, they could have responded to my voicemail. This is not convenient. They only have a maintenance line who won't take messages.
They are not the best at returning calls when you do speak with someone -- I have called the property at least on 3 occasions with no response about a resolution.
Taylor is nice -- the receptionist, no matter the concern, is always very nice.

When we first moved in maintance was super fast but the longer we stayed there the longer it took for them to fix anything. Then they would show up and say they couldn't fix it till the owners of the house approved it and we would end up waiting another week. Of course they wouldnt keep us updated on the issues. We would need to call them for updates on the issues.
Then the owners would fight the fix and try and charge us for things that were out of our control.
Come to the time we move out they send us a charge list of damages and almost everything on the list is stuff we stated in the move in inspection as well as offered move in photos to prove it was there and We bring it to their attention and they pretty much shrug it off and tells us oh well.
Waiting for the official charge price and we will be going to a lawyer so i highly don't recommend this company to anyone!

BE CAREFUL!!!! Lengthy review but worth reading to save your property, time, and moneySo let me tell you about these friendly staff. I believe each of them in their own way means well and dont agree with the way this company is run in one way or another. I did not (did not) walk in their office seeking help to rent my property. I went to keystone, in some dispute my property was transferred over to platinum through a court order from "said: despite. They presented themselves as friendly. Throughout my property's time at this place the standards have slowly went down from where it was, not by the so called wear and tear. They overlook a lot of different things with someone who I didnt believe ever owned a house or have enough time renting to do inspections. Over time I have done visits to my property to do inspections I have brought numerous issues the their attention to include dog chewing on side boards, my expensive blinds, trash in the yard, glass broken balcony broken and few other issues and they failed to include it in the move out inspections. I, on several occasions, had to come out of pocket bc of their negligence. One client of theirs still owe on the property they use to manage for me I asked the extent of their participation to retrieve my money. Their reply was we send them a final notice of balance due... and 30 days later they transfer to collections. That's it .
Recently, like this past week, after transferring my property to another agency almost months ago I got receipts for final billing some of items that was to be charged missing from the list again i.e. broken tiles. I asked how they planned on making this right their reply in emai I apologize for inconvenience but we cant charge them for this now. I specifically pointed this and few other things not on list. They refuse to accommodate for their lack of understanding in the business they choose to work in. Their ethical behavior is none existing. Do inspections on your property. These guys need to be closed down. Due to being in the military I was scared to transfer my property because the time between releasing the property and getting a new agent was uncertain to me. BE CAREFUL WORKING WITH THEM THEY WILL COST YOU MONEY!!!!!
So, I dont like to write reviews until I've allowed for the business and or vendor to rectify whatever issues that have came up.
My first review of this place was somewhere between April and June of 2018.
So long story short I made a decision to change property manager because I felt my property was consistenly getting worse and worse as more an more people move in and out. While I understand that there are normal wear and tear, there were a lot of cosmetic damages that were done and not documented properly or not documented at all to include broken tile. My previous review goes in depth of my issues at that specific time.
This message to you potential renters and or homeowners, so since that time I have emailed multiple times especially immediately after I went and walk through the house myself and identified issues that were never on their move out inspection. After addressing this issue several times and ask for statements to see exactly what the tenant were being charged and sent to collections i received documentation several months later and have no way of collecting that money from the tenant at the time.
To make matters worse I sent in emails requesting updates as the tenants were making
My family has been going through a pretty rough season and when I walked into the doors of this company I felt very welcomed and was approved with no issue it was a breath of fresh air after being to so many uncompassionate companies. You gave my family a fresh start and for that I am grateful.
I have not used this company however my daughter works there. Based on my knowledge of her willingness to help the customer, organization skills and total commitment to everything she does I would rate the company at 5 stars.

Anyone who has had issues with this company typically either didn't read their lease or doesn't know what renting is all about. Haven't had any issues from this company at all. They went over my lease in detail and walked through the house with me. We covered every inch of the property and everything that needed to be repaired, was repaired. Professionally to the very end.

These people are a bunch of crooks, I just cleared out of a house Sep 27th, paid a carpet cleaning company, paid a pressure washing company and paid pest control to come by to the house, I spent 600 dollars checking everything off their list expecting to get my deposit back, I just received my 75 dollar check in the mail out of a 1300 dollar rent /pet deposit after 35 days with all kinds of made up charges like ash in a fire place that we never used, don't use this company, just another company ripping off Soldiers

Most expensive app fee I've every heard of - $100, lots of run-around and pointless back-and-forth emails, only to rent the interested property and offer you look at their other properties. It felt very unfair and perhaps they are collecting multiple app fees for the same property. Renter beware. Never seen a property management company make it this complicated.
