Paid for spring season basketball for my boys. They are on multiple teams so my cost was a little over $600. PSA will not give any refunds or credits for the canceled spring season. Coaches are even refusing to coach the boys because they do not feel it is safe yet. Completely unacceptable practice by PSA. My boys will not be returning. We will play with ASA instead.

My son has played basketball for about 4 seasons and has been fouled more than Dennis Rodman committed during his career. Refs are subpar for the most part but there a very few exceptions where the refs actually called a pretty even game. The Basketball Staff that walks around in the orange shirt does nothing but avoid parents that need help. If there were any where else to play parks and recreational basketball, we would leave in a heart beat. The children are the ones who suffer when they are continuously getting fouled and refs lack the skill necessary to referee a game. Another thing that shows this place has no coordination is that our game was suppose to start at 8 in the evening but the game before that was a huge blowout ran over by 20 minutes. Our game didn t even start until 8:35, that is ridiculous. When I tried to approach the man in the PSA basketball staff shirt, he walked away and then went and sat at a game that had just started instead of checking in the game that was running over by a lot. Guess we will have to wait until middle school or high school so we don t have to waste our money on this sorry excuse of basketball parks and rec. Plano should be ashamed of this establishment and look to revamp this organization.

My son has played for PSA for years. I am beyond upset that the Thunderbolts coach can scream that there is only good player on our team, scream at our coach and make the entire game an embarrassment. To top it all off this same coach can lie about the score because they are such a poor sport. Kids should not be subject to hear these things. I have requested a call or email back from PSA and have heard nothing. ASA will at least call you back.

Zero stars!!!! They denied a refund alleging that they still have to pay the staff to coordinate all the canceled games, etc etc... if they're going thru a hardship ask the government for help not the customers. Of course their refund policy doesn't include a pandemic, but the decent thing is to give us our money for something that was out of our control and not something we chose (like they say that we didn't want to play anymore)...

Before giving me a credit to use with them of $59, they charged me for an insufficient funds check return (hello I paid with CC and payment went right away when I registered on February) and then a cancelation fee because as they said in their email the players "chose not to continue in our postponed Spring Season".... we chose? Are they accusing us of inventing a pandemic? I wish I could post the nonsense email they sent me. It's hilarious!

Absolutely awful experience with this organization!! Have lived and played in DFW sports organizations for year and none have been this awful. First they tried to tell us Soccer season was still on and to maintain distance on the sidelines...WHAT ABOUT THE KIDS PLAYING?? Then they postponed the season and completely ignored multiple requests for refund for weeks/months. Now they are saying seasons will be starting soon with no siblings allowed while we are still in the middle of a pandemic. What am I supposed to do with my other child??? All while saying they will prioritize kids still playing and not refunds. This organization owes me full refund for softball and soccer seasons and they refuse to assist much less respond. It is blatantly obvious this organization prioritizes MONEY OVER KIDS. Says a lot about your core ethics, values and culture! Never again.

Great martial arts academy. It is family run by a 9th degree grand master and his kids. They also have non family members who are just as sweet!! They really want you to learn and are very patient. If you can't come more than once a week (like me) they will stay after class with you and help you with your patterns! I love it so much! 10/10 recommend the martial arts academy.

We signed our kids up to play spring sports at PSA and they are refusing to refund us. They are rude and not answering the phone. They are stating the spring season is postponed and not canceled so they aren't processing refunds. You would think they would be compassionate during this time but I guess not.

From what I've seen, it's got like 6 basketball courts on the bottom floor and an indoor soccer field. I've never been to the second floor. They have a small concession stand to buy snacks or drinks and don't allow outside food or drinks. Con is how disorganized it can be. Sometimes you can't find someone to ask questions or provide assistance. They also have a small shop for uniforms and gear.

They stole over $500 from me. I was talked into buying 10 days by the receptionist for the summer program but could not use them. I've tried to no avail to receive even as much of a CREDIT of MY money so we could use it towards a sports program in the future. Now I'm presently seeking legal counsel to determine my next steps.

My kids have played sports through several organizations throughout DFW and PSA is actually very, very good. No where is perfect, but they are close. The games are well organized, well-communicated and well-run by refs. The facility is very nice and well-kept up. It is very difficult to get ahold of anyone there to help if you have a problem with your account, but it s because there are just so many kids / people there. They do offer a TON of camps there, all of which my kids loved, but I never really knew what was going on...it all seemed like chaos. But, my kids liked it. We will return for future sports seasons and future camps. I would recommend the PSA.

PSA will never get another penny from me. The organization is poorly ran and will never respond to you. Schedule is posted several days before the season starts and I'm not sure if they even look at the conflicts submitted for scheduling.

Be very cautious with PSA for your son or daughter.

This is a fun place for kids to be involved in sports in a safe environment. I wish the classes were a bit longer by 15 to 30 minutes (This is of course very subjective).

The staff do a good job of assisting and coaches have good training techniques geared to the age of the players.

DON'T TAKE skill classes. My son is taking the intermediate/advanced basketball skills and there are almost a handful of kids who can barely dribble. Told CS and they don't seem to care because 2 weeks later and 5 phone calls to resolve the issue, the manager says she will help resolve but that's a joke. The coaches are good but can't teach an upper level when they are busy babysitting.

Pompous executives . Disorganized and feels like leaderships is a bunch of 12 years olds. Took everyone s money for spring season and when it became obvious that wasn t going to happen, blatantly refused to give refunds. I had a couple conversations with various directors and frankly the vision of the smarmy used car salesman kept popping into my head during the conversation. Had they done the right thing by the community that supports them, the community would have stood by them, but the way it s stands now, many parents have to decided to switch to neighboring organizations. As far as I m concerned, good riddance.

PSA is refusing to refund peoples money for games cancelled due to Covid. They say they will credit upto 75% of the fee to the PSA account, but will not refund. This is akin to robbing people. Shame on PSA for stealing peoples money.
