Worked for PLANIT Sydney in 2013-14. In my personal opinion. If you are a college drop-out or looking to break into the IT scene in Sydney this is a good place to start. For people immigrating to Australia with much Higher Degrees than some of the higher management at PLANIT. Coming from IT dominant countries, then this in NOT the place for you. Seems like PLANIT can negotiate mediocre / below average salaries in the guise of providing a break and offering local experience for such highly experienced people, in exchange, they would pair such immigrants with in-experienced higher management (Sr. Managers / Directors etc) and then extract information on how to run a certain project / best practices while continuously feeding back to such employees suggesting their communication is lacking or Skills are not aligned to Australia yet! the usual feedback BS (Seems very discriminating, vague, manipulative). Funny thing is all this is done under cover to ensure the workforce is expanding as that grows their business bottom line.(Head count)
All in all, unfair practices, unjust management, rigid outdated processes, inferiority complexes and discriminatory attitudes make this place extremely TOXIC for personal growth. Don t get pigeon holed!
