Good for the money but crowded and not always clean

I only visited to use the showers. Men's locker room needs some care. Cliental are always hard on it. Two changing rooms, one stool between them. Shower was clean though shower curtain had mold on it. I could hear weight slamming from inside the locker room. Both tall and small lockers available. Wifi available. Staff okay. Very spacious with quite a lot of cardio machines. Ample parking.

Very clean environment, new equipment, and reasonably priced membership

Untruthful, misleading and overall bad customer service. Clean and well maintained.

I'm really liking this place. Everything you need for any body part needing a workout.

No one has ever bothered me here, I can come in do my thing and leave. The staff is friendly and helpful but not overbearing. They have many weights machines, free weights, and multiple choices for cardio. Also tanning if you're into that. It's a good option for just $10 a month.

Went here to register and the staffs are awesome. Helpful and informative. The female locker and shower room was clean. Equipments are quite new.

Great Place to park to walk slowly over to Saigon Tokyo. :P

I love this gym! Always clean, well staffed, and the equipment is in tip top shape!

I had a small issue with my billing on my end which was fixed. I had my bank call customer service to take my card out of a hard decline status. They assured us, it would be done. I try again two weeks later. Planet Fitness still will not take my card. Weeks later I get emails and text messages asking me to change my billing info to something that works even though my card now works everywhere else I use it.

Checked my credit bill. Turns out they have been charging me.

Earlier the better because after 5:30 am the place can get really busy. I go in between 3:45 to 4 am with my fiance because the floor is almost empty.

Lack of heavier dumb bells is a negative, but I get that that's not the gym they want to be. Still plenty of options to get an excellent work out

No judgement zone. Nobody has ever made me feel uncomfortable. The gym is clean. There's Alot of perks. There's tanning, massage therapy. Tv"s large variety of equipment shirts hats gym bags ear buds water fountain drinks including water, energy drinks juice. Overall experience is awesome!

Not recommended. Especially if you are using insurance to cover the costs. They have a tendency to mix things up and not communicate effectively with insurance companies so you don't get reimbursed. I took my business to iron empire where I don't have to worry about Dovers finest showing up and crowding the place for free pizza and getting grease all over the equipment. Repulsive.

Affordable, friendly staff, clean environment, ample parking, tailored programs, ample equipment, judgement free. And if you forget your lock, headphones, general workout gear or healthy snack you can always buy them there at a decent price.

Clean, staff is very friendly and helpful, up to date equipment. You must try the Hydro-massage!!!

Decent planet fitness. Though I find many of the accommodations, wifi, showers, some machines. Are either consistently either filthy, or not working properly. If you do go I'd suggest not needed wifi as it's never able to connect and to avoid most machines because they turn themselves off but keep resistance so you can't monitor things. I'm very disappointed in this location

Be aware that planet fitness started charging your accounts from July 2020 for membership which was frozen in March 2020(due to COVID-19) even though you are not visiting planet fitness (assuming your membership frozen until you resume it back). As per them your membership automatically resumed on their opening day for which no proper communication happened. You need to cancel to save your money, if you are not visiting planet fitness or else they will deduct membership fee every month from your account forever.

Employees aren't that personable. They had an employee who seems to bounce around from locations, he's cool

It was empty when we went good time to be there... I went tanning in the booth the inside had not been cleaned for ever I cleaned it before I went in it was really dirty like people were going in with their shoes it was nasty besides that it was ok

I love Dover planet fitness, this is hands down the best gym I've ever been a part of

I have lived in the area for 20 years. This is a great gym if you have never worked out in your entire life. I have attended the gym since I was 15 years old. I came home to visit for the holidays and they had lost all of my information. The only thing that stands out here is the fact that its the closest gym in the area. So if you like your information (I.E. credit cards and routing number fumbled around with, this is the place for you. If you like poor service and a little bit of an attitude when you walk in, this is the place. The worst gym in the seacoast hands down. The good reviews on the google page are from current employee's so don't be fooled by there nonsense. Hope this helps in avoiding a nasty experience at Dover,NH planet fitness.

The Dover location doesn't have consistent hot water in the showers. I don't have 15 minutes to wait for hot water.

Clean. Lots of machines to choose from (number of total machines and number of different machine for different work outs)

The first Planet Fitness! Decent facilities, more than adequate parking lot, on the bus routes.

Well kept planet fitness! Men s locker room is a bit small and awkwardly shaped. Otherwise no complaints for a planet fitness.

I wish it has 0 stars to choose . This is a gym with so much hidden fees involved. I rarely go to gym and I was maintaining this memebership for easy access purposes. They charged me $40 annual fee. I have requested them to be considerate as I am willing to cancel membership. Manager was very rude stating though you want to cancel it , you should be paying annual fee .. I ended up cancelling membership by paying annual fee today. Please be aware of their hidden billing tricks.

Busy after work but mornings and lunch breaks are good times to go.

Staff is kinda bland not really welcoming except for the older gentleman with salt and pepper hair he was very interactive with the guest!!!!!

Love Planet Fitness, having been a member since 2013. Friendly staff and convenient locations where ever I travel. Overall, I like the renovations at the Dover facility but not pleased with the incredibly small mens locker room. Poorly designed and not nearly enough space in the changing area. Not sure anything can be done about it now but makes for an uncomfortable experience especially at peak hours.

It is a nice cross training gym. It does not cater to serious lifters and should be avoided by such.

I like exercising and this place absolutely has everything . All the equipment was clean and also very customer friendly.

The girl behind the counter should work somewhere else. Where she doesnt have to deal with people.

Almost didn't finish signing up because of the attitude of the guy working the desk. The details he told me were wrong and later when I was hit with a few that I hadn't been expecting I complained to the manager about the it. She took good of me and because of her I will continue my membership.

It's a comfortable place with friendly staff. A definite A+

Has a lot of equipment so in spite of being crowded you can usually find what you need. Love that its 24/7.

Only issue I had was pmt.can only be taken on 17th of month.inconvenient!

I love my PF black card membership. It has made such a difference.

Place has top-notch state-of-the-art equipment! Black Card Spa was pretty sweet too! Will be back soon!

I was really impressed with this location! Very large floor plan with all the equipment you would need to target all your muscle groups. The black card member lounge is private and definitely the nicest of all the locations I ve been to with leather couches and high top tables. Ample tanning and the full body fitness booth was nice too.

They let people keep locks on lockers as long as they want .they should remove locks when they end their workout and they don't
It's not fair for everyone else

I've enjoyed going big space plenty of machines.
I've seen the workers clean machines down most days I go.

It obvious with the rating that customer service DOES NOT come first with Planet Fitness Corporate office . The reason for the high rating is because it is not the fault of my home store To cancel a membership you MUST send a certified letter (additional expense) or go into the franchise you signed up with. You can not provide a scanned copy of your ID and signed notice for our protection! Lol.

This is just another ploy to hold you captive and give them one more chance to stop you from canceling or make it so inconvenient that you never do. With Covid I really think they should be flexible by helping the consumer not hold them hostage to driving over a half and hour to cancel something that should be done and could be done via email. I have cancel contracts that were thousands of dollars with a simple email fom my account registered with them.

Planet Fitness should be ashamed of their petty ways. Yet another example of a company looking to take advantage of the consumer during these unprecedented times

I love this gym. The showers have some mold in the grout though and it needs some attention.

Friendly staff, affordable and comfortable atmosphere

Great to get cardio in.. Wish they would do something about people sitting on machines not using them,zoned out into their cell phones.. Kind of hard to get your routine done when you cant get to a piece of equipment for an hour because someone cant even finish one machine. Other then that great staff fair price great range of equipment... Add a gymnastics studio

Membership is cheap. Staff is friendly and helpful. Equipment is well maintained, except for the Beauty Angel:-(

Love this gym. Great people. They keep it clean and if you ever have a question about anything, the staff is great. Tina is amazing!!!!

Great to go late night when it's not overcrowded. Staff is friendly and the equipment is clean!

Still made they took out my sauna cocoon... But it is a good gym for what we pay.

Good gym to workout at. Especially with covid 19 going on everyone is staying at their distance. Best time i noticed is to go at the busy time otherwise you cannot find staff.. went there earlier and I wanted to try out the massage chair or bed after my workout but the lady who works the desk was nowhere to be found.. other than that I d give this gym five stars if I could find the employee when they are needed.

This is my favorite planet the different equipment is nice. Also Rochester is nice now they re remodeled

The staff is very helpfull and the trainer knows what there doing. They are currently under renovation so its not too crowded

I was told that I could not cancel my membership unless the manager was in. I don't remember that part being in the contract.
