This restaurant is terrible. I haven't even been there, but I looked at their website for my Italian project and it didn't help. An utter disgrace.
Tried out the Fettuccine Salmon Pasta & Spaghetti Carbonara. Was so creamy & yummy. The spaghetti carbonara sauce has got real eggs on it, was so good. Service was good and fast too, the waitresses were friendly. Will def come back
Enjoyed the pizza, thin crust and tasty toppings. Lots of variety. Piping hot food and quick efficient service. Will definitely go again
Food was excellent, the staff were very friendly and provided fast service. You could tell the place took pride in its food and service.
The chicken Parma was two thinly sliced pieces with a smearing of tomato served with chips that were dark brown and no salad. It was more of a Chicken Schnitzel than a Chicken Para. Overall i was very disappointed and would not recommend this dish.
Great food. We were put on a table right next to the cashier do very busy and had to watch not getting bumped. Very busy and a line for inside tables when we left
Does the job. Doesnt blow your hair back a d serves are good for the price. Would prefer smaller sizes and better quality
Children running amok. Calzone undercooked, tepid in the middle, pretty tasteless. Chicken parma a let down. After we ate we just wanted to leave
Go to Ruoccos, Portarosa or Sandrino instead.
Although staff are polite and attentive. After dinner last night I am sat up at 4 am with my head in a bucket and so sick I had the fish i don't think it was as fresh as I had hoped not a good experience for me to say the least sorry guys but you could make someone very ill be careful back of house
Waited 30 mins after we got menu to be served and told that none of the pizzas are available as they are about to close.
Next time please inform that to the customers when handing the menus or remove the 'pizza' part from the name of the restaurant.
We come to this restaurant every once in a while (though according to the waiter, he s clearly never seen us before so we possibly couldn t have been here before!) and usually have very good food and good service.
Hence, tonight we came in tempered with the same expectations, and to order the food we usually have, a large chicken pizza without the BBQ sauce and a chicken pasta.
Upon entering, we were greeted by a half hearted attempt of a welcome although to be fair since we work in the same industry we are empathetic and sympathetic towards others in the same situation coming closer the end of the day.
So in we did go, sat down at a table, menus and table water was brought to the table promptly (credit due where it is), and we ordered the food, and were told that it s not possible at all and that he would have to go to the back and see whether they have the sauce as they usually don t have it (the house special homemade mayo). We then said that this is usually what we have, can we just replace the BBQ sauce with something else and to this the waiter responded that he had worked there for four years and had never seen us before! Clearly we were lying, as there was no other implication there other than that! We asked the waiter whether he would like to see our bank statements as proof and having been disheartened we walked out and ended having dinner right next door at Sandrino and it was delicious and the service such a counterpart it was a breath of fresh air.
Usually not one to write a bad review or to pile ill will on our fellow brethren, the way we were treated was so unbelievably bad we had to do this! We hope you take this as constructive criticism as we usually enjoy the food here and the service.
*photo curtesy next door!
Really nice pizza and friendly servers, wasn't too expensive
Spagetti and meatball meal the ultimate .not had better.great atmoshere and service.
Food was good, served reasonably quickly. They put the ceiling fans on when they didn't need to, which cooled down the pizza. Also they asked us if we wanted water, and instead of tap water they gave us bottled water at $5 on our bill. They should mention whether it is free or paid!
Sat and waited 20mins before they realised I was sitting at a table waiting to be served. Service was very poor. Food was average at best. Then they wanted to charge me for a side order I didn t ask for and even the waitress tried to apologise for the mistake !!
What a waste of an hour of my life !!!
Go at 5pm prior to the movies at Luna. Helpful staff and delicious pizza...can recommend "The Works ". Staff are alert and helpful around 530ish when there are hardly any patrons so can't comment on later
Good food, good service, well priced.
It used to be better 5 years ago, but it's still a great place to eat.
We've been going for 10years.
I don t usually write google reviews but I honestly feel as if this is necessary due to the rudeness of the staff here. I was out with my friend on a Sunday afternoon just wanting to catch up for a pizza and was greeted by the rudest staff member who looked like she didn t even want to be there. Sat for a further 20 minutes waiting to be served and the place was barely even busy. Got up and left in the end. Won t be returning.
My favourite pizza place. Pizzas at the best. Only gripe we ordered pizza and a bowl of chips and asked for them to be served together. Chips came out 5 minutes before the pizza
Food very average and no gluten free options. Used to be a great family restaurant but we won't be returning after our last visit!
We were looking for some Italian food in Fremantle and came across this place for lunch. Once we ordered, we had to wait for 30 mins to get garlic bread then another 10 after that to get main course. Even drinks took 30 mins to come and had to waive down the waitress 3 times to get water. This service is an absolute joke! Food was nice, complements to the chief, however I don't think we will be going back.
Food was good but staff were not ready to serve us water. When i went to get some water on my own they simply laughed and said, "we should employ him as top waiter".
Just went today... It was my second visit... The creamy mussels they served smelled a bit off... But the tortellini beef was ok.
Pizza Bella Roma, wow! The moment you walk past the smell entices you into the building. The staff were so friendly and accommodating with special food requirements. When the pizza arrived it was simply amazing! Best pizza in Perth to date. There is alot of seating for small to large groups and the decor gives you that old style Italian vibe. It's a must to try while on Freo
authentic italian menu with great choice of food, fantastic service & good value for money :)
I have been going to pizza bella roma since i was a little kipper. Their food never really dissapoints, their staff are a little off sometimes but thats because the past owners arnt around any more so its lost its love a bit. Other than that i love coming for a meal here.
Beautiful food, helpful staff. I Fremantle must do.
Yummy food, reasonably priced, hard working staff :)
Always a pleasure to eat there. Professional good old fashioned service and awsome food.
Just like the Old Days!! The flavours were perfect in the Tortellini and Spaghetti Bol. Great friendly service and will see you again. Thanks!
Ordered the seafood platter $36 which came out in 5 minutes flat, everything crumbed & deep fried including the 2 postage stamp sized fish portions, tasted like frozen Coles TV dinner, young waiter told other diners off for placing menu's face down. Very ordinary.
Myself and two friends syopped in on chance as we were walking don the street and could smell the beautiful smell coming out of the reastaraunt. I ordered a Lasagne which was extremely nice and tasty. My wife ordered a pizza and our friend ordered a spagetti carbonara. We all enjoyed our meals and the portions were of decent size and between the size of the portions and the quality of the meals the prices per dish were more than reasonable. Will definately go there again.
Great service, was disappointed with the freo lager, but the fish platter amazing, the seasoning on the chips, beautiful mussels, abundance of calamari, ample king prawns, topped with a grilled fish fillet.
Amazing food and fantastic service!!! Worth going. There's no parking out the front but that's the same for basically all the restaurants along Market St.
Best Pizza ever. Has been a favourite of mine for 20+ years
It was awful.
The lasagne was barely cooked, no crispy top just an overwhelming taste of tomato paste, I could only eat a quarter of it that was four hours ago and I still feel sick
My husband had calamari with chips just like hungry jacks but worse and for the first time in history he only ate half of the calamari
The water was tepid.
There was not one bottle of wine on the menu that we recognised and they were priced between 26-36 a bottle. so we forego that very doubtful treat
When I complained to the manager he said that was ok as everybody else enjoyed it
Great spot along the Freo strip to watch the world go by. Food is decent enough, a few things lack a bit of flavour. Very friendly staff.
Good quality solid pizza. I like it bit more crispy would score it higher. It s like 8.1
Calzone pizza, disgusting just thick crusty with lots of cheese inside. Not "Italian" but more like "American train station pizza junk". Kids had Hawaii, didn't taste like fresh baked pizza either. Very disappointing while not cheap either. Won't go there again, will stick to our local pizza hero at Coogee Plaza.
Beautiful meal great service. Very attentive staff. Will definitely go back again.
Wow we just had dinner there. First time for my fiance and daughter going there. The pizza was delicious. We will be going back again. Great service and staff friendly.
A bit packed, and the waitresses were working their hearts out at dinnertime. But the food was well worth it. Not the best, but everything was solid and worth the price - plus the location and outdoor seating ties it together.
Casual Italian restaurant with a nice atmosphere and great for people watching along the Cappuccino Strip. The food is very tasty, especially the pizza, but not quite as good overall as Ciao Italia. There is a 15% surcharge on public holidays and the menu is a little pricey. Service is good but not excellent and a lot of wait staff are backpackers from Europe. I d recommend the chili mussels, parmigiana with spaghetti and Peter s Special pizza.
The customer service is very good, a very good environment
Ok restaurant with ok service, but my veal was overcooked and they put a huge extra charge on top of the bill on holidays without pointing this out before seating you.
Our first visit at this restaurant today. And we were so impressed. Great customer service. Delicious food. And the younger boy that works here goes above and beyond to make sure all our needs were met with food being promptly served. Water readily available. Finished plates cleared away. Fresh cutlery provided upon request. Pizza Bella Roma is great!!! Thank you for a happy dining experience.
Very average food and service. Pity as it is in a great location.
Doesn't quite hit the mark for a restaraunt who pride themselves on pizza. A little bland. Cheaper and tastier next door. However, staff friendly, good location and always busy.
Been coming here for 30+ years, and have lots of great memories here with family going all the way back to when I was 7 years old.
Love the chilli mussels. Not overly spicy but huge amount and served quick.
Love this place. Good value Italian food with outdoor seating available. Pizza and glass of wine while people watching on the Capuccino Strip
Pizza was fantastic. Loaded with toppings. Staff were so friendly and genuine. Will be coming back for sure
Classic restaurant, never disappointed with my pizzas
Best prawns I've had in years. Plump, delicious. The garlic prawns are the best! Was very busy on a Saturday night but they seat you quickly. Service is good. Great atmosphere. My companions enjoyed their steak and pizza too. Very reasonable prices
Is not possible they do not have simple pizza like four cheese..or ingredient like basil in one Italian restaurant.. absolutely the wrost in my life
Love the food, was very impressed, service was a with a cheeky smile, cannot wait to go back again, highly recommend
Awesome food and great service only down side was it gets hot inside.
the pizza was horrible for an italian restaurant, too thick and poor flavour
