Great service, friendly and welcoming environment. The food was delious and we will be back again

Sauce spilt all over my shoes (both shoes and the only pair l am travelling with), waiter very apologetic and very sweet, the food was OK, missing sides though so had to wait for these. Nothing to write home about and no discounts offered for all the inconvenience of it all. Probably would not go back.

Tasty food. Good (however not well managed) service - we were asked if we like our order taken multiple times by different people, but once we did order, food arrived in good time. I feel it was a bit too pricey for what you get. I found a hair in my cannelloni, which was a bummer as that was definitely the best dish. Overall not fantastic, but not bad.

Absolutely wonderful food, not great for kids but would recommend it.

Freo maintains it's appeal because of places like Bella Roma, it's fine dining in a casual cafe style atmosphere being roadside to the action of this vibrant town. The food is as good as the service and frequently used by locals as well as tourists. If like me and you love your pizza, stop by!

Been coming this restaurant for over 10yrs. Has been always satisfied with food& service.

Revisited the place after a few years. Food was not as good as I remembered. My caesar salad consists of just a bit of shredded lettuce veg wise.
Service was still as friendly

Have been going here for years and see the changes to Freo over the years but they still have my favorite dish on the menu and you have to be happy with that...the meal size and the price make the line worth it.

I remember going to this restaurant when i was a child with my family, and now I go there with my own children and grandchildren. The atmosphere has not changed and the quality of food is fantastic with such a wide variety of food sure to please everybody. But please do not let forget the staff are so friendly, you feel like you are at home.

Great pizzas but steak not quite cooked as ordered but still acceptable. Service was excellent during off peak time.

Pizza was bland and made with cheap ingredients. At $32 we expected an authentic rustic Italian Pizza. The Pizza base looked and tasted like a brought frozen base. The pizza sauce was just uncooked, unseasoned canned tomatoes. The cheese was not buffalo mozarella cheese. I'm not sure what it was but it added nothing to the already bland flavour. If we had just looked inside first we would have seen that there was no woodfired oven, no one hand rolling fresh pizza dough and a baine marie full of cheap Dominoes style ingredients but less hygienic. We will never go back, I recommend going to Sandrino's next door instead.

Great really traditional Italian food. Reminds me of home cooking. Large menu selection and large servings

The middle aged woman who served us today is in serious need of training and the same goes to the chef/cook. Poor customer service and poor quality food that lack proper seasoning We will not be coming back!

Love the Chilli Mussels & Pizza. Oh don't forget the Garlic Bread.

Unprofessional service...you should wait more than 20 minuets and then you might realise that the waiter has forgotten to take ur order...they are really funny!

Then went back recently and it lived up to my memories the place is super cosy and great. The staff are friendly and the food is great. Their pizza is divine.

Generous servings, good flavours, little bit tightly packed.

Staff are extremely friendly, however I almost grew a beard during the prolonged wait for my meal.

Awful food. No atmosphere. Nothing Italian about this restaurant No table cloths. No Italian music.

Bread was cheap sliced supermarket rubbish
Parmesan cheese grated like dust resembling a cheap disgusting replica of parmesan and dumped on the table in a jar with a tea spoon
Sauces were all out of a packet mix
Beer served in a cheap short water glass
No Italian servers
Servers were polite friendly very rushed service but mainly Chinese servers!
No clue about Italian food or expectations
Out table was wobbly and sort of off balance leaning forward. Nothing was done to covet it the whole experience felt like eating in a canteen

Vegie pizza was great but avoid the seafood. Tinned mussels and prawns, too much smoked salmon.

Never had a problem here, an absolute must go for an italian night out.

A fav spot in Freo, the food is always excellent and the staff are very accommodating.

The worst pizza I ve ever had by far, just terrible and nothing Italian with thick crust and cheese. Will stick to my local for pizzas next time.

Great pizzas, always. Outside seating great for soaking up the atmosphere of the cappuccino strip.

Been here so many times and every time I love it. They try to help cater for allergies but they don t have gluten free pizzas.

Was my first time here yesterday for lunch and I really loved my experience then, staffs were very friendly! Food was amazing. I had Spaghetti Marinara and out of every restaurants I've been to and ordered the same. Pizza Bella Roma got the most seafoods portion of all, taste and portion wise -my fav too! Would definitely go again. Thank you for the great experience!

Fantastic casual Italian restaurant. Great food and attentive service. Busy and bustling. Not the place for a quiet fine-dining experience, but that's not what this restaurant is about.
