My wife and I worked with team at Pinckney to buy a car. We had an issue with original car we chose. They did everything they couple do to satisfy us and we bought a new vehicle from them. Bill was our salesman, he did a great job. The manager (I did not get his name) was fantastic. I would highly recommend going to Pinckney to buy a car.
I called ahead about a used car they had on their web site, told them I would come the next day to look at it and take it for a drive. Upon arriving the next day the car I wanted to look at was dirty and not cleaned. Even the wheels were dirty. It was hard to see the condition of the paint because of the filth. Totally lost my business. If I were a salesman and knew someone was coming to look at a certain car I'd make sure it was looking good for a potential sale. So, I'll look at other dealerships for clean detailed cars.
I went in knowing exactly what i wanted and had a trade-in as well. Wayne (McGregor) answered my questions and inquiries professionally. My customer experience was very smooth. Essentially made a deal and i was out the door in a short period of time with my new vehicle. Thanks Wayne.
Tyler Angerbrandt made leasing my new 1500 a breeze. I specified my needs over the phone and within 15 minutes he sent me options at a great deal. We set up an appointment for the next business day and took delivery quickly. Minimal time was spent making the deal and signing paperwork. I usually don t write reviews, but their exceptional service deserves it!

Took my (non-Dodge!) truck in for a slow leak in the tire. My Service Advisor Sean Murphy handled the issue professionally, and had the technician Sam Wood find the issue quickly. As of this time, one week after the repair, the tire has not lost air. The selling dealership could not fix the issue, but Pinckney Chrysler took care of it at a nominal cost, in money and time. I'm happy to have my non-warranty work done at this service center!

Called, interested in a used vehicle. We did credit pre-approval, asked them many times to not apply to any banks for a loan until after we agreed on a price. We never agreed on a price, but they sure sent our credit to banks for approval. Called sales manager and the bank(s) to find out what happened and why, still no answers. Will never step foot in there again. Thankfully I had a very easy, quick and painless purchase at Brighton Ford, and got a brand new car for the same amount they wanted for the used one on their lot.

Erica Sawallich was the service technician that greeted me and took care of my truck. I cannot say enough great things about her and how my experience went. She is an impeccable employee and always makes me feel comfortable at the dealership.
Dan Glowacki was the technician that completed the work on my truck. He did a great job and I love the results. My truck was treated with respect and I was impressed with the cleanliness of the shop.

I purchased a 2010 Dodge Ram from Pinckney. I had searched all summer long all over the internet and in my area. I found this online and and the day I went down I stopped at several dealers. Most trucks were outside my budget, year, mileage requirements. This one was seemed too good to be true. I arrived and checked out the truck. It was everything I wanted. I would have like cruise control thrown in, but it was already a great deal and they said that was as low as they could go. It began to rain and I wanted to take a closer look at the truck. They pulled it in the garage for me. The salesman and service people were very kind and patient as I made a call to a friend as well. It was a big decision for me and I did not feel pressured to have to decide right then. They were great and I would definitely look there again for a vehicle.
I couldn't be more pleased with my experience at Pinckney Chrysler. Dealing with John, Tyler & Scott was a delightful experience. Not only did they have the utmost respect and professional attitude but never pressured me into making a decision and took the time for me to feel comfortable with the major purchase decision I was making. The best experience I have ever had at a dealership. On a Saturday sat with Mr bill, had me in a car in less then 2 hours. Every one was very friendly.
My sales guy Wayne was great. He understood my requirements for purchasing a new truck and at the speed and price I was wanting. He was competitive and beat my best quote from another dealership I had a prior relationship with. It was worth the drive to Pickney from the metro Detroit area. I saved money, got exactly what I wanted and drove it home an hour later. I even bought a few extras for my new Ram. I highly recommend Pickney & Wayne.
Bought my Jeep there under the "tires for life" program...came in religiously for oil changes and tire rotations and relied on the service people to keep me on the right track so when it was time for tires I would be all set...well guess what..I did not get the proper advice and counsel from the service writers and just found out the owner denied the request to honor the tire program. My initial instinct was correct that I should have never taken my Jeep there for any services in the first place, to say I am extremely disappointing would be an understatement, go elsewhere to purchase and service your car.
Yes...so you said...if you read my review, and as you know, I religiously took my car for oil changes and tire rotations, and your service writers did an extremely poor job of advising me on the services that my Jeep required. I suppose I saved enough money from NOT getting those services at your prices to pay for the tires that were denied.
I bought a used car on Oct 8th. During the test drive, everything was fine. Before taking it home, I asked if something major goes wrong with it in next few days, will you take care of it. They said Yes. The same night I drove it home and reached higher speeds than on the test drive. I heard a noise coming from the rear like a tire going bad. The next day I contacted the dealership and they said to bring it in and we can look at it.
Most recently I had trip up north planned so I took it to a VW dealer for oil change and inspection since they are closer than Pickney. They told me the rear tires are in bad shape and should be replaced. I gave this information to Pickney who now says they can't do anything about it.
Well on our way up north, the passenger rear tire when flat. I was able to make it to a tire shop and showed me the tire was falling apart. I immediately called Pickney and they at first said there is nothing they can do. After five hours and gone by and numerous phone calls, they agreed to pay for one tire. I asked them to pay for two tires since they should of been caught during their so called "safety inspection."
The way I see it, the tires should be replaced before selling the car due to a safety concern. I am not happy with the outcome and will not be doing any more business with them.
Just drove home my new 2017 Jeep Patriot! I love my car! My salesman TC is the best! He was able to get me out of a lease a year early and into my own car. TC found me the perfect used car in my price range. Very knowledgeable, helpful and kind. Everyone at the dealership was great! I will definitely be sending family and friends to Pinckney Chrysler and definitely telling them to ask for TC!

I had my oil change and tires rotated, when I got home I noticed that the mechanic couldn't put hubcaps on correctly. I'm not talking one tire I'm talking all 4. I called to talk to the service man Chris and got his voice mail and asked him to call me back and told him the problem. Well I drove from Gregory to Pinckney and no call when I pulled in he said I got your message. But never called back. My question was if the hubcaps can't get put back on correctly then how do I rate the service was it done correctly.
Certainly not my first car (more like my 15th) but the first time I ve been treated this well by a dealership. Helpful, courteous, knowledgeable, and unbelievable customer service. If I could give negative stars, I would. I bought a truck from them back in 2014 and it was the absolute worst decision I ve ever made. I had it less than 5 days and driven it less than 100 miles when the catalytic converter went out. Contacted them about what they could/would do, especially because I purchased an extended warranty from them, what a joke. They basically told me to go whistle. The warranty doesn t cover that . Okay...how about being cool because I ve had this less than a week? Yeah...no. But you can buy the OEM part yourself through us AND pay 800 dollars in labor to our techs to install it for you! What a bunch of swindling crooks. Used car salesmen aren t all bad, I m sure, but this place definitely lives up to all the stereotypes. Avoid at all costs, OR at the very least don t spend one single penny more than just the car if you are a glutton for punishment and making bad decisions.
In response to their reply: I will admit that if their staff list is accurate, neither people who made my experience horrible are shown as current staff members.
Positives:
Comparable rates, great sales staff, financing staff, and owner. Dealership provided pizza, pop, and water while we waited. Staff helped me move my belongings from my old to new car. The issues that we had with the new car were scheduled for repair before we left the dealership. Very personable, courteous, and knowledgeable staff. Will definitely return.
Negative:
Today when we came to the dealership - they were understaffed. It sounded like a perfect storm of employees unable to come to work for various reasons. They also forgot to show me the features of my new vehicle in detail - but due to the short staff, we were there late after the dealership closed, and i think everyone was ready to leave and go get lunch - around 4pm.
Although we were there a longer wait time, and didn't get a full vehicle demo - it wouldn't deter me from going back to this dealership. I still give five stars for the overall experience.

Good prices . but once you sign for your vehicle . They are not your friends no more . check everything on your vehicle before like oil , loose trim , and trans , they won't favor you at all after you sign . I hope they change

Purchased a new vehicle and had a great experience. After contacting dealerships in Livingston county, Lansing, Flint and surrounding areas they had the best price at a higher trim level than anyone else. The dealerships pitch is family like service and Christian values which can be a little in your face. It's not an issue but part of their "experience".
Our sales rep Bill was very helpful, not pushy but also not afraid to sell a car. They sell extended warranties like all dealerships but they spring it and it's price on you while sorting out the financing. It is a very underhanded tactic in my opinion along with the way they use their "fabric and paint protection" services. Do your research, keep them honest and you will probably have a good experience getting your next vehicle from them.

I was so happy to return to Pinckney Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM (from Flint) for the second consecutive lease with them. Matthew Van Ingen was my salesman, and he explained the different options I had for a new lease and how different vehicles matched more or less my own desires for a new vehicle. When it came time to pick-up my new car, everything was great and hygienic. The car was ready to go, and he explained different features in the car that I was not familiar with. I can't imagine getting a vehicle from any other dealership in the future as long as Dan Hall is in charge.
I just bought my third vehicle in a row from PCDJ. They are awesome! I put a LOT of miles on my vehicle because I am a mobile notary. My last vehicle was a Jeep Grand Cherokee Larado that I purchased used. I drove it for more than 7 years. I traded it in on a 2013 Jeep Patriot because I had decided I didn't need as much room "in back" anymore and would be happy getting more MPG's. My new Jeep fits the bill perfectly!
I also take my vehicles to PCDJ for service and have for years. Occasionally there are slip-ups in the service, but they have ALWAYS gone out of their way to take care of anything that does go wrong. Plus, they let me know when something will not be covered by a warranty so that I can better plan for my repairs and finances.
The only thing I would recommend is that if you sign up/are eligible for any special programs, such as "Tires for Life" make sure that you understand the limits and/or requirements. IE: Tires for Life doesn't cover road hazard. You can buy coverage for that seperately, either from Chrysler or from PCDJ. In my case, however, they actually did replace a tire for me at no cost that was damaged, despite my not having the road hazard coverage, because I had not understood the difference at the time. Subsequently, I purchased the Road Hazard Coverage for any future problems (this was on my previous, used vehicle. I purchased the R.H. warranty from Chrysler for my new vehicle).

The first dealership I went to tried to squeeze as much money out of me as they could, so I went here instead and had a great experience. Bill worked hard to find me a great deal and I got a new car in a very short amount of time. I purchased a new Jeep Grand Cherokee from Hall Chrysler in Mishawaka, Indiana in 2011. At the time they offered a "Tires for life" promotion as long as you had all the recommended services performed at their dealership. Today I went to Mishawaka Chrysler for service and was informed the dealership was sold in 2013. The new owners of Michiana Chrysler will not honor the promotion so I called Hall Chrysler in Pinckney this morning to see what my options were and was told they will not honor it either. I guess I will be buying my own "tires for life"
HORRIBLE SERVICE DEPARTMENT. DO NOT USE for Oil change- I took my new Ram 3500 Diesel truck in that has only 60k miles, paid over $200 for an oil change and thought all should be good to go and drove up north- I got up north and noticed a ticking noise, got out and could see oil splattered all over the truck. I looked underneath and could see oil dripping from the oil pan. I was extremely upset, took the truck back and they did nothing about ruining my weekend- truck possibly ruined from the ignorance of whoever did the oil change and all the time I had to run around bringing the truck back in. They did not try to make it right. They didn't even clean off the oil splattered all over the truck. I will NEVER use them again-Horrible Service Dept. My antifreeze fluid was low too when I took it in for the oil change and they did NOTHING about filling the fluids. Don't waste your Money and Time- go somewhere else. Also- The owner has not even called to talk to me about this either.

It was a great experience at this dealer for the 2nd time i have bought a ram 1500 from Andrew johnson a year ago and this last weekend 12-12-20 me and my went back and picked up a 2018 Dodge Journey gt and are sales guy was matthew van ingen he was great salesmen never pushed us to buy anything and was very informative about the vehicle we were looking at. I will be back for my next truck for sure
Absolutely the best dealership we have dealt with. These people know their stuff. After taking our 2017 Ram dually to 2 other dealers only to be told there was nothing wrong, we brought the vehicle here. And boy are we glad we did. Problem was diagnosed and fixed with in a week. Treated with the utmost respect and were kept in the loop every step of the way. Heck they even have a snow brush in their loaner vehicles. When we are ready for a new car, this is where we will be shopping. Highly recommend them.
(As I finished writing the post and read it again I realized I should preface my post. I really did have this experience. Even rereading it now I am surprised how smoothly things went considering how skeptical I was at the start. Anyhow .. enjoy the story.)
I am about to celebrate my first week with my new car and I couldn't be happier. This is the first used car purchase experience that I have been though solo and I think it went very well. I am an engineer and have been told in the past that I over think everything .. I suppose that could be possible. :-)
In my case the dealership had just discounted the car and they were getting a lot of calls on it so I had to make a few decisions a bit faster then I wanted but the sales, management and finance team made the experience as comfortable as I could have hoped.
From the start they were nothing but attentive and helpful. I emailed the dealership and got a quick response from Jacquelynn Skidmore who sent me the carfax vehicle history information as a .PDF per my request when I had some difficulties pulling it up online.
When I got there for my test drive Dave Bryant went with me for a spin down the rolling and slightly winding roads near the dealership. On the drive I noticed a slight vibration when I hit the brakes and ask that they look into it. They had the mechanic take a look at it and they replaced the pads and rotors for me which completely fixed the issue I had prior to delivering the car to me. I say delivered because I work in Livonia about 45 minutes away and had no way to get out there so Jacquelynn and Dave arranged for a few gentlemen to drop the car off at my office. I was very impressed with the support I got.
Throughout the purchase process I keep running into extras that I didn't ever plan on. For starters the dealership offered a very attractive range of warranty options. 5 years and 100,000 miles FROM THE TIME OF PURCHASE was music to my ears. I feel so much more comfortable knowing the major components of the vehicle are covered .. even the all wheel drive parts and way to many others to mention here. The vehicle I purchased also qualified for a program called "Tires For Life" that I would ask about. Now I don't have to worry about my tires for the life of the vehicle either. I even talked to Jacquelynn yesterday and she got the information of the detailing solution they used because I really enjoyed the way the car turned out.
Bottom line .. I would suggest this dealership to anyone that is looking for the experience I described above. I am sure I left things out but I hope you are getting my point.

My family and I were on our way to Georgia from Canada when the battery light came on in our van. After it stayed on for a bit we decided we had better pull over and get it checked. We stopped at a couple different places and were finally directed to the Dodge dealership in Pinckney. Once we arrived there our van completely died. The alternator was gone. From the moment we walked in were treated like we were there only client. Upon checking inventory they realized that our alternator was a special stock item and would need to be ordered. They decided to call around to other locations in the area to see if any had one in stock. They finally found one 30 mins away and sent someone to get it for us. We realize that in most places they would just tell us that it would be ordered and be there the next day. They knew we were travelling and wanted us back on the road as quickly as possible. They have an excellent lounge for you to wait in and we were even able to charge our cell phones while there. It took a while as they had to go get the part and then install it but we were so thankful that we were finally back on the road that day and off to Georgia. All things considered it was an excellent experience and if I did live in the area I would definitely be getting my next new car there. Thanks to all who helped get us back on our way so quickly.
Dan Hall is a cut above. Dont find many like him, and certainly not in the car business. Wonderful man who has built a business in which his employees are like family. Many customers come back year after year, vehicle after vehicle, to see familiar faces and recieve great deals and World Class customer service. Its amazing, and unheard of in 2019, to see employees in their Sales, Service, and Parts departments with 10+ , 20+ , and even 40 + years employment in the same building. Pinckney Chrysler is a rare find.
Great experience, received well - found a couple of things wrong with the car I had chosen and the team immediately took care of the problem and delivered the car to my home the next day. Andrew is a great salesperson to work with. He was prompt with numbers and attentive to our needs. We looked at and drove a few vehicles before making our decision. Very smooth process to turn in a previous lease and transition to a new one. The service department has also been very nice to deal with.
