Our room was lovely and the staff were great. The food in the restaurant was delicious but a bit pricy. Some noise issues with other guests but we would definitely stay there again.

Staying here for a work event for three nights and it has been an excellent experience. Rooms are clean and very well decorated, staff has been very friendly so far, food and beverages are great as well.

Have used spa services a few times and absolutely love it. Would highly recommend.

Rooms are a modest size for the price point. Amenities include; spa, outdoor hot spring, indoor pool, restaurant and bar. The hotel also provides a courtesy shuttle that makes travel around the downtown area convenient.

Went for lunch and a spa day. Was a tad disappointed because we made a reservation at the Cannery for lunch and apparently it wasn't opened that day for lunch which was not indicated on the website and we had to eat at the Lounge instead. The spa experience was awesome and the staff were really nice and did a really good job

Vintage hotel, so don't expect modern design. Conference Halls are quiet nice, wooden panelling as far as the eye can see. Staff is great, friendly and helpful.

Great location within walking distance to the town centre. Comfortable spacious rooms with a lovely spa and outdoor swimming pool

I'll preface this by saying the on-site staff were very nice and accommodating, but...

Absolutely the most disappointing hotel I've stayed in. The bathroom was covered in mold. Ceiling, door frame, wallpaper (?), window sill...all covered in black mold.

The TV was broken (constant static), the wallpaper was peeling, the paint was scuffed off the walls, it was dirty, the towel rack was falling off the wall...

And this was the second room we moved to, as the first one was so moldy it was triggering allergies.

Just an absolutely disappointing mess. I've stayed in better motels.

Wonderful weekend getaway spent here! The 5 of us girls had an incredible time. The staff are hospitable and make the impossible, possible! They extended themselves going above and beyond every time to make our stay unforgettable and comfortable- we re making this an anual trip!

Really enjoyed this hotel. The amenities offered here are incredible. The food was really delicious at the buffet, the bedroom was clean, comfy and very large, and the staff was quick and friendly with check in and out. We arrived as a corporate event and they accommodated us quite well. I recommend going to the spa, it is very enjoyable and the staff are all really amazing. I received the aromatherapy massage and thoroughly enjoyed it. The location is pretty central and there are plenty of wineries in the area. Really the only downfall to this hotel is how confusing it is to get to your room because the place is big but a map will help. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

It's a nice Inn located in the town in the middle of a neighbourhood. Staff were friendly, good service and a decent restaurant and bar. Lots to do in the area, specifically if you like vineyards and small shops. They have a Small pool, hot tub area and a spa/saunas etc. If you get the right room you'll be ok. Assuming you aren't brining a pet, Be sure to request to be put in an area of the Inn where there are no pets. And have a meal at the Old Angel Inn. Excellent restaurant near by.

Beautiful wedding in a beautiful hotel. Staff was attentive and helpful, food was good, and venue was gorgeous.

It's a nice quaint bar, what you'd expect. It was great they were open Christmas day. Because it was Christmas day likely explains why they were understaffed. Service was notably slow. Who wants to work Christmas afternoon?
The beer selection was large but all the same. If you have six taps, why no porter or stout? The perfect pint for winter. The menu looked good but nothing small to snack on between the large family breakfast and the upcoming massive family dinner.
I did like the atmosphere.

Beautiful place. Amazing breakfast. Only issue I has was our room was damp and the ac was not strong enough to pull the moisture out of the room and the bathroom does not have a exhaust fan. I need to mention we had the outdoor rooms which probably doesn't help and they look like old rooms compared to the reSt of the hotel. The spa is amazing. The pools and hot spring is fantastic. It is pricey but if you can splurge for a night or two , I highly recommend it.

Visited during Covid. Was still very nice. Probably give 5 stars post-Covid.

Wonderful welcoming atmosphere. Hot spring and saltwater pool are fantastic. Lunch was great too.

As soon as we arrived a very cheerful person, Sherry, invited my wife and I for some wine, awesome.
Great staff, very polite. Room is cute and clean.
However, ordered a cheese/fruit plate (cheese plate came with jam), but no knife.
Our wine was mixed up, that was fixed promptly. But being in Ontario's wine country, and being charged $100 for the bottle, one would expect to have proper wine glasses and not the banquet generic ones.
Front desk team did their best to fix that, but unfortunately delivered what looks like water glasses.
Overall, nice place, but over priced and more attention to detail is needed.

Location was easy to find. Services was quick and readily attended. Great wine tasting will be back!

We just had a drink and a bite in the lounge, so that's all this review covers. That said, the bar area was infested with fruit flies and the ambiance was, in general, quite sad. Service was cheerful and polite, but very slow. Our food was quite good, but that's about all I can say to recommend the place, hence the two star review.

Staff is super friendly!! Went for the spa services and they're all super knowledgeable. There's a quiet lounge area to wait for you appointment or to relax in between the pool, sauna, hot spring, hot tub or steam room. Nice lounging beds by the pool. Facilities are quite clean.
You go for a few hours and you feel like you've been there all day.

Had a perfect dinner here tonight. Service was fast, menu was interesting and execution on all items was spot on ... no middle of the road dishes here ... all were very tasty and fully flavoured with generous portions. Would highly recommend to any and all.

Great place to spend the day or weekend. Can't beat the outdoor hot tub and the outdoor pool and lounge area is fantastic to spend a nice summer afternoon.

I got my nails done at the spa- this was wonderful. The outdoor patio was jam packed and the wait staff taking care of the outdoor tables seemed overwhelmed and were not very accommodating. Usually I have a great experience here.

The spa was great! Hot springs, relaxation rooms, what's not to like. My girlfriend got a facial and I had a deep tissue massage.

First time at this Inn & Spa and just went there for the day with my sister. Check in at the spa was easy and the receptionist was very helpful and informative. The spa change rooms are clean and well maintained. My manicurist, Linda, was a pleasure. She was friendly and very thorough at making my nails and my experience an amazing one. The service includes access to all spa amenities and you get slippers and a robe. You can eat at the restaurant while in your robe and slippers which is a treat, making you feel more relaxed and comfortable. Majority of the people in the restaurant were from the spa so you didn't feel out of place in your spa attire. I would definitely return for another visit!

This is a perfect retreat if you need a quick escape to recharge!

If you want to be pampered and have a completely relaxing stay you will enjoy the Pillar and Post.

Only visited the spa at the Pillar and post but loved it there. Awesome time to relax in the hot springs or the indoor saltwater pool. Will come again. Service and people very nice too.

We visited the Pillar and Post this weekend as a friend was hosting her wedding there. We didn't stay at the hotel but had breakfast there two days in a row as it was the closest to where we were staying. Their breakfast buffet is delicious, lots of variety and great price too. For the wedding, the ceremony was beautiful at the Rose Garden and the reception was a blast - the ballroom decor looked amazing as well. The food was delicious and the staff was great. We all had a great time and would definitely recommend the Pillar and Post.

Excellent dinner experience. Food was lovely. Try the "surf and turf" if it's available as a special of the night.

Went there for a wedding.

The venue is beautiful. The ceremony was held in the rose garden which in early spring the trees are blooming and provided a gorgeous scene. The reception was held in the Upper Canada Hall which is warm and very classic.

The staff are very helpful and work together to help make sure the event goes as smoothly as possible.

The food is, as my wife said, "the best wedding food we've ever had." Salmon cooked and still moist, steaks cooked medium rare, unlike the dry cardboard that most wedding food ends up like.

The dinner service was super smooth with staff being as helpful and unobtrusive as possible.

Definitely think events hosted here will be well with it.

We went to Pillar with 12 friends. It was a much needed weekend away. We found a bug in our room. We called and asked for someone to come and remove it. It was huge. We left our room and came back to take a shower. There was no soap we waited 20 mins for soap. After the shower went to get changed and there s was another bug on our bed. Disgusting. We called and they told us to move rooms. We moved to a terrible area of the hotel. We were offered free breakfast. Gee thanks. We didn t sleep a wink thinking about those massive bugs in our rooms. The end up being stink bugs ... not because anyone from the hotel told us but because we looked it up ourselves. Dinner at Cannary was tasteless. We are Europeans and flavour our food. Monday I spoke to the manager and he offered nothing more for the inconvenience. Terrible mannerism and service.

The food is amazing. Highly recommend the prime rib and double smoked bacon wrapped filet. The spa was wonderful.

Looks like a lovely place...hiwever I was there just for a massage. Price for 50 min was $140 and was just ok.

Great staff, very accomodating. Rooms look a bit tired, but clean.

This is a beautiful inn with a special events restaurant, the Cannery. The interior was attractive, service was great and the the food was very good. Fresh baked bread, steaks, seafood and innovative desserts. We had creme brulee with peaches in the custard. Delicious! The building was once a peach cannery, so this was an innovative touch. Well done!

A total gem. This old cannery has been magnificently converted to a luxury inn. The inn is expansive and includes all the amenities you would expect from a larger resort, and the Pillar and Post does it with style. Beautiful courtyard, a great gym and spa, wonderful food and friendly and attentive staff. Plus it is right beside the paved walking/jogging trails and a short walk from the downtown. We had such an amazing time for our belated anniversary get away! The hotel is amazing, and the food is out of this world!! The staff and servers go above and beyond for their customers. It s so close to the lake and downtown as well. We went to the outside hot spring after dinner which was a perfect touch to end the evening. I would definitely recommend this place. Very romantic!

A former canning factory converted into a beautiful Inn & Spa - beautiful rooms, excellent service in every area of the facility and absolutely great food! Can't beat sitting by the outdoor pool on a nice sunny day and having a drink brought to you from the bar or a meal from the kitchen! Very accommodating staff. The shuttle service from one Vintage Hotels location to another in town was awesome, as was the Trolley Winery Tours! Vintage Hotels - one of the best hotel groups there is!

We had a terrible experience from being given the wrong room, having to deal with rude staff, and a very over crowded hotel. Nothing was the way it was promised and described; I will never use this hotel ever again, nor would I recommend it to anyone. The rating is below zero and not even one star.

I needed a rest..my body was not happy after a car accident years ago. I found this on a travel site as a pkg deal and it has a outdoor hot spring also...plus it came with excellent reviews. And...I cannot say enough about my experience! Everyone was pleasant, helpful and positive! I am disabled and use a cane. They did everything possible to make me feel welcome and comfortable! I would definitely recommend this hotel! The hotel, the staff and even the other guests made the experience incredible! THANK YOU!!

Our go to in Niagara on the Lake. The outdoor pool area is lovely. Handy the bike path.

A beautiful stay, we were celebrating my husbands birthday. Its a lovely inn and we had a comfortable room, it was a shame that there were no king size beds available when Hannah checked us in. Also the spa was fully booked as well. Hopefully next time. Our meal in the lounge was delicious and our visit to the Cannery for dinner was fabulous and service was just outstanding as well at both places. Our server Kayleigh was warm and friendly, we chatted at length, it was a welcoming feeling at this inn. We would definitely visit again. It was a travelzoo voucher which also included a tasting at The Hare Winery. It was a lovely getaway during these stressful times.

Such a lovely, rustic spot to stay at. The complementary access to the outside pool, indoor hot tub and hot springs was very enjoyable. The employees were very nice and attentive.
