Waste of time... ur reply is way to late one and two I'd have a better chance on my own u weren't there when I actually needed it that's just one of ur biggest problems along with so many others u all offer help when its to late to do anything. Ppl wait to long for u all to act to help them find jobs or resources along with other organizations to long to react to help. There aren't any excuses good enough for it either.

The staff there are rude and nasty. The employee at the Pikes Peak Workforce Center, are more interested in monitoring people through there tools to see how many people are printing document over a certain amount of pages, than helping people actually find employment. The employee at the Pikes Peak Workforce Center, are more interested in monitoring people through there tools to see how many people are accessing the websites on the internet that are not related to a job search. The hiring events are with companies that are seeking call center phone workers or hotel cleaners most of the time, not for the Higher Degreed or Educated person. When you are greeted at front office location of the Pikes Peak Workforce Center, your ID is scanned in, so they have already accounted for you using their services that is funded by your tax dollars, given to the Federal Gov't. Then you are told to proceed to the back room, to be monitored. That's fine if you need to be monitored or helped, but when you just want to fax something out or print out a document. Going to the back room where 20 people are just sitting around doing the same job is over kill. I know that most of the very unhappy personnel staff whom work there are from the Department of Human Services, you can just tell from their sour, nasty, negative attitude which they carry around with them. The people who are just volunteers, at the Pikes Peak Workforce Center are always very cheerful and happy, now something is wrong with that picture. If you are seeking help with the following don't count on any help from employees at the Pikes Peak Workforce Center: Help writing a resume, Help with Connecting with a Employer to get a job, References, and Interview Questions. (forget about it, there's nobody to help you!) At some point the Pikes Peak Workforce used to give you information about obtaining information about getting certification training, but I don't see that information given out. It must be, the best guarded secret now! Who knows! Keep trying to save on ink for printers instead of letting people print out documents that they need. Remember, you wouldn't have a job if it wasn't for my tax dollars funding the place! Go Figure!

They do not help anyone! In the youth program or with job huntin, they string you along for the first couple of weeks! Promise you workshops that they do not like teaching. It's a waste of funding and time to be honest. You also jump through hoops trying to reach out to any of the youth counselors.

Horrible staff! Called to get details about an online registration for Career Guidance and was given a date and time. Then I go on there at the date and time given and there is nothing. So I called again to find out what the issue was and they told me it was the previous date and I missed it. Then the program runs out of money and wont go into effect until July!!! 4 months from now!!! Idiots! You can't get that time back and I missed an opportunity that I desperately needed because they don't have their s#@$ together!? Worthless government and I'm expected to pay state taxes to fund this s!%&??

I spoke with Daniel this morning and not only was he patient with my many questions, but he took the time to explain the answers thoroughly and made sure he had all of the correct information for me. He gave exceptional customer service. Thank you Daniel!

I have been unemployed since November of 2016, but I have yet to find employment similar to my experience in white collar IT roles. I have taken many classes and have had my resume reviewed multiple times, though the inputs I receive are inconsistent and, sometimes contradictory. I've received suggestions for roles making 30% of what I should make ($70K), which isn't enough to survive on, even though I've drastically reduced expenses. I sometimes wait for days to hear back from people, because they're on vacation or they're doing a seminar or are otherwise busy. My biggest fear is that if I post this, I'll be black-balled out of a lot of good opportunities, but I must speak out. Simultaneously, PPWFC must get more funding if they are to serve people like me. I work hard and just want a GOOD job.

The biggest drawback I found is that virtual work shops are not on site at centers where you can get assistance to access etc.
You either have to visit a friends, library or do w/o. I think workers at workforce who are on the payroll and have knowledge are the ppl to help at the centers.

Beth is a energy dynamo and helped us set up and promote our first hiring event. We had a good turn out and we wound up hiring 3 people. They can also do a free spot on TV for your organization, with "Get a Job Monday," sponsored by Eric Singer and the Gazette.

I was unemployed for two years. Went to PPWFC over 55 times. Had 3 different counselors because there is a high turnover rate. Each new counselor made me restart my resume from the beginning, even though the previous one was perfect. This place needs to be closed. Stop wasting taxpayer money. I now work, but no thanks to ppwfc.

I had to go in and prove I was in compliance for UI. Absolutely mortifying. It seems Colorado UI now has the PPWFC calling adults in like grade achoolers to show their work applications and ensure said adults are applying for work as required. I had to put off a real interview to deal with more bureaucracy. I hated it. It was demeaning having my integrity questioned. Having to prove myself. Completely unnecesary and tax dollars wasted.

They have some really good resources and everytime I've been there the employees are very helpful. The only thing that could make it better is if they had information on adult classes etc...

Felt like they just wanted to turf me to a pc. Fill out the form and check the website. Excuse me I checked the website for jobs Before! I came in. Not at all helpful. Also when I came in staff just sat at their desk, but there was no seat for a client. Talk about being unwelcome.

5 minutes late and the appointment you signed up for (a week prior) is canceled.. Awesome. The mission is good, but flawed. No leniency whatsoever. Who cares if you drove clear across town to be there, and took time out of your day.

I have been on unemployment and received a letter about my job attached status changing but the letter was missing a lot of information as far as what is expected of me and exactly how to go about meeting their expectations so I called in and luckily got to speak with a very nice, very knowledgable person named Nancy. She not only explained everything to me in detail that was connected to the PPWC, she also clarified a lot of information sent by unemployment that was very vague and unhelpful. I appreciate people who do their jobs well and are helpful where they can be! If everyone could be more helpful to each-other, no doubt this world would be a better place. I can tell Nancy took pride in her work and could be trusted that she gave me accurate information and for that I wanted to give kudos where they were due! Great job Nancy! Keep spreading your light!!!!

This place a a wonderful resource for people of all skill and education levels for job hunting assistance. The staff is very friendly, and knowledgeable about resume writing, effective job searching, and interview feedback. I have also been to several of their job fairs in town, and they are always efficient and well prepared for the public and the employers. If you ever find yourself in need of a resume boost, or assistance finding your next step in your career you would be missing out on a great resource if you didn't go check these guys out.

The staff are the most wonderful caring people! They really go above and beyond to help you anyway they can. Pikes Peak Workforce Center and the community as a whole is very lucky to have them. Thank you all for all that you do!!

The men and women at the Pikes Peak Workforce Centers satellite facility are truly awesome and care equally about helping all unemployed people find a job.
They gave me the time, attention and help that I needed to email resumes as well as got me an interview the same day that I was there.
Honest to God when I was walking out of the facility I hadn't even exited thru the front door before my phone was ringing in the lobby with a temporary job offer!!!!!
I'm still pinching myself to make sure I wasn't dreaming it. A job is a job. Even temp work is a job. I don't care. Temp. Jobs always can turn into permenant jobs.
Thank you very much to the staff there, your AWESOME!!!

How does the government find all these bitter individuals to work for them. Go to any corperation and the employees will treat you with respect. Go to any government funded facility and people act like youre interrupting their day. What do they ask at their job interviews? Do you hate your life? Good you're hired!

Some of the employees will ACTUALLY try to help you if happen to be there when they are working. And others will help with the basics and move on. And if they had tons of people to assist, it would be understandable, but most of them go right back to what they were doing: which was nothing. And some people that come in there actually be wanting to get a job and want to put their best foot forward and those are the ones that should be given more than a second glance.
