I had tons of questions and they were so patient and always gave me plenty of scenarios to ensure I made informed decisions. I have already recommended them to other potential homebuyers. Wouldn't suggest . We've tried with them and had a not so good experience. Given it was some time ago, but none the less, it was the 1st one we attempted. It seems like most of their reviews are high raving. Looking at their facebook the reviews seems fake. My experience wasn't a good one. The loaner I worked with was very lack there of and only seem to want to pull in numbers. Glad we've chose different.

After spending the time to send the pile of paperwork and personal records to refinance, they are too busy to do my refi. First I get an excuse and then nothing. So glad I hadn't paid the $3,000 to refinance. Waste of time, have the decency to tell people you are not accepting any more refinances at this time and save people the hard inquiry on their credit!

Pike Creek experience was excellent from the time I applied with application to my closing. Sean Foley does his job seamlessly. Prompt, efficient and courteous. Sean left no page unturned and pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend Pike Creek Mortgage.

They preapproved me for a home nearly $800,000 I paid to have it built from the ground up the builder got $47,000 of my money one day before closing they canceled the loan I would be where of this mortgage company they do not know how to operate and it s sad because this was the second loan I was getting from them I purchased a house before with them and everything went fine but I ll never use them again ...

We have used Pike Creek Mortgage 5 times now for our starter home, 2 re-finances, a beach house, and most recently our new home. We have experienced nothing less than phenomenal customer service and each time they make the process easy as can be. We cannot imagine giving our business to any other company and highly recommend their services. From the friendly receptionist, to our personable loan officer to the quick and flawless settlements, this place deserves high marks all around.

Spoke to a loan officer at Pike Creek, offerred me a compelling rate and lender credit, I took the time to fill out an application and have them run a hard credit check only to find out the next day that the lender credit would be reduced by 80%. Questionable business tactics. Wouldn't recommend.

We purchased our dream summer/retirement home with the help of Nick DiEmidio. He made the process a very positive experience. We have used Pike Creek Mortgage before to refinance our primary residence and recommend them highly.

Nick was very rude and condescending. I don't think he has the ability to allow conversation or dialogue.When you talk to him it's awkward silence, and just all out Unprofessionalism. He made the experience brutal. I would NEVER ever go with them again. If for any reason, I, in the future would need a loan, I would rather go with a company who had Loan Officers who respect their clients and our knowledgeable. I'm sorry but Nick left a bad taste in our mouth. I've listend in on all the calls he's had with my wife and he was just all out rude. How he is employed is beyond me? I heard the last conversation he had with my wife and she asked a question and he goes " go look at the paperwork I sent you" Rudely said by the way... It took everything in me not to grab that phone. Isn't your job as a Loan officer is to help and guide your client, Nick? Oh and let me guess, you guys will reply " I don't see or couldn't find your name , please call us" HA! Not worth it. Nick? If you read this, Treat people with respect. Talk to them respectfully and don't be condescending? I'm sure Pike Creek may be a good Loan service, but that guy was just rude. Nick you need to be in another field. Loan officer may not be for you.

My fiance Elyse and I recently bought our first home. We had such a great experience with Mike Doherty. He was extremely helpful and caring. The WORST!
June 16, 2020 I sent Pike Creek all my documents needed to receive a pre-approval. My loan officer got back to me within a few hours that same day with a pre-approval letter. (I was so happy and ready) However it was a complete disaster. The main contingent was I had to sell my current home in order to purchase a new property. My home went on the market July 9th and was under contract by July 15th. We settled on August 3rd. Pike Creek Mortgage didn't even touch my file for final review until the week prior to settlement which was August 19th. I couldn't believe they waited until the week before settlement to start verifying and requesting additional documents. At this point my family and I was completely homeless staying from one hotel to another. Due to having to sell my home. It was a nightmare. A few days before settlement I was told that the loan I was originally suppose to receive I couldn't get, and I had to put down an additional $33,000. I asked why did they wait until the week before settlement to start verifying paperwork that was submitted over 2 months ago. I was told that underwriter is very busy and they can't control when underwriting review files. Totally understandable, However maybe Loan officers should be trained to know things to look for that may cause any hiccups if that's the case. You don't have someone sell there house, move their entire family into hotel room for 3 weeks and tell them the week before settlement. When I was originally with Keystone Funding my loan officer verified EVERYTHING that Pike Creek asked for the week before settlement, before they even gave me a pre-approval. Two days before settlement when we had to switch my loan, I was told with my current credit report that was pulled I was approved at putting 20% of the house down. I asked if I can get a lower down payment option and was told yes. However they will have to run the credit again and if something new came up (which it wasn't ) the loan would not be approved. So I said don't worry about it being that I've moved my family 3 different time 3 different hotels and was paying out of pocket. Also it was literally 2 days before settlement. Come find out Pike Creek ran a credit check anyway but never mentioned it to me. I found out the day of settlement. I really feel like I was discriminated against, The day of settlement I was told that when they did the "soft credit pull" something they said they wasn't going to do, $160.00 on my Sam's club charge popped up along with $155 on my capital one card. In order for me to close that day both had to be paid. Now remember this was done maybe 4 hours before settlement. How was that going to be paid and posted the same day... So I explained to my loan officer that Sam's Club had a zero balance an provided him proof of that and Capital one wasn't a problem I could pay it. The fact that they really said $155 had to be paid in order to close on the same day is bazaar. I had to put down a very very large amount on this house on top of $30,000 additional and they turn around to tell me I need to pay a debit of $155.00 the day of settlement. I was so over Pike Creek. So with the additional money I had to put down, I was then told I needed at least an additional $15,000 just sitting in my bank account for reserves... WTH,, I had a few $1,000 sitting but they wanted it to be $15,000....
My god mother gifted me $10,000. to help with closing costs, They asked to verify where the money came from. She provided her bank statement with her account number, name, total amount and recent date of August 2020. Well that wasn't enough for them. They told me she needed to download the mobile app on her phone and screen shot the transaction of the money leaving her account going into mines. The receipt from the teller and her bank statement wasn't enough. CRAZY She was at a funeral back in Philadelphia taking picture of her bank statement. It got so bad the attorney who handle closing had to call the owner of pike creek. I was at settlement for 5 hours. So much more to say about Pike Cre

We sat down for a pre-approval three years ago. After that they stopping answering phone calls and emails. We will never use Pike Creek Mortage again.

I won't go into detail but they failed to lock in our rate when my wife and I thought they had it handled. It's a sales company, nothing more. They will sell you the loan that makes them money. I don't blame them for wanting to make money but the whole "We are here for you and your family" line is BS. Mortgage companies in general are the used car lots of the financial world anyway.

Mike walked us through the arduous process of getting a mortgage for our first house, explaining everything to us in terms we could understand and answering even our smallest, most naive questions. He made a normally difficult and confusing task understandable and even enjoyable, and worked with us to find the best fit for our finances. overall, a great experience in a field that oftentimes is scary and confusing. I'd recommend him to anyone.

My husband and I are picky people who often find that our dealings with others leave us feeling less than impressed. But Pike Creek Mortgage exceeded our expectations and we have ultimately used them for a home purchase, a refinance, and then another home purchase. I am a first time homeowner. I did not know much about the process of buying a home. I was directed by DSHA to go to their website to select a mortgage company. I picked pike creek mortgage. From that day forward my life was hell right up to the day before I went to settlement. Jamie my loan officer wrote the script as we went along. The prices were changing every time I talked to him. It was the day before closing and he had not a clue of what I was to bring to the settlement table. Pike creek charged me large amounts of money. I was definitely ripped off by these people. They sold my mortgage to another company less than a month after I went to settlement . I am getting tax bills in the mail as recent as yesterday 5/2/19 for taxes that was listed in my paperwork at closing and was supposed to have been paid. I reached out to Pike creek (Jamie) who blamed the new mortgage company for not paying the taxes. Not only are they liars they will rip you off. They made my home buying experience a total nightmare. I do not reccomend these people to anyone.

Update 03/01 Manager tonight sent me random email showing a recent survey a customer done. It showed customer name and address. Asked why he sent me this random email and he said because he felt like it. Obviously they do not care about customer privacy.
We were lied to by Jon Fisher. Offered us 4% rate, 0 points 0 fees, 1.125% fee for lock by email and phone for 6 month lock on VA loan. We then asked about 3.875 for 6 months, was told would be $1200 fee plus the 1.125% fee for the 6 months. Both times we were told the 1.125% would be credited towards closing cost. Then when we locked today, was told there is also a $695 origination fee. We talked to sales manager today and found out Jon mixed the 2 different extended lock programs and that the 4% or 3.875% with 1.125% fee would not be credit towards closing cost. This is after he had already locked us at 3.875%. I am glad we had not sent the money for the 1.125% fee.
As you can see from response from the company, they attack people who leave reviews and disclose private information from their credit application. They now have a open case against them with State of FL against their license ( Case #93499 Florida Office of Financial Regulation). Do you really want to do business with this type of company? We only went to them as the company I work for does not do 180 day loans. Found one that charged no upfront fee for 180 day lock and cost less for same rate. Try Vankeef Mortgage if you need an honest company (no I do not work for them, I am not even Licensed in FL).

I reached out to inquire about a mortgage as a first time home buyer. The admin assistant got back to me quickly which was nice. She informed me she would send my info to a loan officer. After about a week I didn't hear anything back so I reached out again. The admin assistant then told me she was forwarding my info to a loan officer, thought she already did that but whatever, stuff happens. I said thanks and awaited a loan officer to reach out. It has now been 3 weeks with no contact. I will now look elsewhere. Such a disappointment too after reading all the great reviews. Oh well I guess.
