Excellent work on a very difficult set of teeth -- very uneven, so tricky to work on. Completely painless and comfortable. Philip and Norah were both very careful to make sure I was in no discomfort. My front teeth look better than new, and should now work as intended!

A Fantastic Implant Experience
My experience in the capable hands of Dr Philip Sommereux was second to none. Never a fan of going to the dentist, I was not happy to learn that I needed an extraction, and then the long process of treatment for an implant. From the very first consultation, Phil was the most considerate, calm and encouraging dentist I have ever experienced; his chair-side manner was really welcoming - in fact I looked forward to each subsequent stage of the treatment, such was the confidence I put in him and his staff. At no time did I have pain...that really surprised me! He explained each part of the procedure as we went along, and having finally reached the last stage of the journey, I am absolutely delighted with the result. Less than 24 hours after the new tooth was put in place....I genuinely cannot tell that it has not always been there....it is a perfect match! Thank you so much.....a brilliant job. Thoroughly recommended

Last week I had my teeth whitened by Mr Sommereux, I chose the chair side option using Phillips Zoom! The whole process took about an hour and a half, they firstly protected my gums using a cheek retractor. They then applied different solutions to my teeth which were then activated using a light. This process was repeated 3 times, I was also given gels to take home which I applied twice daily for four days. I am delighted with the results and would definitely recommend. Friendly and kind staff too!
Initial appointment with Juliet was very thorough. Gave good advice. Teeth looked good afterwards. Certainly recommend this lady.
As usual, friendly, courteous and professional service from Phil and Juliet, leaving me motivated to do better with my flossing rather than feeling 'told off'. I was also very grateful to the person on reception, whose name I do not know. Instead of charging me for forgetting my appointment she helpfully rescheduled it for the same day.

Whilst I don't enjoy being in the dentist's chair, I do have complete trust in Philip & the excellent quality of his work. His hygienist, Juliette is always supportive. Philip is a private dentist and worth every penny. He takes time to reassure me & has the patience of a saint when it comes to calming my nerves. I am always surprised as to how 'pain free & comfortable' I have been through any procedure including a recent wisdom tooth extraction. I thought he was kidding when he announced the tooth was out!

I think I must be one of the most nervous patients ever. I also wish I hadn't have left it so long to find a decent dentist/hygienist. My 1st visit to see Philip was as expected about my dental state but Philip & Julia the hygienist have put me at ease. They talk you through all the work that is being done and have made me lose a lot of my fears about dental visits. Sadly it's not NHS so prices are higher but then with everything in life, you get what you pay for. This is what I would call 1st class service & when you're a nervous patient like I was, this is the service you want to receive. I had 2 hours of root canal surgery. There was no discomfort during the surgery and no soreness or aching after the surgery. This is impressive bearing in mind what needed to be done.

Today was a pleasant experience. As I do not like injections and have a low pain threshold, a lot of care and patience was taken to minimise the pain by using a gel to numb the injection pain. At every point the procedure was explained and checking I was ok. After the filling I was clearly told what I should do while there was numbness. I also appreciated watching a television programme with subtitles, it helped to relax me.
I cannot fault the service provided by Philip and the team, every visit and procedure has been excellent from start to finish with a thoroughly professional and considerate approach and the utmost care and attention to provided. Every effort was made to make me feel comfortable and reassured during my visits and I was kept informed with every aspect of my treatment. I was also provided with comprehensive and kind after care and follow-up. I will absolutely be returning for any further treatment needed and would highly recommend to anyone that would like to visit a pain free dentist they can trust who will provide the best possible treatment in a wholly pleasant environment and surroundings.

I received first class treatment recently from Philip Sommereux & Associates which consisted an initial assessment and three visits to the hygienists. The team were professional, friendly and clearly explained my treatment, informing me of every step prior to carrying them out. I was and felt "looked after". I would highly recommend them.
Can not rate the team here highly enough! They put you at ease and are very thorough. The hygienist is by far the best I have ever been to. Recently had fillings by Philip and he was excellent. Made me feel relaxed and the procedure went quickly and efficiently.
After an examination of my teeth to ascertain if work could be carried following an extraction I was shown the condition of my jaw and the options to fill the gap. I have used this practice for over twenty years and always found the staff to be friendly and helpful. I have never had a problem with the service or treatment I have received. This is still true under the challenge of Covid-19. There is excellent communication prior to your appointment on what is required of you. The thorough system in place to prevent contamination are excellent and well worth the extra time the appointment takes.
I'm sure there are many of us that are very scared of the dentist one of those being me .I get myself all worked up when I have to attend the dentist but my visits with phil are always never as bad as I expect , each time I've been to see phil he has been amazing , very reassuring, kind , gentle and most of all I'm never in pain with any of the work he carries out on me .

I had a bit of a panic when I found out my dentist had moved as I needed emergency appointment for a chipped tooth. I was glad to find out he is now a new owner of the practice, which is not too far away from me. He shows great care and always explains what options I have and why he recommends the treatment he does. I feel my concerns are listened to and the treatment is of high quality. It is like winning a lottery to find a dentist, who really listens. I have a treatment booked and my entire family will be registering with the new practice soon. We cannot recommend the new owner enough - I'd give him six stars if I could!
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The service is the best I have had from any dentist, they explain all of the work before going ahead, answer all questions and are very attentive during the work itself.

As usual as per my many years of check-ups Philip was meticulous with his examination and Juliet was painstaking with her hygienist skills. My visit was only let down by reception who 'palmed me off' with several mini tubes of out of date (09-18) Sensodyne 'sensitive' toothpaste to assist in healing of my sore gums - yes I know they were free!

I went to see Dr Phil recently as I had painful upper wisdom teeth, he took an X-ray and said I didn t have enough room for them so they needed to be taken out. Needless to say on the day of the appointment I was very nervous but Dr Phil and his wonderful team really looked after me - I felt in extremely safe hands! I experienced no pain at all and Katie who was nursing was very attentive and caring. If you need a really great practice I highly recommend Philip Sommereux & Associates!

Philip and his team never fail me, they always engage in chat whilst waiting for appointment and it is genuine as they remember conversations from last visit. This time round I was seeing the hygienist Juliette who tells you as it is no skirting around the issues, always with options on best way forward and always done in a polite and professional manner. From someone who had a long term fear of dentists I actually look forward to going. Hmmm perhaps 'look forward' was a bit ambitious considering no one really enjoys going to a dentist ;-)

I have never liked going to the dentist and have had some bad experiences before. This practice was recommended to me and so I gave it a try.
I found the whole experience very positive. From the people on reception, the dentist and hygienist, the whole operation was both supportive and professional. Philip Sommereux himself was the most thorough dentist I have ever experienced. He discussed everything with me and made me feel like a customer and confident in the treatment we decided upon.
