I took my girls to Petersen Farm today. We had fun! The $5 pass gets you in all of October so personally I didn t mind the price. We got a few mini pumpkins and will definitely come back here again.

This was my families go-to spot for pumpkins and we go many times each year. I feel they have good quality pumpkins and produce and we love the fall festival. However, I went there today and all of a sudden there is a $5 fee per person, which was not the case in previous years. Why pay $25 for a family of 5 just to go in and pay more for pumpkins!!?? Would you pay a grocery store an entrance fee? My kids were so disappointed and I am very upset about this change, but good thing there are many pumpkin patches nearby that dont charge a ridiculous entrance fee.

My boy, Max, loves going to Farm Camp at your farm! I ask every day, "What did you do at Farm Camp?" The answer every time is, "Chores." He is having such a good time, and I am so glad you offer that program.

I am also thankful that you are innovative and making a your farm an essential part of our local community. I drive by everyday and watch everyone working hard to keep it up.

We went here on a class field trip and the farmer was very nice and welcoming. The kids enjoyed themselves, got to pick their own pumpkin, and sample some popcorn. They had a lot of fun on the slides and corn silos and the kids even got to meet the farmers cats. All in all it was a great little farm to visit!

MANAGEMENT PLEASE READ.... Great peaches and loved the farm and everything! But there was a girl that kind of ruined my first time there experience. She was a bigger blonde girl with glasses. I waited to ask her about the monthly subscription since I was very excited about it and saw that she was talking to another Caucasian girl very nice so obviously I didn t think she was going to be so rude to me. But when I asked her about the subscription and how much it cost, she was so rude to me and seemed to annoyed by me. I know I was polite and I know I was nice because even my husband was thrown off. I am Hispanic and really hope this wasn t a racial discrimination towards me. Everyone and everything else was great except this one girl really ruined my experience.
Management: please talk to your employees and train them to give outstanding customer service to EVERYONE no matter the race or gender or anything. I would have rated 5 stars without a doubt if it wasn t for her.

We have found the quality of the produce to be very high. I do recommend going early in the day to ensure they have what you want and to be able to park reasonably close. We are considering the CSA this summer the baskets always look really good.

Great farmers market, always good produce and other local food and such. We always get our pumpkins here as well, they have lots of fun stuff for the kids, including a little petting zoo and corn maze. Plus there are often food trucks.

This pumpkin patch is smaller than others around the valley, but I have to say that it s one of the most photogenic I ve been to. If you want amazing photos, come here. It s like a real-life Pinterest board. Lots of pumpkins to choose from, and a darling farmers market. I have small kids and they loved the activities, especially the slides and the hay ride.

Beautiful store, one of the top sources for locally-raised produce and local grass-fed meat (try their beefalo- a cross between cow and buffalo!). They carry what they have in season plus some farms out of state that have the same high standards.

They also carry natural products like honeys, coconut oil, body products, etc, that don t come cheap but are some of the highest quality I ve seen. Very helpful and knowledgeable employees.

July through September is a great time to come here as the produce is mostly theirs and local at that point. Their Simple Share program is a monthly subscription service where you pick up a basket of produce every week.

They also have pumpkins during the fall and Christmas trees in December. Seasonal activities for kids. Classes and education as well.

My kind of grocery shopping. I will be back!

This is a great farm with tons of fresh produce available. They have a shop filled with locally grown vegetables, meat, and cheese. The staff is incredibly helpful and are always happy to talk with you about the produce. I love my visits here.

Their pickling cucumber are horrible this year. I ordered 5 lb. Picked them up, looked at them in the car, 80% of them had mold on them. Went back in, waited in line for another 15 minutes because they only had one cashier. They exchanged them, checked them at home, this time only 40% had mold on them. If you know your product has gone bad why do you still sell it? I guess it shows your priorities as a family business! This must be why you can pre-order and don't actually get to pick your own from a bin, so they can sell their product that has gone bad.

Every time I come here, I feel like part of their family. This is a family farm who has a general store (and they do farm fresh produce baskets!) where they sell their produce as well as local goodies. For a few years now, I ve gotten a box or two of their peaches to can and they are amazing! This year, we went there specifically to pick out pumpkins for Halloween. Come to find out, they have a whole setup with a food truck, live music, slides for kids, giant pumpkin patch, animals, and the store open late for everyone to enjoy. We spent the evening wandering around and enjoying the pumpkin patch and store, it was just perfect. Even though there were mostly families, I enjoyed it as part of a date without them. We left with two large pumpkins, two small orange pumpkins, and a small white one for all under $10. I think we ll make it a tradition to come back.

I think that it's a great idea, and fun for a one time visit. But the store isn't kept well stocked, and I went in this Friday inquiring about goats and the lady behind the counter (short brown hair, assumed she was management) was very rude. We were hoping to purchase a couple goats, and asked about pricing. She then told me they do sell goats, but not in the way I want them. When I asked what she meant, she said no goat leaves this farm alive. When I asked if I could purchase them for what they would make from meat, she waved her hand in my face rudely and walked away.

1. She was very rude, if that's the face of your business... then good luck.
2. Don't flaunt your goats if you aren't prepared for the questions.

I've purchased most of my produce and meat from this farm, and won't be back.

I would rate much higher, but adding a 5$ per person entry fee on top of the cost of pumpkins is a total ripoff. It's not an amusement park, I don't want to pay 10$ for my wife and I to take a look around.

*update * you know, if the owners had the common sense to listen to a mass of unhappy customers and change something than this mistake on their part would be forgivable; but it seems that all that has changed is we saw a very condescending, arrogant, and defensive attitude emerge from the owners as they explain why we are wrong and ungrateful for being unhappy about their overpriced services. I'm not remotely interested in coming back after seeing their true colors.

We go here every year for pumpkins. They have the best selection of cool pumpkins of different colors and shapes and sizes. Also the little market had great salsas and apple cider. Last but not least my kids love the little animals.

Large variety of gourds to choose from. Prices are not readily posted so you will likely be surprised at the weighing station with your total tab.

There are a handful of kids' activities there, mostly free. I did not see an obvious place to purchase tickets for the activities listed as requiring tickets. That was the main thing I saw needing remedied.

My kids had a fun time picking out pumpkins, wandering through the corn stalk, and looking at the beehive inside the market nonetheless.

We feel so blessed to have this farmer's market only 8 min away. It is all GMO FREE and they try to stay close to nature as possible. The proof is really in the food. Taste it! You won't taste nasty chemicals and the food looks real. Not cookie cutter like a grocery store. So happy they are not mainstream and in for just the money. Health is much more important! The kids love going to see the goats too;)! Love the dirt road, all of it!

Outstanding family farm. We went in because there were a few food trucks, and I must say that it was really nice. We popped into the store and it was absolutely astounding. The products they had available were fresh, and diverse. The store itself was very nice and very clean.

Was my first time purchasing produce at the store, was excited to buy the yellow watermelons my family sampled them at the food truck friday event. The picture i attached was what we got red watermelons with yellow tags on them. We also purchased a large bag of peaches, terrible tasting and very bitter. Very disappointed in my experience with there produce. 2 stars because the girls in the store were very nice and friendly.

We have loved visiting here over the years. Now with the $5 cover charge per person we will be going elsewhere. I generally would purchase your overpriced pumpkins as a way of saying thank you for your work. However, you have priced yourself out of our budget. A $1 or $2 cover charge per person would be acceptable for me, but to shell out $20 plus pumpkin costs is just too much for an hour of our time. I hope you'll listen to your customers and make the right change.

Picked up a Christmas tree from them recently.. they prepare their trees by drilling a hole up through the core so that it sits on a post within the stand. The guy who got ours ready for us drilled the hole so crooked that the tree leans so far over that it s fallen completely over. We spent almost $70 on a 4 tree and a stand. I guess the joke is on us. We should have just gotten one from Home Depot. Called to let them know and only response was sorry. Expected more from a boutique farm with overpriced goods.

I just want to agree with all the others who were so disappointed to show up and find out they were charging to enter a pumpkin patch. I did not pay the entrance. I wasn't going to pay $30 just to walk around and then be expected to pay another $40 bucks for pumpkins. So frustrating. This has been a family favorite for years. Sad to say it, but we will also be finding a new pumpkin patch to continue our family's tradition.
