Great location with parking nearby. The hotel is a bit dated but it was definitely a very nice place a few years ago.. my room had a fireplace and other nice features. So as long as you don't mind feeling like you're in a different decade you get a good deal for the features included.

Brutal. We stayed in what was supposed to be one of their best suites but it is terribly run down and many aspects of the room are clearly never maintained. Both phones didn't work, power went out and no one followed up with my call, fireplace is falling apart, screens in windows are falling off and there are leaves and dirt all over inside, hand prints on walls, and so much more. No parking on site. Can't believe I paid $200 for this! Stay anywhere else. I have pictures if I can get them posted.

Nothing special about this hotel. Horrible place if you're a smoker and don't trust them with your $200 deposit. They took my full $200 deposit because I removed a screen from a window to go outside and have a smoke and then put it back together almost better then what it was before I touched it, with the duct tape on the bottom keeping it together. Didn't expect to even have to pay a $200 deposit On a low budget hotel let alone have them take it From me. Very pathetic, they don't know how much stress they caused me.

The staff at the Peterborough Inn & Suites are very helpful and courteous. The room was clean and well appointed. The beds could have been more comfortable and I would have liked a window that opened but the other +s outweigh the -s. There was free parking nearby and there was a large selection of food at the free continental breakfast. The central location was great, within walking distance of many pubs and restaurants. If you are looking for a hotel in central Peterborough for a reasonable price then I would recommend staying here!

First of all really great location. Room was cute, with tall windows overlooking the street. We stayed in room 101. Only 100 bucks a night! Awesome start to our vacation. Will/would def come back.

Have stayed at this hotel multiple times. Always a great stay. The staff is extremely friendly, the hotel is extremely clean. I always find it so relaxing. I am a stickler for the way the lobby is set. It's gorgeous, and comfortable. Would highly recommend it to friends and family, and business associates. Just a great location and great people.

Location is great. Customer Service is great.

Location is great. Customer Service is great.
It is within walking distance to everything it the heart of Peterborough.
That s about it.
We stayed in one of their signature suits.
Bed = Terrible
The mattress was one of the worst I have ever slept on.
You can feel every spring push into your body. We were very sore throughout the night and during the day. The sheets and pillows smelt strongly of soap or detergent.
View = Terrible
We were overlooking another building that was about 8 feet away.
The room was extremely hot. Turning off the heat did very little. We had no air circulation what so ever, even when the windows were open. We could only open one window anyway as the screens on the other window were broken.
To be fair we had an AC unit, a portable one in the room, but who wants to turn on a noisy AC unit inside the room in the middle of the winter?
Fire Place = Terrible
It had one setting, On or Off. No gradual increases in ambiance or fire intensity, no matter what we did with the thermostat.
Since the room was already too warm, we did not use the fireplace at all.
Jacuzzi = barely acceptable
It is advertised as a two person Jacuzzi but it was more like a bathtub which is a bit wider and deeper than your average tub. It was not comfortable for us to sit across or beside each other and stretch our legs or arms.
Noise levels = High
The walls are paper thin. We could hear every person in the rooms around us and the noise they made walking in their rooms or opening and closing the doors.
Included breakfast = Terrible
They have three tables in the breakfast area. Good luck trying to find a space to sit.
If all you are after is a free meal, then I guess it s meh at best.
They offered the usual toast, bagels, some butter and cheese. They had some coffee and cream and a few apples and some muffins. The juice was orange juice from a concentrate can. You don t have to make fresh orange juice but come on are you telling me they couldn t use minute maid or Tropicana or something of the sort?
Wifi = Useless
Our phones and tablets could not maintain a connection for more than a few minutes. However, our laptop managed to get a connection and hold it but the connections was really slow.. I am guessing the antennas in our phones and tablets could not grab a connection from their poor signal while the laptop antenna was larger and managed to stay connected.
For the cool price of 184.99 plus tax I expected better than that.
A couple of months earlier we stayed in the Quality Inn a few minutes further up; just on the edge of down town Peterborough and it was great.
The suit cost was 134.99 plus tax.
The room was twice as large. The Jacuzzi was twice as large. The Fire place actually had different settings that worked. The thermostat for the central heating and cooling actually worked as well and we could always adjust it to our comfort. The windows were large and air circulation was great. Parking was also right outside the room.
There was no view from the windows there either, but that was not a huge deal for us. We spend most of our day outside around and about.
Breakfast was not the best, but was better by a long shot than Peterborough Inn. You could make fresh Waffles for example and they had eggs, ham, yogurt and various other options for food. The breakfast area was also much larger and more comfortable.
The mattress was very comfortable and we slept very well. Noise levels were minimal. We hardly heard anything from outside our room. The Wifi covered the entire premises and we had no issues connecting to it with any of our devices.
The room we wanted was already booked, and we wanted to try to be in the heart of downtown this time around so we opted to stay at Peterborough Inn this time around.
We would never stay there again.

Last time I stayed I was about to go to bed ,pulled back the blankets and bed bugs everywhere!! Nasty. The staff were fully aware that all the rooms had them. I Left Right away... At least they refunded me my money.

Noise.

Stayed here for a work/training seminar and I found the rooms to be clean. - but the beds are terribly uncomfortable. I'm dreading the next 2 and a half weeks. If you have a bad back? I would look elsewhere

My husband and I stayed at the Inn on our way to Algonquin Park to view the autumn colours. The front desk person was extremely nice and gave us a room at the front of the building. He also gave us a free parking pass for around the corner and a 15% off coupon for numerous restaurants - we went to Hot Belly Momma's - supposedly Cajun fare - don't go as it is not very good.
Although a little dated, the room was sparkling clean and featured a in room fireplace and a jacuzzi in the bathroom (that's the dated part!). The room was well appointed and comfortable although the bed could have been updated as well (new mattress - the mattress was comfortable but you could tell it was older).
The morning breakfast was adequate and the gentleman tending to it kept it clean and tidy. Very friendly place that I would go to again.

This grand old hotel is right in the heart of downtown Peterborough with shops and food all around. It is easy to find and the parking garage they use is nearby. The staff are easy to talk with, down to earth, and are very accommodating. Their breakfast is simple, but very filling. The first room we were assigned smelt as though someone just smoked a cigarette in it. When we went to the receptionist and stated the issue he immediately transferred us to a new room. Our room had one room full of windows overlooking main street, but the curtains kept the sun out in the morning. The fireplace was warming, and the hot water to reach temperatures like lava (it was fantastic)!

Executive Suite? Lol, the website sure got me there. Nothing about my room could be considered executive. It was a decent sized room, and was booked entorely for the King size bed and jacuzzi tub. Upon arrival nothing impressed me. The oversized bathroom had everything crammed together, the toilet was stuffed between the tub and the counter despite there being a plethora of room beside the shower, which was installed by a drunk probably, the shower head was nowhere near center of the stall and despite being roomy enough for me (a large man) I had to hug the door side to stay in the spray. The bathroom was not properly cleaned or maintenanced, there was urine on the rim of the toilet and the accesd panel for the tub was left unhinged. The King bed had a great size but was clearly far beyond its expiry, the right side was sloped tremendously and the pillows suck, an awkward size where 1 is not enough and 2 is too much. The fireplace was nice, always pleasant to watch a hot flame on a cold night, especially because the tiny 24" tv was a huge disappointment. This is NOT a $170/night hotel, yet that's the price they charge. Stay down the road at the Holiday Inn, they have beds and tv's to compliment.

Nice location in the heart of downtown surrounded by eats shops and pubs, rooms are quiet.i liked the modern bathroom which had yes 2 heating lamps the beds are comfortable.there are 3 noticables to mention the towels are small and ruff.the room lighting dark to poor. example a reading table/desk that does not have a table lamp nor a light close by... and the breakfast is just cereal and muffins a few fruits morning drinks that it. Parking is free but it's a block walk around the corner I was thrilled that one of the staff offered to park my car for me I liked that. overall will definitely stay a again we felt very safe and secure.

The hotel was overpriced for what you get. We were expecting luxury and got budget hotel amenities. The pillows and mattress were lumpy. The bath and shower was dirty. The blankets had holes in them.

The place is conveniently located. Rooms are ok depending on the price you pay. Tip: buy via an online service as you'll get a better rate for your room. Host made me think I was getting a deal when I checked in. Breakfast is ok. Super8 hotels have better breakfasts. The place was likely very nice 15 or 20 years ago. My room....other than the hair in the shower and bed, the stained walls, and the stained hand towel was nice. Room features such as the fireplace is really nice but really only worked if you wanted it to be a sauna in your room. The desk I was working from was wobbly but adequate. Tv worked well, handy bring able to swing it to the couch or viewable from bed. Pay the $100 price online and it's an OK deal. Pay more...maybe not that great compared to other hotels. Highlights...great location near good cafes and restaurants.

This is our second year at this hotel while attending Reframe film festival. It s been great. While it s an older hotel the rooms are clean and spacious. The service is excellent. A special shout out to Adam for his patience, good humour and for going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed!

Very nice hotel. Very clean. The only problem i had was that the beds were uncomfortable and my head actually hurts from the hard pillows. Excellent staff...breakfast was lacking. If your looking for a nutritious breakfast go elsewhere.

There are a lot of hotels in Peterborough. However, I found this one to be the friendliest with some history to it. Room was clean with a high ceiling and the location was excellent. Parking was included as well.

Very enjoyable.
We stayed again the following week and the service was awesome again. The staff go out of their way to make you comfortable.

Located right in the heart of downtown Peterborough, easy walking distance to just about everything you would want to do or eat. Includes parking at the public parking a short (less than 2min) walk from the hotel. The room was clean and nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The price was very reasonable. I would stay again.

Not up to date with letting customers know about hours of operation. Ordered a night online was charged to my credit card but when arriving nobody was there, the doors were locked due to covid 19 but signs on windows and doors indicated they were open, tried contacting staff a million times with no contact in return. Finally got contacted, told her or situation and she was totally un minded that we were stranded in the cold but yet used or last money to book with them. Didn't like anything about the service

I stayed on the night of April 27th. Staff were very friendly. Room was perfect for my needs. Good breakfast in the morning, I had toast, two different kinds of pastries, coffee and orange juice. Lots of selection. Free parking. Would return.

I just want to say that the staff is wonderful. Booked a room yesterday and a very unfortunate happening took place and I had to cancel. They were very accommodating. Few and far between in this day and age. Thank you Dynasty Suites

Had this location booked several months in advanced for a wedding only to find out they had double booked the rooms and we will have nothing. Really disappointed about this as there is a conference in town the very same week and every other More

I booked my stay through Booking.com (I would also suggest not booking via this site). Unfortunately, I made the booking for the wrong date so I attempted to cancel a month in advance (upon realizing my error). The Inn & Suites advised me to cancel via Booking.com, which I did through their online service. Booking.com then suggested (through an automated email) I follow up with the Inn & Suites to ensure the cancellation, but the Inn & Suites advised they have no bearing on such an outcome. My credit card ended up being charged for the stay. At Booking.com, it is seemingly impossible to reach a real human, and the Inn & Suites will not refund my money, although they profited directly from the arrangement with Booking.com. Generally speaking, I recognize I did not actually stay here; but this system seems awful and I received no empathy from the staff at the Inn & Suites.

The hotel is quite outdated with decor and portable A/C units in the windows however the bed was comfy and the location was great! Reasonable room rates and the front desk staff was friendly and professional. Would stay here again because of the great location right downtown.

Hotel was not up to our standards, should have known by the reviews. Over priced and to top it off we were overcharged. They did refund quickly when asked. The parking is a block away and you legally can't park in front to unload your baggage which adds to the inconvenience. The room was not clean and several things were wrong with it. Please don't respond saying we should have called down to tell you of the problems, I have not got the time nor the inclination to deal with problems nor do I expect to have to when paying $220.
