Dallas Sheriff Department Review

I did a ride a long with the Dallas Sheriff Department and I appreciate all the hard work I witnessed them do.

Stayed the night here last night. Sandwiches had nats and everything was unsanitary. Do not recommend. Stay out of trouble and don t go to jail.

The Dallas County Sheriff Traffic team was a blessing! I had a flat tire on the freeway near the SMU campus and these guys were life savers. It was just before rush hour and cars were zooming by. Hal and Norton pulled up behind me, changed my flat tire in no time and filled my spare tire with air. Thank you for all you do!

They Were Very Gentle When They Handcuffed Me , & The Cars Are Very Roomie The Ride To Lewsterret Was Nice & Calm, Will Defenantly Get Arrested By Them Again Soon

Phone rang 22 times and no one picked up the phone, nor voice mail.

Stay out of trouble, this certainly is not a 5 star hotel. Worst place on earth

I randomly called for questions regarding my scofflaw block on my vehicle. After speaking with Liz, she was very helpful and polite through your our conversation. She went out of her job roll and returned my call today and provided more helpful information. Thank you.

Wont answer phone the whole day today!! And the two officer people in middle of room dont direct you the right way. They just say oh over there door to your left and there is three doors ligned up side by side!

No one answers the phone in the main office. Been calling for 3 days now.

I have been trying to reach the sheriffs department for a few days now and they seem to be very busy..... no answer it s a waste of time

Experienced being falsely told on by a kid like act, from an adult and was jailed. They wanted me to mop after not feeding me either, then I began to think I need energy to live, there starving me to death. So the sheriff choked me with his hand and almost killed me, pushing his thumb On my Adam s apple and he pushed it all the way back. Then as I couldn t breath for a long time, I began to wonder if I would live. Then my head was bashed into the concrete, half my face was black for a month, as I was continued to be starved of food and water, inmates were keeping me alive. Why would you run a holocaust in America when my grandfather fought to stop it, and I m sure your family did as well.

Definitely didn't want to give this 1 star, because this Sheriff's Dept. is by far the example of why the City of Dallas has a Horrid Reputation of "You Are What You Hire." I was involved in a collision and with out going into too many details, it involved my vehicle to be pretty destroyed. I had been unable to find my police report for over a month and this is why. The Deputy who came out to the scene #1169 had the date incorrect, which he had my crash as 4 days prior to the incident. Not only that, our names were incorrect on the report and also the diagram didn't exhibit anything like the location we were at. I reached out to everyone like I was told and none of the mistakes were fixed; however, it was turned on me and I was humiliated. His supervising Lieutenants were extremely obscene, being Barker and Sherman when I spoke with them. Also, nothing has been corrected thus far other than the date, which I was told and stated by Lieutenant Barker and"Nothing Else Will Be Corrected". I have a video immediately after being hit and pics, which doesn't compare to the evidence that the Deputy has put forth. All because it will make the Deputy look as though he didn't follow protocol, which he did not. So forget Protect and Serve this shows going to work just to get a Check!!!

Could not get ahold of anyone the system is terrible. Every time you call it hangs up on you.

Dallas police are pretty supportive, they know what they are doing, they don't just pull you for any reason unlike other counties.

I had one of your officers run me off the road .. he looked me dead in the eye. Didn't even stop to check on me . You wonder why you have issues with the public. With officers like that your relationship with the public is not going to grow.. they need to be concerned about the bikes around them... Don't just count on your mirror... I have a family I wanted to go home to . Watch out for us bikes

All the reviews on here saying they don t answer the phone take with a grain of salt. That was not my experience at all. They answered quickly and resolved my issue in less than 5 minutes.

Horrible experience i guess its becoming apart of the norm it's not about the people anymore it's the paychecks now a days. Even the switchboard operators ain't worth 2cents and very rude How you answer a business phone with an attitude If you hate your job that bad QUIT

I was in an accident, called for information the next morning but seams like no one works there or does not know how to answer a phone.

Officer Crump worked the accident I was involved in on 80 in Sunnyvale. Officer Crump was helpful kind and efficient on a cold rainy day with three other accidents taking place while they were loading my vehicle on the wrecker. Thanks

Apparently lazy. Been call since 9:30am its now 4:52pm. Not one answered call.
