Food is delicious but prepare for the long lineups!

Only reason I always go when there is the milkshakes. Groovy

I don't understand the cult following to the burgers. Is it the nostalgic memories people have from the 60'S? burgers are bland with little flavor and the buns are always soggy. They changed the fries to showstring style for some reason. Not the Peters for 30-40 years ago.

I have not been here in over 25 years and the experience was exactly the same as the last time I came. The food is amazing and definitely worth the wait. Its good to see a restaurant so iconic still keeping traditions the same

Always a great milkshake, so many flavors that you can combine in any way. It's a neat little place to enjoy your shake in a green space! I recommend this to anyone loving milkshakes.

I have eaten here twice, the first time was so bad that I could physically squeeze grease from the saturated onion rings. The burger was nothing but a puck of flavored rubbery filler and I had to stop after 3 bites to avoid throwing up. I dumped this into the garbage and chalked it up to a "one off" bad experience.

A few months later I decided to give Peter's another try. This time I took my adult son along and both of us had to dispose of the garbage they tried to feed us.

It totally blows my mind how anyone can call this substandard stuff "food". It's glaringly obvious that the lineups are merely derived out of convenience of location being situated on 16 Avenue. These are mostly impulse decisions by unsuspecting drive-by travelers who are seeking a quick hunger fix. All of the good burger places worth visiting are not located on the trans Canada and therefore out of reach for folks passing through the city.

There are several top notch burger places very close to this place which would serve you far better. You can search google for them and I would highly suggest it.

Not recommended!

Shake was good the burger toppings were limp and pastey, like the tomato and lettuce. The fountain pop was flat and watered down. The fries were soggy and greasy. The gravy was watered down and tasteless.

I have no clue what you all consider great food to be but this was not at all a good experience and the food was just horrid.

Everything was plentiful and so delicious. Very popular restaurant but service very fast.

Things have changed over the years, but still not bad. Good burgers and shakes on a summer day. The fries are still super big (good thing)

Food sucks and it's not even worth the drive to get a milk shake when there are other places to get a milk shake that are just as good or better. When I say the food sucks, I really mean it. Unless you like soggy burgers you're better off going to Coco, Bubblemania or even Cafe 16 which are all close by. Peter's Drive-In just hasn't changed with the times and it really is too bad.

Cool local vibe, Peter's sauce is unique. Burgers are good, but not special. Shakes are great with lots of options. I got blueberry peach

Although the drive thru was packed...only 10mins with food in hand...it was amazingly fast service!!!

Original and cool set up. Drive in is long but the staff is very efficient and they get you through the line quickly. Tons of milkshakes to choose from and awesome onion rings

They have amazing milkshakes, well there they were all very friendly, aswell as they had the thickest milkshakes around! Over all a great experience

Fresh food, great milk shakes and wonderful staff! It s always busy (good sign) and customers seem happy. Love that they have picnic tables and a large parking area.

Anyone you ask will say its amazing. However, burgers and fries are very basic nothing special to them at all. I'd rather go to McDonald's.

I quite enjoy the delicious double cheeseburger. Just thinking about it now as I am typing this... I am drooling... We love the outdoor eating area. Nice and spacious. Plenty of parking.

A Calgary staple. Something everybody should experience when you visit the city. Food is classic drive-up style fast food. Love the various flavour combinations for the shakes, and the family sized fries that could feed and army.

Line up is crazy long . Burger was pricey, and wasn't great. That said the milkshakes were dynamo.

Very popular spot but well worth the wait. The milkshake mixed flavored option was amazing, the burger was delicious with Peter's sauce. Excellent customer service and very clean place.

I think I heard it talked up too much. It wasn t as good as I expected and the milkshake was not so appetizing.

Great food, best shakes in town, great portions and affordable. Peters is an institution in Calgary and a great place to visit or grab a late night meal.

I know that I'm in the minority. Peters is a Calgary icon. I personally feel the quality and ingredients dropped below my expectations since it was sold to new owners.

Burgers taste like something regurgitated and soaked in vomit. But milkshakes are good.
