I love their milkshakes. Their burgers are sorta like sloppy joes, and their fries are somewhat mushy. Onion rings are pretty good, but I don't really eat them in general. They have free parking, and tables you can sit at. You can either go to the window or though the drive-thru

Waiting can be improved but that's because they're trying to get everyone's order. Also, they need to fix their speakers; I had to get out of my car in order for the lady to hear my order.

Other than that, the staff's very friendly and it's a good place to drop by either in the morning or evening.

A Calgary classic. Burgers are fantastic with their Peter's sauce. Fries come in generous portions (think a small for 2 people, large for a family). Tons of flavours of milkshakes to choose from (mix your own combination). Service is always fast. Lines can get big in the summer but is always worth the wait

I thought the food was gross and overpriced for what you get
I won t be back
The drive in backed up onto 16 Ave and ignorant customers would not let anyone in the line coming the other way
Whole experience was just bad

Well, I NEVER thought It would happen, but we got ripped off at Peter's yesterday.
We ordered double cheese burgers with cheese, but got a single and a quarter on both
burgers at best!!! No more Peter's for myself and my family. The new owner(s) have ruined a good thing!

Being someone not born and raised in calgary, I'm going to say something very controversial... Peter's is very average. Before you egg my house and throw French fries at me, I will say that their milkshakes are very good. It's the food that is just very average and better can be found elsewhere in the city. From what I understand Peter's is a piece of Calgary history and plays to nostalgia quite a bit. Go for that reason, not the food.

Great place to go for a burger, fries and a shake. Delicious food and prices are pretty reasonable for the portion size and quality you recieve. Gets very busy but the staff do an excellent job of keeping things moving. Always stop here for lunch when we are in Calgary.

We stopped here for a quick lunch and the burgers were great! The family size fries is really huge..enough for four people (even though it's almost the same price as two regular orders). There are picnic tables everywhere so lots if seating and a drive thru too. don't let the lines fool you...they move really quickly!

I was very disappointed going to Peters Drive in tonight. I have two gift certificates for milkshakes, and the ladies that were working there just yelled to one another that they never seen the certificates before. Then they got a manager to look at it and she just said it was old then walked away. They just said they couldn t accept it. When there was no expiry dates issues on them.. poor customer service. Very poor. Won t be going back.

We tried the poutine fries, a chocolate banana milkshake, and 2 double cheeseburgers with Peter's sauce. The double cheeseburgers tasted kind of rubbery, but it could have just been because they were very lean. They also didn't have a lot of flavor, so I got some ketchup on the side and dipped my cheeseburger into it. This place is kind of cool looking from the outside, and has that old school diner drive-in look to it, so that is kind of fun, and I understand it's been around for a long time, but it wasn't my favorite place. The poutine fries were pretty good, but it was mainly just gravy and soggy at the bottom, but the top part was good with the cheese. The milkshake was probably the best thing we had. We are glad we went, but we probably would not go again, and that's pretty rare for us, because we love a good burger joint.

Google is asking me to tell you why I loved Peter's Drive-In. Look, if you don't know, just go to Peter's to find out! This place is always busy, and almost always fast. The servings are really big and the shakes are awesome. If you're craving some classic drive-in fare, there's nowhere else I recommend.

Shakes! Shakes! Shakes! The milkshakes here (so many flavours--each one amazing) are delicious and thick like iced cream. The family size bag of fries will feed 6 people happily. The burgers are all stars.

I have been going to this place since I was a little girl, I absolutely love the milkshakes, the onion rings and the burgers are very good as well. I love going in and seeing how busy this place is and that it never stops growing. Absolutely never disappointing!

The milkshakes were delicious. The reason I am giving it 2 star is that their burgers are disgusting. I ordered 3 cheeseburgers and too were slopped together and overloaded with so much ketchup the buns were soggy. I would never eat there again. Huge turn off. FYI this was on Tuesday, November 3 in the evening.

Patty and a half burgers!

Tall thick milk shakes - delightful flavors.
Onion rings ... Oh oh I love onions.
