A Calgary classic.
Great milkshakes and the servings of fries are massive!
A great experience makes it worth the visit, but if we're honest you aren't coming here for quality or good prices.

Absolutely one of the best places in town! Milkshakes are fantastic and the lemonade is second to none. The food is not the best ever but it doesnt disappoint. Its always insanely busy so if you get into the drive thru and arent waiting around the corner onto 16th consider yourself lucky!

I dont get why this place has a review greater then 4 honestly. I guess if you like your burgers/freis greasy and cheap...but then theres McDonald's and you can actually get fresh fries. The shakes are far too sweet and the consistency of soft serve which makes sense.

My boyfriend and I went here after not being to peters in years. For $35 we received 2 disgusting, sloppy, flavorless burgers, mediocre fries and milkshakes. I wouldn't waste your time or money going here, new ownership and rhe place has done nothing but go downhill.

I ve read great things about this gem and they re all true! Service is friendly even when the lines are off the road. The lines could have a bit more management though as people tend to crowd around the order windows after they ve placed an order; this makes others waiting to place an order wait behind people who have already taken theirs.

Super busy spot, but this doesn t mean you ll be waiting a long time for your food. Take-out is supposed to be fast and Peters Drive-In lives up to it.

Lots of tables to sit at that are not under the roof.
Luckily I was able to grab some food while the weather wasn t as cold as it is now. Will definitely be coming back for the winter months in a car so I can have that drive-in experience.
The milkshakes are amazing, and the sundaes are to die for. PS I saw a lady walking away with a small ice cream cone it was massive. This place goes above and beyond for the servings of food they give out.
Definitely a spot you need to eat at when you re in Calgary.

Had a hamburger and rings in Calgary. The burger was the worst I have ever gotten at a restaurant. Wasn't warm enough to melt the slice of plastic cheez that was on top of the patty. Covered in a nondescript red sauce lacking any flavor. The only reason it gets one star is the portion was big (the rings were served in a bucket)

Famous for hamburgers and milkshakes.

Famous for hamburgers and milkshakes.
Of course, we recommend hamburgers, milkshakes, and french fries.
The amount is large and the taste is good. Friendly and professional place.

Best Milkshakes in town with up to three flavours to combine, so hundreds of combinations. Always an adventure to discover new flavours to make a unique experience everytime. Other menu items are top notch taste also.

Whenever I am in Calgary I always stop off a Peter's Drive-In for a Double CheeseBurger and a Banana Milkshake. I have been going there since I lived in Calgary after highschool and it was a small building across the street.

Delicious burgers and onion rings. The poutine was just alright (a little soggy). My milkshake was just okay but that was probably the flavour I chose - my bf was very happy with his choice. Quick service!

Good selection of gluten free food (fries, poutine and most milkshakes, plus burgers could be lettuce wrapped). The classic drive in joint is home to great fries and even better milk shakes! My only wish from this place would be to serve gluten free burger buns (like smashburger).

Peters' drive thru has been open in Calgary for more than 50 years and as a walk up or drive thru its won the hearts of many. Red Deer's is gaining popularity like it. Burgers and fries are very average here and I often eat such food elsewhere. However ice cream dishes and milkshakes (up to 2500 combinations of flavours) have kept me returning since 2003.

We waited in line with no path to escape for 29 minutes. My cheese on my hot dog was not even melted. The onion rings were not even really hot. My husband enjoyed his burger. Something has to quicken the service , whom ever is cooking should make sure the meat is hot enough to melt the cheese, if you are putting cheese on after and not during.
The pina colada milk shake was tasty that my husband had. That would get 5 stars.

This place is my jam. I love the milkshakes, I like the burgers and I adore their onion rings. The staff is super awesome and they are extremely efficient for the amount of people that go through. Their burgers and fries aren't as good as their onions rings and milkshakes however. At least the portion sizes are ridiculous haha. Still better than most fast food places!

The Shakes are good, the food is average. Peter's Drive in has always had a craze about it in the city, always seems to have a lineup. Do not order of bag of fries unless you are sharing them, its huge.
