Omg! Straight out of the 50 s, it s like travelling back in time! (Before hormone meat & gmos). Best shakes and onion rings ever.. ridiculously delicious burgers. Rapid service despite huge line up. Worth it! I see why this place is so popular. A classic well done.

It had been years since I was last at Peter's, stopped there a couple weeks ago. It's as good as I remember, the burgers are big, the onion rings are large portion, needs to be shared and the milkshakes are thick! Only suggestion would be to offer a smaller size milkshake, as well as fries and onion rings, it's just too much for one person and I am sure there is alot that does not be consumed.

I ordered the chocolate Sunday which comes with whip cream by default. Ask for a lid if driving in a car. It was pretty busy through the drive-through and the wait time was a bit long. Expected

Always a favourite place to stop by during these hot summer days and enjoy a shake with burger and fries. Highly recommended the Peter's sauce, it's delicious! Hadn't been in some time and it's great to have them finally accepting debit and credit now as well as having new iPads to take orders for better accuracy. Easy to see why this place has been so famous for so long!

Coming in, I realized this place had a puny parking lot full of arrogant, dumb drivers and it's a wonder I didn't crash. I also had the feeling that since this was in the inner city, there would be arrogant smokers and the surroundings would be crack houses with unmaintained lawns. I was right! The picnic areas are surrounded by all this as well as the drive-through, which is discomforting.

I didn't stay long, because I noticed the place was either understaffed or overwhelmed by the long lines and I just gave up and looked elsewhere. I looked at some of the food, it's your typical artery-clogging greasy stuff, and I recognized the shakes from when i went to the Highland Games out in Springbank (The cups are the same).

If you have to come here for whatever reason, use the drive-through, though it's only marginally quicker and the line stretches back onto 16th Ave. (which is dangerous and frustrating for other motorists to those who are familiar in the area). They only accept cash to speed service so that is an inconvenience to card users, but the service is horrendous enough.

Peter's will always hold a special place in my heart, good burgers, fast delivery and just an all around cool place. Highly recommend Peter's in the summer late at night, there's nothing like it in the world!

Who doesn't love Peters? Growing up in Calgary it was a staple and I'm glad it's still around. There's usually a pretty long wait, but once you've had their food and milkshakes it's obvious why. Tons of variety for both food and shakes, and you definitely won't find a thicker milkshake anywhere in the city.

great

Love it

Milkshakes and burgers that are out of this world. Line up is also out of this world (But it's totally worth it). If you have never tried it, you are missing out big time. Just pick a time that's not popular so you don't have to wait as long. The cost is cheap and portion size is good. There are lots of milkeshake flavours that you can choose.

Have been going here since I was a kid, has become progressively worse. Stopped in for some food this week and think it will be the last time. Not once but twice I bit down on a large bone chip in my hamburger, clearly are using the very very cheapest beef they can get their hands on. Fries were stale. Only reason I gave 2 stars is because their milkshakes are "okay", although they have always been way too bloody thick.

Place is awesome. Loved their milkshakes and burgers. Heard their fries weren't up to PAR.

Got an orange vanilla shake with a normal cheese burger which contains a patty and a half and some onion rings.

The worst part about the trip was the line getting to order.

It was my first time coming to peters drive in and I didnt know what to order. The cashier was rude and impatient because she couldnt understand what we were saying. I understand things may get busy, especially during covid, but placing stress on customers do not help. Burger was alright. Fries were a bit unseasoned. Im surprised people are raving about the milkshake. It just tasted okay, nothing special about it. The milkshake tastes like Dairy Queen blizzards, in my opinion. However, the prices are quite reasonable. Based on my experience, Im not planning on coming back. There are better restaurants in the city.

Peter's Drive-In milkshakes are the best in the city, sorry Boogie's Burgers. Probably not a great idea to get the family size fries unless you're 4 or more people, it's absolutely huge, though you'll probably eat more than you think- they're great.
