Peters is the all time best burger joint in Calgary , I just love the atmosphere here and the large quality of food you get for a decent price. Not only that but have you ever seen a place with more options for milkshakes so yummy. I have been coming here since i was little and always loved sitting in the car with my parents eating our burgers or even on the picnic benches. Staff are friendly and work very fast and hard. My favorite thing to get from here is the cheeseburger with small fries and a mint milkshake , and people may argue that the milkshake is to thick but that's the best part cause it will last forever.

Always yummy. Although today the guy seemed annoyed that we wanted to add toppings on our burgers even though the option is on the menu.
Also there should be more vegetarian options ie: veg based poutine gravy.

What's not to love?! My granddaughter and I love the milkshakes, burgers and fries.
The service at the drive through is always friendly and fast.
Peter's Drive-In is part of my family history and hopefully will be for generations to come!

Went to peters yesterday and ordered a cheese burger, onion rings, and a shake. The shake was great as normal, but the food wasn t. It seems the quality of food as really gone downhill. I used to eat at peters all the time, but I haven t in a couple years. The burger was just....ok and the onion rings were burnt. The customer service was so so. Not the friendly amazing food it used to be, which I m so disappointed for. I guess when you start opening multiple stores, the quality truly suffers. Will I go back? For a shake maybe, but that s about it.

I first visited Peters' back in 1978 when I lived in Raymond and our football team came up here for a Stampeders game.

Horrible fries and So-so burger( nothing special about it) but they do have Amazing onion rings and amazing milkshakes. If you come here just buy the milkshake nothing that special about the food

Yum.

Love Peter's, especially the shakes. So many combinations!!!! Nice park area to sit in. Staff often seem grumpy (not rude, just abrupt), but I guess it's because they're always so busy. Main reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is the lack of chicken nugget/strip option. We can't often unless we plan on stopping at another place for chicken.

Walked to Peters' from East village and the uphill climb nearly killed me. The place was busy and it took around 10 mins to order and receive my food. Overall, the food was delicious but I wouldn't say it was special. Definitely hits the spot if you need a decent burger.

The milkshakes are pretty great, they have a wide variety of flavors but they are pretty thick. The hamburgers are also pretty good. NEVER GET THE FRIES. I guarantee you will regret buying the fries.

It's been a awhile since I've been to Peter's and it was very underwhelming in the past. This time it wasn't as bad, it was actually OK, better than I remember. The fries were decent, still got a tomato even though I asked for none and was told they don't add it unless requested (Well, I requested not to, but oh well). The toppings were OK, not bad, not great either. I still won't line up there like some people do when I drive by, but still, it will do in a pinch.

The food is really good and worth the wait. The sizing of the fries is very large so a regular size is good for around 5 people to share. The milkshakes are one of the best things about this place. The only negative is the wait in line but it's worth it.

Peter's used to be a great place with awesome burgers, fries, and shakes. Now the food seems to of much lessor quality and the shakes taste like they come form a box formula, and very pricey. It's now an expensive novelty more than the great drive through of old.

Yummy and economical and fast cause of fwp include like too much poutine to eat it all , milkshakes too thick, too much cheese left in poutine and family size fries could be used to build a log cabin. Only able to rate at five stars

I do not think Peter's Drive-in is at all worth the hype. It is very disappointing because I used to love coming to Peter's as a kid but I find in the last few years the quality of the food has gone way down hill. Even if the lines were not ridiculously long all the time the food would not even be worth it. Many people say they only like the milkshakes but I find that even those have been flavourless the last few times I have tried them. There are so many other great drive-ins in Calgary. If you can make it to Angels Drive-in in Bowness I would recommend that over Peter's.

Great service! I watched as a young boy dropped his milkshake and they called him back from the parking lot and gave him a new one. Good old fashioned customer service at its finest!

Food here is quite mediocre in quality, with really nothing special about it. Avoid getting that unless you like disappointment and heartburn from such a famous place in Calgary. Shakes are what you should come for, which are reasonably priced and super thick. Huge variety of flavors to choose from and you get to mix and match up to 3. Some flavors tend to taste very artificial and overly sweet though, coconut being one. Worth it for the experience but even though I live here I don't plan to be a regular.
