The burgers are decent but the shakes are great. The lines are always ridiculously long even in the middle of the winter. The shakes are pretty thick and the straws provided are pathetic for the substance provided in particular during the winter when shakes don't really melt.

Peter's is awesome. It's the most popular non-chain restaurant that I'm aware of in Calgary. They have great food, great shakes, great service, and their fry and onion ring servings are massive. They are a bit on the pricey side, but it's worth it.

Moved to the states 10 yeears ago but always bragged about peters drive in back home.so when work brought me back to calgary my first thought was peters here i come.biggest mistake i made only eat here if you want to throw up for the next 8 to ten hours.the burger looked like some body.just threw all the ingredients in a pile and wraped and served it.the fries were ice cold and hard as rock.i will not be back .but at least i have the memories.

The shakes are still fantastic, but the burgers and hot dogs were lousy. The burger was really dry and chewy, a shame because they're a good size. The hot dogs we got were straight up trash. Cut down the middle and heavily overcooked. It was like ketchup flavored jerky. The fries and shakes are the only things worth while to me. Skip the rest.

Was it ever better than this? What's the appeal? Why is this place in business? Could these burgers be any soggy? This is what I ask myself everytime I come here. The burgers are horrible. They are soggy and sit under a heat lamp and have no taste. The photo I attached is of a $5.60 (2018)double burger no cheese. It was a mess. The only thing maybe worth getting here is a milkshake. Otherwise go to Burger King or McDonald's for yucky burgers.

The burgers really aren't anything to screw in boat.the two things that are great are the serving sizes for fries & onion rings and the milkshakes are to die for.

You get a Patty and a half with each Burger but the patties don't have much flavour and they are quite thin.

I would drive to other places across the city before I would drive across the city for this one.

Pro tip: Bring your own bubble tea straw. So much easier to drink the thick milkshake! Always great shakes, pretty good burgers. A good quick stop (faster if you park instead of driving through).

Welcome to the ancient business model of slinging burgers. This place used to be a great bang for the buck and your order is always correct. This recession has hit hard and soaring supply costs have brought Peter's to lower their standards. They do not cook their meat as long. Portions are down .
