a city landmark, obviously. fantastic in the summer, loads of fun milkshake combos to create and try, their burgers are simple yet satisfying. The nostalgia is strong here. A classic for sure!

Great burger joint. Have loved everything there for years. Tons of great milkshake flavors and their burgers are delicious. Fries aren't that crispy but still good. Staff is very friendly as well.

A true classic. If you want to experience a old style burger joint this is a must. The milkshakes are the highlight with thousands of combinations. The burgers are okay but are not as good as some you can find.

Favorite Calgarian spot, a must go for immigrants if they want to truly understand the local culture me how making a long line during all seasons is worth it for a double cheese with onion rings and milkshake !

This place is a can't miss landmark. 2 drive-thru lanes, great burgers, over 4500 different milkshake combinations, and an $8.00 bag of fries that 5 people have trouble finishing.....

LOVE the milkshakes here and the endless flavours! You can combine up to 3 flavours so the possibilities seem endless. This place is usually super busy. Drive-thru is always busy and you can walk up and order at the window. They have several picnic tables out front as well. You can also order hot food such as fries and hamburgers. Every time I go to Calgary I make sure to get a milkshake here! This time I had the Pina Colada milkshake, very tropical and refreshing!

My wife and I went here for the 1st and last time.We ordered the burgers , fries, poutine and onion rings $28 the worst food we have ate in Calgary. If you want a good burger don't come here A&W do a better burger.

It's so great to have a place like this in Calgary and see it thrive. We go very rarely but it's an event for kids. We appreciate minimal waste (paper packaging), "no straws" on request - we take the food home anyways. It's always a cheeseburger and a milkshake for kids. Family fries are enormous!!!

I decided to check this place out, as I heard good things about it. We went around 630pm, on a weekday. There was quite a bit of a line already, both in the drive-thru and the walk-up windows. Very busy place! We waited about 10-15 minutes in the drive-thru just to get our food, so if you are in a rush this is by no means a 'fast-food' joint.

The menu is minimal, which is expected - burgers, shakes, fries, and sundaes. We ordered two cheese burgers, a poutine, and an Oreo shake. The shake comes in one size and it is large. My sister and I got one to share and we couldn't even finish it. The shake was delicious, though! There were lots of flavours that I would love to try for next time.

The burgers we're great - even though we got single burgers, they were double thin patties. Not sure if a single means double and a double means triple? The 'peters sauce' on them really made the burger! Sweet and tangy like a BBQ/rib sauce.

Poutine was lacking - the gravy didn't really have a great flavour to it and seemed under seasoned - we had to add a couple packets of salt to give it a boost. The size was good though, large enough for two people.

A couple things to keep in mind - there are two drive-thru windows on either side of the building - the line starts off as one and then kind of curves to split into two - it's hard to realize this because alot of the cars stay in the line closest to the beginning of the drive-thru entrance - we drove around the line to the second window and were able to get our food quicker.

Another thing to note - this place only takes debit or cash - no credit!

Burger and mikeshake is the best in Calgary
Just the parking security from GardaWorld disturb me every time when I go there. He knock my window twice and ask me why I come here. Also he follow me into customer line. That really stupid.

I still like their burgers and the portions are better than any other place I've been. Be careful , a small fries is like two large fries else where. Their milk shakes are legendary!

The burgers are very rich, just like their shakes. If you are in Calgary you should try them.

It's a good place to pick up, but doesn't have that may chair to seat. And seats are outside.

Fries, onion rings and burgers!

The burgers are big, very juicy, and tasty with fresh onion, relish and lots of their BBQ sauce, get extra napkins!

A 'Large' fry is HUGE, more than enough to feed a family of four (in my opinion), and the portion of onion rings is very generous as well.

Though the line up may be long at some periods during the day, the food is always worth the wait!

I won't eat their burgers because of the patties. However, we enjoy the fries, milkshakes, and dipped cones as a family.

Burgers are juicy! Strawberry, watermelon and peach mix is my favorite milkshake. Love the onion rings.

I go because I've been going there ever since I used to go to school down the street 40 years ago. I love the idea of Peters', but the food is ok also. Single burger is still 1 1/2 patties. Mr Peters' started this when I was a kid.

Only standout is the milkshakes. So many choices like pineapple, peach, apple pie etc. The milkshakes are by far the best thing they offer. Their burgers and fries are decent but the sauce is too sweet.

Pete's is a classic from another era. The milkshakes are awesome and the reason to visit. They have such a wide selection that it's hard to choose, plus t's all real dairy. Prices are higher than average but then this is no average burger joint. Burgers and fries are generous in size and good quality. Definitely an experience.
