It's an extremely busy place, even when it's not a busy time of day. The food is pretty mediocre, but the milkshakes are top notch. I wouldn't go for the food, but I will ALWAYS come for the milkshakes.

The many flavours of milkshake are definitely a big draw to this establishment. I enjoy the burgers also. Now that I'm in Winnipeg I don't get to stop in as much but do try and make a stop while driving through.
I usually just stick to the onion rings and milkshake, because the onion rings are huge and probably the best in the city, but I'll splurge on a burger every once in a while. Otherwise it's great to still have a drive-in in the city
The milkshakes were delicious as always, they were pretty busy due to being drive thru only but the line moved pretty consistently and they got us through fairly quick
Great milkshakes. I had a Strawberry Chocolate mix. They can mix up to 3 flavours. They have a ton of selection. It was a bit of a wait due to the lineups, but well worth the $5 shake
I love Peter's. I've been going since I was knee high to a grass hopper. The food is only marginally good however but I always went for dessert and milkshakes. The bannasplit and peanutbutter parfait are toot sweet. Kinda a pain in the ass to get to but grabbing a shake, chocolate dipped cone and heading over to the ridge and watching the fireworks is a great family activity.
Meh... We don't go as often as we once did... And I keep forgetting to just order the milkshake and forget about the rest of the menu.... The milkshakes are still as amazing as ever! I keep comparing the rest of the menu to how it was 'before'.....
Slow service. It seems like they have cut their staff in half. You wait a long time to order, then you stand to the side and wait a long time for your order. Peter's was never this slow...not in the middle of summer during Stampede Week.
I am speechless, I was accused, mistreated and threatened at Peter's by their security guard at near empty parking lot. I went there this evening around 7, planned to get a milkshake and my wife wanted bubble tea from next door. First thing I got out of the parking lot was their security guard came to me ask if I am getting Peter's or bubble tea, I told him Peter's, then he asked me to park somewhere else because this spot is reserved for employees as there are a lot of new employees in training, I looked around there were at least 5 empty spot in that roll. ok, fine, told my wife to park somewhere else while I slowly move away with an injured knee. we decided to get bubble tea first then grab milkshake on the way back. while slowly walking around the fence that security guard intercepted us with a smear on his face saying "obviously you are not getting peter's, you need to leave". I told him we are going to get bubble tea first then peter's. He said "YOU HAVE TO GET PETERS FIRST". I refused and he then proceed to threaten me by calling the toll truck.so I got milkshake and went back to the parking lot. while waiting for my wife to get bubble tea from next door, other cars parked at the first spot we parked, few others parked their car at Peter's and went somewhere else.
Amazing place. Definately try it out. Consumer service is amazing and everything is pretty cheap. Drinks are literally AMAZING! I always go here and always will!
One of Calgary's delicious burgers! There are always lots of people and milkshakes are very famous. All you have to do is take out and eat around on the bench. There are two rows of drive-throughs that are always full. The hamburger is a patty with a single burger that costs around $ 5 and it tastes good. If you are a Korean, say everthing when you order a hamburger, or say the works. This will make lettuce tomatoes, fried onions, pickles, and banana pepper. When you put it all in, you can easily squeeze it. I eat with fried onions, letter and tomato additional NO sauce. Peter's sauce is a little salty. It's a basic burger, but McDonald's burgers are much better to eat here than Peters. Milkshakes are more expensive than $ 5, but the amount is huge and it's good enough to eat like ice cream. French fries are also small, so it's better to eat onion rings than common fries. The taste is okay. And cut the raw potatoes right away and fry. fresh. -Warhol came here and worked here.
I had a love affair with Peters' Drive-In for almost 50 years, but I am ready to cut the relationship as the last time the food was not good at all, no flavor whatsoever and the fries were bad that we throw away. The wait was 45 minutes which was not worth it...
First time and last time there ...Customer serve wasn't pleasant.... Order plain cheese burger got a loaded burger ... brought it back only to get grief about it...
5 Guys Burger has them Beat for Burgers and Fries!!!
Wow this place is awsome. This is my first time in 3years after I moved to calgary. This is a nice place to grab and go when you don't feel like cooking. Best part is milkshakes with tons of flavours to choose from. Service is faster than I thought. Loved it
Quality has really degraded, I use to enjoy their onion ring so much, but now I am not seeing the same quality. Guys please pull up ur socks and bring back the old flavors.
