It was ok. Milkshake was the best part. We paid extra for double cheeseburgers, but we got the same things my friend got and they paid for singles. 2 adults with 2 milkshakes comes to 35ish dollars. Just a heads up.

Very unique type of fast food. The shakes and sides are delicious. Milkshake includes countless flavours that you can choose from mix together. However, the lineups can get very long during popular times. A decent menu variety.

Had a delicious burger. And the fries were awesome. They have so many milkshake combo's you can do... I had chocolate cherry rootbeer. It tasted great

Food is good but waited 30min in line at the drive thru. It gets super busy in the evening

Everything is amazing except for the burgers, not worth the hype

I got there at about 10:15 am there was nobody ahead of me in line. I ordered a milkshake and onion rings. I got the shake in about 2 minutes but it took almost 15 minutes to get the rings. The person serving me started making shakes for everyone and forgot about me. I am being generous with the three stars since there was no apologies for the wait.

Amazing milk shakes, onion rings and much more. They have started accepting debit cards which is good. Previously it used to be cash only. But make sure you got the right item after placing your order. They mixed up my order once. Also its open till late nigh which is good. Huge Free parking lot is available right next to it.

The drive through line was crazy long, but we just went up to the window, and our food actually came out pretty quickly after we ordered. This is where we chose to go to try poutine during our short stay in Alberta. It was tasty. The burgers were pretty good as well.

price is high but food is good. The milkshakes are nice-personally the wait can get a little long tho

The food here is garbage these days. Milkshakes are decent but not amazing. Staff are rude and slow

great milkshakes. foods not bad but asking dor a customized order like banana peppers on the side instead of on is apparently a no go

Double cheese n rings , five stars ! Banana chocolate shake, at least five stars !... French fries were a bit of a soggy mess tho.

Great. A little annoying that the bathroom is like fort Knox but with all the vandalism I don't blame them.

I do not know if it is a very famous restaurant, but I can eat it.

Great shakes, burgers, and fries. 4/5 as burger toppings missing and wrong on both burgers ordered. Quality control needs stepped up.

Great milkshakes, you can order a small (though it's not stated on the menu) the regular size is more than enough. Never loved their burgers as they don't put tomatoes or lettuce on them, people LOVE the peters sauce though. They will give an enormous amount of fries even if you're ordering just a small(their fries don't have salt on them, but they give you salt packets). They cannot be beat in price and size. Worth a try if you're in Calgary or Red Deer!

Line up is always long, but the food especially the burgers are so worth it. The fries are amazing and huge.

Decent burguer. Last time I went there, fries were not good. I hope this to be an exceptional case.

I just realized that you can combine up to 3 flavors in a milkshake! MIND BLOWN!! The potential combinations are endless. My 1st banana, mango, strawberry and it was awesome. What will you combine?

He Calgary favourite one of the best places to get burgers fries and a milkshake I would imagine in Canada it hasn't changed in probably 40 years milkshakes are really sick and the burgers are fantastic when you order a single you actually get a 1 and 1/2 Patty and then a double would be 2 1/2 patties it's great and it's a Calgary Institution

Milkshakes are super thick, but also super delicious. And the onion rings are absolutely amazing!

By far one of the best Milkshakes place I've ever had. Burgers are pretty good too, though make sure you remember to ask for toppings. Didn't realize the topping were free for the longest time, all the missed goodness. =(

I've tried it twice. It's not for me. Thin burger patties and stale fries. Not worth the money spent.

Always have to stop and grab a burger when I drive though Calgary. Love it.

Service is great food is even greater but mics are very old you have to shout to get food .

Used to be amazing. Now a complete waste of time three times in a row they couldn't get my order right. And the last time 2 burgers and 2 shakes took 15 minutes in the drivethrough.

The food is awesome, and you always get more for your money. If you haven't tried the ice cream milkshakes, get down there right now, haha, and be prepared to spoon it out of the cup first. Love this place. Iconic !

A must when you visit Calgary.. my fave is Coca-mocha & coconut milkshake, cheeseburger, and onion rings. Even better when bonding with family.

There is nothing better than a Peter's shake. Burgers are decent but not amazing. For the 45 bucks for the 3 of us it's a once a year trip.

It has a special taste different from a franchise hamburger :) It is recommended to share it because it has a large shake !!

Meh. Burger was okay. Milkshake was too thick to drink.

I'm on my way to the airport, so I can't miss it! Heavy potato chips, homemade hamburgers and sweet strawberry shakes. Deliciously eaten!

I've had so many people telling me to visit Peter's, now I see why. Only thing was that the ordering window was merged with the pick-up window and made it a bit confusing. Overall, staff are great and they have beautiful sitting areas.

I love Peter's. I've been going to the place for 40 years! It brings back memories of when my dad and I would spend the day together and we would always stop to eat singles, share onion rings and get a milkshake each. Now I take my kids. Love it, just don't like the waiting.

It's a great experience definitely worth a try not particularly amazing food but a good Calgaryaian culture thing to do. If you want a good milkshake and and of course a classic burger and frys it's the place to go. It's open late soo gives you something to do while in the city late night.

Closest thing a Winnipegger can find to a BDI, anywhere out West.

It's a Calgary classic, extra thick shakes and burgers. I love the variety of shakes offered, with a serving of crispy onion rings on the side! Keep in mind this classic drive thru diner is almost always busy, but generally pretty worth it. They are also open fairly late to quench those late night cravings.
